Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Nikko is not the cheapest holiday destination, with that we were reasonably happy with the price of this accommodation. The room was spacious and comfortable. The onsen was also good. The complimentary breakfast was rather symbolic ( while staying for two nights, the cups for coffee were given us for two people two nights at the start, while croissants/ simple small baking were given twice, on daily basis). I am not sure what is the reason why one has to guarantee to check into the hotel by or before 7 pm ( as there is the staff overnight), but that was the condition of ( not the cheapest, hence rather higher established class of ) this accommodation in Nikko. One drawback for tourists who ( like most of tourists) visit Nikko just for one night ( we stayed two nights there) is that the hotel is adamant not to help to store the bag after checking out ( and advises one to return to the train station 2 km away while the main sightseeing spots are in the other direction from the hotel ( main temples just at short walk distance, yet those cannot be visited with the luggage). The hotel is ample, and surely some provision to assist visitors with luggage to store for the day visits would be seen as good.
in case one would need to store some luggage, the issue of storage of luggage after check out would make this better place to stay

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026The hotel was very nice with friendly, helpful staff and in a brilliant location for the world heritage area and bus stop to the lake area. The room was really cosy and comfortable. We loved the traditional experience with the futons, drinking tea sitting on tatami mats. The public bath was nice and comfortable and a great addition to our stay. It was helpful to be able to check how many people were using it to avoid overcrowding. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel in the morning until check-in. WiFi and aircon both worked well.
The rules make a one night stay quite inconvenient, which is a shame considering the location. You can only leave your luggage here until 12pm the following day (and only if you book this the day before). This means that if you want to get the bus from right outside the hotel to the lake and waterfalls, you either need to wake up early or you will need to take your bags back in the opposite direction to pay for expensive lockers at the station. Our bags were just left inside the front door to the hotel so I do not see why it would be an issue to leave them for longer. You are also not allowed to use communal areas of the hotel, including toilets, from 10am to 3pm. There are nice looking sofas at the front of the hotel but I don't know why these are here if you are not allowed to use them until the evening.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w pobliżu Shinkyo Bridge prowadzącego do kompleksu świątyń. Pokój urządzony w stylu japońskim z możliwością skorzystania z onsenum w cenie pokoju.
Brak śniadania a pobliskie bary i restauracje otwierały się dopiero o 10.00. Znaczna odległość od dworca kolejowego trzeba było korzystać z komunikacji publicznej lub taxi.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Le terme erano belle, e c'erano molti prodotti per cura dei capelli e della pelle in omaggio. In camera c'era un croissant ed una bruoscina per la colazione. Infine mi è piaciuta una lavasciuga a gettoni utile per lavare il bucato.
Mi hanno dato un solo asciugamano con cui dovevo fare tutto, comprese le terme. Se avessi voluto un altro asciugamano, per le mani per esempio, avrei dovuto pagare un extra. Il check out era alle 10 ed avevo un po' di problemi dell'ultimo momento perché non trovavo una cosa ed avevo tanti bagagli, per cui, anche se avevo consegnato già le chiavi di una camera, per la seconda ero un pelo in ritardo, comunque stavo prendendo le ultime valigie ed uscendo dalla stanza alle 10.03. MI hanno detto che se ci mettevo più di 7 minuti mi avrebbero fatto pagare un extra. Ho dovuto fare una corsa in ascensore per consegnare le chiavi della seconda stanza alle 10.06. IO CAPISCO CHE SE C'È UN ORARIO DI CHECK OUT, VA RISPETTATO, MA SE VEDI CHE UN CLIENTE STA USCENDO ED HA UN PO' DI DIFFICOLTÀ, per 3 min non mi sembra il caso di stressarlo. In precedenza volevo sedermi in reception, ed hanno detto che non ci si poteva sedere.. Ma allora a cosa servono le poltrone? Infine i bagagli: non era possibile lasciarli oltre le 12 e quindi mi hanno chiesto di prendere il bus per ritornare in stazione, metterli neiq locker pubblici a pagamento e riprenderee il bus per ritornare su'. Secondo me sarebbe veramente importante che si attrezzassero per un deposito bagagli. Anche a pagamento, ma far fare su e giù col bus mi sembra sbagliato. Poi tutto con grandi sorrisi ed inchini, per carità, ma la forma non è sufficiente se non è accompagnata dal genuino desiderio di aiutare gli ospiti, specialmente se vengono da viaggi lunghi e quindi si trovano in maggiore difficoltà. Almeno così è per l'ospitalità italiana.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026ロケーションは、とても良かったです。お部屋も綺麗で静かで、スッタフ対応も優しくて親切でした。お風呂大浴場でのコンディショナーとシャンプーが、10種類ほど置かれていて好きなのが選べました。ゆっくり入れました。翌日も12時まで荷物預かってくれたのも便利でした。素泊まりのみというのも良かったです。
地下に有る大浴場へは一回から徒歩で階段を使って降りる点。視覚障害者と一緒だったので、エレベータが地下まであると安全安心なお風呂への移動ができるかと思いました。

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026我々は少食なのでホテルの夕食・朝食は量が多すぎて閉口してしまうのですが、このホテルは素泊まりのみなので我々には大変都合の良いホテルでした。 部屋・トイレ・部屋風呂の清掃が行き届いていて大変気持ちよく過ごせました。夜間も静かで大変よく眠れました。 スタッフ（研修生）の対応も大変良かったと思います。
１，カーテンが遮光カーテンだったらよかったと思います。 ２，洗面所の蛇口の位置が少し使いにくい位置でした。

Reviewed Jun 15, 2026일본식 다다미방숙소지만 편안하고 깨끗하고 가성비가 좋은 호텔입니다. 작지만 대중목욕탕도 있어 피로도 풀수있고 무엇보다 도부닛코역에서 걸어올수있는 거리이고 동조궁등 문화유산을 가기에도 매우 가깝습니다. 바로 앞에 버스정류장도 있어요. 여러장점이 있는데도 불구하고 가격이 합리적이라 매우 추천합니다.
짐을 12시까지만 맡아줍니다. 1시로 부탁드려 허락을 받긴했지만 대체로 12시까지인게 조금 불편합니다. 그러나 인도가 잘 되어있어 짐을들고 도로를 따라 걸으며 여러가게를 구경할수 있어서 괜찮았어요.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026La ubicación es ideal para visitar todo el conjunto de templos de Nikko. Yo en general no duermo bien en futones en el suelo pero debo reconocer que el de este hotel me pareció bastante cómodo. La habitación es muy amplia y el personal del hotel muy servicial, cuando llegamos con el coche nos acompañaron para llevarnos hasta la plaza de aparcamiento en el parking municipal gratuito.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Das Zimmer war perfekt und das Personal mega nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sogar besser als auf den Fotos, weil wir eine tolle Aussicht aus dem Fenster hatten, die auf den Fotos gar nicht ersichtlich war.
Es war alles super, nur als Info für Veganer: Wir hatten das Hotel gefragt, ob in der Nähe veganes Essen verfügbar ist (Im Hotel selbst gibts kein Essen). Sie haben uns netterweise eine Liste mit sehr vielen Restaurants gegeben, allerdings meinten Sie, dass es keine veganen Angebote gibt. Das stimmt nicht. Direkt (150 Meter!) vor dem Hotel gibts ein veganes sehr leckeres Cafe, in dem wir dann immer gefrühstückt haben mit auch tollem Kaffee. Also es gibt Möglichkeiten :)

Very strict with times. Onsen only open for a few hours in the morning but longer at night. No access to hotel during cleaning time.

Reviewed May 22, 2026The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke some English. They were very helpful when we had a problem. Our room was very neat and clean. It is also practically next to the main shrine area. It is a very nice location and very peaceful.
The breakfast was instant coffee and packaged bread. It should be clearer when booking. It's a very sleepy part of town. There was one place to go out to get breakfast, and most places were closed by 5pm. They only places open later for dinner were one restaurant above a souvenir shop and a chain family restaurant. While both places had good food, we had spent the day out and didn't want to travel far for dinner.

Reviewed May 4, 2026スタッフさんの接客がとても良かったです♪ 宿の前についたら、すぐにご案内しにでてきてくれて荷物も素早く運んでくれ、子供達もいたのでとても 助かりました！ 宿も綺麗に清掃されていて、こまめにスタッフさんが掃除してくれてるのを感じました！ アクセスもよくまた泊まりたいなと思える宿でした♪

호텔 주차장을 사용을 못하게 할거면 옆에 시영주차장에 주차를 하라고 안내를 했으면 알아서 안전하게 주차하고 체크인을 할텐데 굳이굳이 운전 역방향에 있는 호텔 앞에 그것도 잠깐 주차할 공간도 없는 왕복 이차선 도로에 짐과 동반가족을 내리게 하고 호텔직원을 조수석에 태워서 주차장으로 이동하는 이유를 모르겠다 내가 운전을 못했으면 애초에 나리타에서 차를 끌고 가지도 않았을 것인데 뭐가 그렇게 못미더윘는지 계속 호들갑 떨어서 정신 사나웠다. 주차장 지정을 확실히 하던지 발렛 서비스라도 제공하던지 막 도착한 사람의 기분을 망치진 않았으면 좋겠다

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026El establecimiento estaba muy bien ubicado, a unos 10 minutos andando de los templos. El personal es muy amable y servicial. El onsen es muy recomendable, sobre todo en el femenino, pues cuenta con una amplia selección de champús y productos para el cuidado del cabello.
