Spatia Comporta, a Member of Design Hotels

Tout était parfait. La sublime piscine, notre cabanas très confortable et bien décorée, le petit déjeuner… Nous avons moins apprécié notre dîner au restaurant Ora.

Le restaurant ne nous a pas convaincus.

Tranquilidade, apesar de estar cheio não se sentia qualquer desconforto por excesso de gente , parecia estar a 20% de ocupação . Disponibilidade para servir , de todo o staff. Horários alargados para pequeno almoço e refeições em geral. Piscina lindíssima, relva impecável, confortável e bem assistida pelo apoio de bar. ( destaque para o trabalhador que prestava serviço). Quarto e comodidades associadas. Jardins e circuitos em passadiços excelentes.

A experiência na deslocação e jantar no restaurante asiático não foi positiva. Relação preço / qualidade negativa.

A distância entre o quarto e o restaurante do pequeno almoço e a zona da piscina de adultos é enorme (à volta de 20-30 minutos a pé). Havia imensas moscas na área da piscina. O nosso quarto ficava numa casa com mais dois quartos e o barulho dos outros hóspedes, sem qualquer respeito pela hora tardia (após a meia noite), manteve-nos acordados até muito tarde.

The breakfast was extremely good! The place is very quiet, away from the noise of the towns and tourists, 15 minutes by car from the beaches of Comporta.

Dinner at the restaurant was an unpleasant surprise! We ordered two dishes: one vegetarian and the other pork Alentejo style, but both were of poor quality and taste. We also ordered a glass of wine, but for 10€ they poured us no more than 90 ... 100ml. Apparently for these reasons there were only 10 people in the restaurant for dinner.

the landscape is stunning the design was clean and modern the facilities, ie, tennis court, bikes, pool were 5 star close to some incredible beaches and restuarants quite road, easy to drive to

Facilities, location, food, ambience, cleanliness and vibes was all very positive. Most importantly though, the staff were incredible, friendly and made every moment feel special - thank you to each and every one of you from the reception, to the pool bar, housekeeping, restaurant and valet/porters.

travail de l'architecte problématique : salle de bain et wc avec des parois en verre donnant dans la chambre ne permettant aucune intimité ! à ce prix là on attend des chambres avec des finitions plus soignées et aucun désagrément de ce type domaine avec peu d'indications et peu de lumière donc compliqué de retrouver sa chambre le soir dans le noir carte du petit déjeuner mériterait d'être étoffée

le calme , l emplacement à l abri des regards et le fait que l espace adulte only soit séparé de l espace famille . Très belle idée ! Les chambres sont grandes , belles et spacieuses.

Le fait de ne pas avoir un beach club ni une navette pour la plage vu les embouteillages pour arriver à la plage . Il manque des espaces chaleureux comme un bar ( en dehors de celui de la piscine ) , peu des transats à la piscine, peu de personnel et beaucoup des mouches présentes y compris au restaurant . Je n ai rien vu pour y remédier ou atténuer

Ótimos funcionários e atendimento

Just so peaceful and like living in our own beautiful estate. We were in terracotta which is the original part which we preferred but the new part is fabulous too and you can use it.

The rooms are cabins in the woods. We were desperate for peace as had been so busy. We could here the road so asked to be moved which to their credit the did quickly and efficiently. I’d def ask for a room away from the road though. It’s a 15 minute a drive away from Comporta or beach which didn’t bother us but might if you had young children.

This hotel is superb - super chilled and relaxing and quiet, even though we were told it was actually very busy when we stayed. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the facilities were all excellent - especially the heated pools and the bikes you can use around the very large grounds.

The downside to having large, quiet grounds is that it is pretty remote and is a 25 minute drive into Comporta.

We almost booked Sublime — and we are so glad we didn’t. Spatia felt like the more private, more immersive choice, and it delivered completely. The property is beautifully kept, lush with plants that actually smell incredible, and you genuinely feel tucked into nature rather than just adjacent to it. Our room was larger than expected with a spacious living area, a gorgeous outdoor shower, a comfortable bed, and a view we didn’t want to leave. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. The layout made it easy to walk to the pool and breakfast, which sounds small but matters a lot with young kids in tow. Speaking of breakfast — it was exceptional, and Paulo made it the highlight of our mornings. Our kids were genuinely excited to see him every day, which tells you everything about the kind of warmth the staff bring to the place. Gifts on arrival and departure were a lovely touch that made it feel personal rather than transactional. If you’re considering Comporta, stay here.

The setting within the wood is really nice and the whole site is immaculately kept. The reception staff were excellent - really helpful booking restaurants and advising places to visit. Breakfast was great.

The restaurant staff struggled a little understanding dietary requirements - maybe just because it was the beginning of the season?

Le lieu...la chambre magnifique ! Le petit déjeuner exceptionnel ! Un immense, un gigantesque merci à Paolo qui est serveur au petit déjeuner. J'ai rarement rencontré quelqu'un avec un tel professionnalisme et une telle gentillesse. Ma famille et moi avons été très émus de cette rencontre. J'espère que ces supérieurs se rendent compte de la chance qu'ils ont d'avoir un élément pareil dans leur équipe et qu'il saura être récompensé à sa juste valeur.

Everything was beyond perfect.

Personnel très chaleureux et accueillant, avec de nombreuses attentions appréciables (produits pour notre fille, petit cadeau de départ). Les espaces sont agréables, que ce soit la chambre ou la piscine, et le petit-déjeuner est de très bonne qualité.

Quelques points à améliorer : les toilettes de la piscine étaient en travaux, et l’espace d’accueil attenant ferme dès 17h30, ce qui ne permet plus d’accéder aux toilettes ni d’obtenir des serviettes de piscine après cette heure. De plus, une lumière d’alarme clignotante dans la chambre peut être gênante pendant la nuit.

Das Zimmer war teilweise etwas abgewohnt (viele Kratzer in Waschbecken zb), Garten beim Zimmer eher lieblos - passte für mich nicht zu einem 5 Sterne Hotel zu dem Preis. Kinderpool war kälter als großes Becken, deutlicher Unterschied zum Adults-only Bereich

Alles! Super relaxt, mooi, goede service, heerlijk ontbijt. Nu al 3 keer bezocht. Met en zonder kinderen een aanrader.

De auto staat ver op de parkeerplek. Niet altijd zin om eerst in een buggy vervoerd te worden.

It was a lovely experience. I feel like pictures cannot fully capture the beauty of this place in the middle of nature. Facilities, room, heated pool, breakfast, service,… everything was really nice.

No meio do pinhal, apesar de estar a 20 min da praia do carvalhal. Os colaboradores foram de extrema simpatia e cuidado. A massagem desportiva optima, assim como ginasio, as bicicletas, campos de tenis. Fantástico pequeno-almoço e o jantar tb foi optimo.

Só é pena a distância da praia.

Quarto com bastante espaco. Atenção dos funcionários em geral, sempre atentos e disponíveis . Com zona envolvente para caminhar e andar de bicicleta. Ótimo pequeno almoço.

Spatia is a place that feels like hoe away from home. Place that we will be happy to come back over and over again, for short weekend or full holiday it will be a great fit. Thanks to all team that made us feel so comfortable.

Ambiente muito tranquilo, de paz e sossego para desligar verdadeiramente Pequeno almoço fantástico. Faltam pequenos apontamentos que tornem a estadia mais cosy nestes dias frios, como aquecimentos no lounge exterior, definitivamente um SPA com piscina coberta aquecida e pequenos pormenores no quarto como uma Salamandra, umas mantas quentinhas que permitam estar cá fora no pateo, etc. No entanto há que referir que não tive nunca frio dentro do quarto e estivemos sempre confortáveis, mas a nível de decoração, assim à primeira vista, para induzir a que é mais um hotel de verão.

Tampa da sanita meia "solta". A torneira do chuveiro fixo avariada (consequente inoperacionalidade dessa opção) Gavetas de um dos conjuntos a ranger. Tendo saído ao fim da tarde, ao regressar tive de telefonar para me abrirem o portão do espaço porque nem os cartões funcionavam, nem ninguém atendia quando se pressionava a campainha adjacente (a funcionar perfeitamente como tive oportunidade de confirmar à chegada)

We loved the hotel. Everything was thought out down to the last detail to create an atmosphere of tranquility and privacy. I'd especially like to highlight the excellent service. The hotel staff does everything to make your stay truly comfortable. I'd also like to mention the restaurant; it's truly delicious! Breakfast has a wide selection. The hotel grounds are spacious, with plenty of room for strolling. You can take advantage of the complimentary bike rental service. There's also a tennis court, paddleboarding, and a gym.

We had a lovely stay at Spatia Comporta. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and whenever any small issue came up, the staff handled it quickly and professionally. Truly a wonderful experience.
