It is a fantastic place to stay: in a fantastic location, comfortable beds, amazing host (who even does trivia with the guests!), great breakfast, and you get to stay on a boat. We both thought it was a great place to base ourselves while exploring the city and loved staying on a boat.

Wir haben zwei Nächte auf dem Hausboot verbracht. Das Zimmer an sich war in Ordnung. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Klimaanlage im Zimmer – gerade bei warmen Temperaturen war das wirklich perfekt. Leider war das Frühstück eine große Enttäuschung und der größte Kritikpunkt unseres Aufenthalts. Für den Preis hätten wir deutlich mehr Auswahl und insgesamt eine bessere Qualität erwartet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis beim Frühstück stimmt aus unserer Sicht leider nicht.“

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026Top Lage....ein Muss um das Abenteuer Amsterdam perfekt zu machen.Sehr gutes vielseitiges Frühstück liebevoll vorbereitet.Sehr nette Gastgeberin von der wir während des Frühstücks mehr über die Niederlande u Amsterdam erfahren haben als in der Schule od bei der Grachtenfahrt.Sie spricht deutsch, französisch, englisch ,vielleicht sogar noch mehr.Zimmer ist mit super Dusche u WC ausgestattet u hst 3 Fenster von 2 mit Insektenschutz versehen sind.Gut belüftbar ,was mir bei der Bootskabinengrösse wichtig war. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The walls are thin and sound travels. However all the guests were quiet and respectful, so this is more of a potential risk.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026L’hôte était très agréable (parle beaucoup de langues : français, hollandais, anglais, allemand, arabe et portugais !). La chambre etait parfaitement suffisante et confortable, le lieu est facilement trouvable et accessible et est surtout au cœur d’Amsterdam ! Le petit déjeuner était complet et copieux.
Les plages horaires pour faire le check in sont peut être un peu restreintes (entre 15h et 18h) A prévoir : Il n’y a pas de parking mais l’hôte nous a recommandé un parking à 15min de marche à 45e la journée (dans la tour booking.com).

The walls are pretty thin so I think the place is best suited for chill people, couples… not for stags.

Reviewed Dec 14, 2025Het was een leuke ervaring op de boot met een hele lieve hoste, die ook de geschiedenis kent en het rijden en zeilen van amsterdam. Ik heb heel goed geslapen en het was proper. Alles was aanwezig, ook bij het ontbijt. Fijn samen zitten met verschillende toeristen en de hoste.

The guests staying on board were also good. However, the keychains are a bit bulky and don't fit in pockets. The ship's sound insulation isn't great, but the staff are attentive and polite.
There is nothing that can be corrected.

La chambre est petite mais fonctionnelle, et la salle commune ou tout le monde se retrouve pour prendre le petit déjeuner très agréable. Le bateau est suffisamment grand et lourd pour qu'on ne ressente pas du tout les mouvements de l'eau.
