CharmCham house

The room was quiet and comfortable, easily the most homely stay I had in Hanoi. The room had a calm and private energy, and I slept comfortably. The owner was very nice and helped me book a tour I wanted, and was able to accommodate both an early & late check-in/out. He was a down-to-earth-guy and very accommodating; it was my pleasure to stay at his property and support him.

As described, very cute little apartment room.

Está al mig del Old Quarter, i tot i així no es sent el soroll del carrer des de l'habitació. L'amfitrió parla molt bé anglès i és molt amigable. Vam ampliar la nostra estada.

Res

Location is perfect in the heart of old quarter

There are two other rooms for guests you can hear them if they will be noisy

Camera senza finestra

So far so good.great location in old quarter.hanoi

Perfect location! Walking distance to everything in Old Quarter. Host was very communicative via whatsapp. Fair price for the property and the bedrooms were spacious with a good bathroom. Would absolutely stay again.

There can be quite a bit of noise late at night, however this is to be expected for the location and you would experience the same anywhere in old quarter

The location. It’s clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water.

The host was super helpful, trustworthy and accommodating. The room was big, clean and very quiet. Free water and top ups.

I’m not a fan of carpeting in rooms. Also the place was a bit tough to find, although on a busy street, there’s only a little sign on a door which is open during the day. I would definitely not stay in that neighbourhood again.

CharmCham is the perfect play to stay in Hanoi. Right in the centre of the Old Town, off one of the streets on the infamous Beer Street. Though you cannot hear any of the noise from the room! The rooms are lovely and kitted out for all you could need. Most importantly, the owner, Thinh, is an amazing host who went above and beyond for us during our stay. In his words, “serving lovely guests is my happiness”, which really reflected on to our experience. Couldn’t recommend Thinh and his home enough. Thank you!

I like that it was close to the center of Old Quarter. Room is very spacious. The owner is also very kind that he helped me carry my luggage going up and down. He is also very caring in terms of roaming around Hanoi. He can suggest various things that can help you buy the things you need. The place is within the Beer street so it can get loud and busy at night but I dont hear the music much in my room.

The accessibility around old quarter

The stairs

Very nice host, homelike feeling

Being on the first floor, you hear anyone going upstairs very clearly... While this is part of the homelike feeling, it is also uncomfortable and unpleasant. There isn't really hot water, but that's a minor inconvenience. The location is actually in the middle of the tourist/backpackers quarter, and while it's nice in the day, the evenings are incredibly animated and noisy with clubs and bars playing very loud music. The noise can almost be ignored when closing the windows, but not quite...

Very helpful and friendly staff & great location

Location was ok.

The room was dirty, we felt very uncomfortable and slept in our own sleeping bags rather than the sheets on the bed. We had booked in for 4 nights but only stayed the 1.

location and host was great. Michael allowed us to check in early and helped us book a tour to ninh binh and did our washing. room was very quiet for location. hair dryer and complimentary water was provided in room.

Shower over toilet this is very common in Vietnam, gets water every where and stays wet. only small blanket provided had to ask for another one.

Great location right in the heart of it all while still being hidden enough away to get a good quiet nights sleep. And the host was amazing and so accommodating, he really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was as good as it could possibly be

The shower ran out hot water pretty quick and doesn’t drain very well so the bathroom gets very wet. I also noticed a bit of mould developing in the ceiling, probably due to the bathroom getting so wet

L’accueil et gentillesse de l’hôte

We had a great stay at CharmCam House in Hanoi. The location was very convenient — right in the heart of the city, close to the Old Quarter, cafes, shops, and local sights. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a peaceful retreat after long days of exploring. The host was friendly and helpful, offering good local tips and making check-in/check-out smooth. The atmosphere was cozy, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. Overall, CharmCam House was a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable place to stay in Hanoi, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Room was clean, and Host incredibly kind and helpful.

The grab driver will most likely not be able to bring you to the doorstep because of all the restaurants and bars around so you’ll have to walk a few minutes. But for us that wasn’t really a problem

Líbila s enam i možnost doplnění vody a nekupovat díky tomu zbytečné plasty.

Lokazlicja świetna,bo sam srodek Old Quarter.Trochę głośno,ale za to wszędzie blisko :)

Nic

It is located in the middle of Hanoi's old quarter, very close to all the cafes and food vendors. The room is clean and big enough for two people, our room had a window to the bathroom, which helped keep the room comfortable and airy.

all was good

I like the most that I feel like an my own house, also have amazing location nearby to the beer street and restaurants. If you’re a solo travel looking to a place highly rated this is.

Everything was good.

I can highly recommend this accommodation. You're right in the heart of things, yet it's very quiet in the room. A dream! And many thanks to the host. He's an incredibly kind-hearted person who helps out whenever he can. He takes care of his guests like almost no one else. Thank you for letting me stay here.

The great location and the warm welcome we received. The person who checked us in was extremely kind and helpful, which made our stay even better. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect! If I had to mention something, it would be that we could hear some noise from the room above and also from the street

Everything was great and the host was super friendly and very helpful

Great host, clean amenities, quiet room even in a busy area, great location

Nice room, friendly uost

Phòng vừa phải, ấm cúng, gần gũi, đặc biệt là a chủ qá thân thiện, nhiệt tình tạo cảm giác như ở nhà, vị trí thuận tiện cho việc đi lại và vui chơi❤️

K hề

Lage ist toll. Gastgeber sehr freundlich.

Absolutely incredible location. Right in the middle of everything, but tucked back behind the shops and completely sound proof from the noise of the night life. The owner was incredibly helpful and let us check in much earlier due to our early arrival. Everything was clean and comfortable with working AC and a cozy room.

Good location right in the middle of old quarter. A bit noisy at night as there's a big bar right below. Fair size for the price. Japanese themed. There's a cute cat the loiters near the entrance at night.

Nil

Very central location and quiet and cosy environment, spacious room, excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning made the stay perfect. Thanks to the landlord always kind and helpful.

Cozy place to stay with all the little details. Located right in the middle of the busy touristy old quarter of Hanoi still totally quiet. The room has everything what you need for feeling home. Super clean. Thinh the person in charge is super helpful. We will come back again.

The bed is so comfortable

Very quiet considering the place is right on “drinking street” Thịnh was an extremely welcoming and delightful host

Had different fellow guests every night from beautifully quiet to very loud! I was in room A1 which meant everyone had to climb the stairs around my room. Some were more considerate than others

Great location nice and quite for the area,, good sized room nice place to stay would recommend staff are very nice

Convenient and clean

Homestay manager was very helpful. Certainly a central location !

Too close to noisy beer street, just through a courtyard. Never seemed quiet. Mattress on floor & too hard for us. Small room & smaller bathroom.

Great location, right in the center of night market and street parties.. Room ventilation is a bit missing but it's decent for this budget.

Room ventilation could have been better

Location was right in the centre, the accomodation was spacious, easy check in, hot water and good wifi.

It will be noisy on the weekend

Location, host helpful with check in

Bedding not clean, mold everywhere, couldn’t use the air conditioning because of the mold inside. We could hear everything from the room above us

There's no breakfast provided.

Lack of furniture. A table would be nice.

The room is very nice and tidy. Good location and good service. I will book again for my next trip to Hanoi

The room is a little bit lack of sun light but it is very warm in the winter because of well insulation.

Amazing location. Host is amazing. Comfortable and cozy

Location is in mid of the hanoi old quarter which is a hub of main party and shopping place. Entry to the stay is very sad. Staff informed me that it closes after 1am in night. Bathroom was clean. Staff was helpful in accommodating your late arrival.

No walls only separators (Sound goes out easily). Congested (less space) Carpet and bedsheet were not cleaned properly The kettle was not clean Water bottles were kept on first day after that staff informed that water is given only on first day. (Really sad)

Studio room in a house up one of the small alleys. Right in the old quarter and 5-10 mins from the lake

Nothing but some others fight find the stairs difficult

private room in someones house with large comfy double bed and modern bathroom (hot shower, etc). great location middle of old quarter behind beer street but surprisingly not very noisy because hidden in the alleys!

Michael was the best host!

Be careful out on the street at after 6PM due to aggressive vendors, etc.

Central location and Michael a wonderful host. Returning for second stay, and also stayed at second property near Hanoi Train Street.

Top floor can be noisy, but lower floors fine!

If you want to be close to bar street, then this is the place to go. Host was very good and provided us with a google link to all the best attractions.

Could have been cleaner.

The location is in the middle of old quarter area. The owner was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The wifi connection was good as well. Definitely will be back in the future

No elevator, so if you have a big luggage it will be a bit difficult however the owner helped us to carry the luggage down..Thank you so much
