Hotelboat Sarah

This was a really fun experience. We were able to walk to most places that we wanted to go. The breakfast buffet was diverse, fresh and plentiful. Agnes was so very helpful and always cheerful. It is so handy to be close to the Central train station. The common room and deck area were comfortable and a fun place to connect with other guests.

The room was very small and not a place where we spent much time.

Excellent location and a very friendly host who made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was abundant, with plenty of options each morning.

We visited in late spring during an exceptionally hot period, with temperatures exceeding 30°C. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not functioning at the time, as it was awaiting its annual service. This made our stay less comfortable than expected.

It was a lovely spot and a fun and different place to stay. Breakfast was great and Romek was a great host.

It was difficult to move around in the bathroom, and the towels were not replaced or the beds made up.

Romek gave us a warm welcome and was informative about the workings of the boat. The breakfast was a bonus and full of variety. Excellent free tea and coffee machine. Would recommend to anyone and stay there again if I went back

The room was compact but designed to maximise the space to full use. Not a dislike really.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft. Super freundliches Personal und alles da was man braucht. Lage zum Zentrum war perfekt.

Das einzige Manko, es war sehr hellhörig. Wenn man einen leichten Schlaf hat, kann es u.U. etwas laut sein.

Die Schiffseigner sind extrem freundlich, an Bord herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Lage des Hotelschiffes mitten im Zentrum ist perfekt. Natürlich geht es viel enger zu als in einem Hotelzimmer. Aber das Ambiente macht alles wett ......

Simple accommodation, basic rooms and facilities. Excellent breakfast. Nice livingroom. Free coffe/tea machine all day long. Nice experience all in all in a boat.

No towels change and no cleaning in 5 days stay. We could have asked I guess.

Das Zimmer war einfach aber gemütlich, wir mochten es sehr. Die Betten fanden wir sehr bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Boots war perfekt - 10 bis 15 Minuten Fußweg ins Zentrum.

Il giorno della partenza ho richiesto di poter usufruire del deposito bagagli fino alle 17 e mi è stato concesso solo fino alle 15, il problema era che avendo un viaggio organizzato, da tempo, della durata di 8 ore, ho dovuto cambiare i miei programmi e non lo trovo davvero corretto dato che su booking è indicata la possibilità di poter usufruire del deposito bagagli e non è previsto nessun orario di ritiro.

A Amsterdam loger sur une péniche c’est incomparable. Super. Quand tu arrives d’Oslo où tu étais pour assister à la fin de la coupe du monde de biathlon et que tu es accueilli par Christofz, polonais comme moi et fan de biathlon regardant ce que j’ai vu il y a quelques jours sur place. Drôle de coïncidence.

Breakfast was great every morning, European in focus (sliced meats & cheeses), fresh cucumbers & tomatoes, yogurt, fruit and an egg dish. Lots of breads. It was perfect start to the day. Our room (with single beds) was fine, clean, very "boat like". Enjoyed the stay, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. If you want to see what it is like to stay on a typical barge boat, with small berths to sleep in, this is a chance to do it without committing to a week or so riding canals. I enjoyed the novelty, and good breakfasts!

Everything was great. The breakfast was copious and we could use the coffee machine all day which is massively appreciated! The room was perfect, and the owners were super friendly and accommodating.

The location was perfect, right near central station and a few minutes walk to the Center. The staff were really accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was amazing ! Overall a great experience. Definitely would stay here again :))

Cabin was small

The owner/stuff were very friendly and polite. The room was clean The boat is located a few minutes walk from the central train station.

The cabin was not what I expected, although I ve stayed to similar hotel/boats in the past. We were given cabin No 1, which is situated right under the stair leading from the upper deck into thereception desk and dinning room. That meant, a huge bulk, being the back side of the stairs, occupying half the room. In fact, we had half a room only to use

Die sehr zentrale Lage und das freundliche Personal. Das Frühstück war auch ausreichend. Preis- Leistung perfekt! Muss man mal ausprobiert haben.

Maravillosa la atención del personal, muy cercanos y facilitando siempre resolver dudas o cualquier cuestión para facilitar la estancia. El desayuno muy completo y hay café, té y agua disponible todo el día. La ubicación es muy buena, sin estar en el meollo de Ámsterdam pero muy cerca a pie (15 minutos al centro). Está a 10 minutos de la estación central, ideal si llegas en tren del aeropuerto y si contratas algu a excursión porque salen de ahí. Muy recomendable.

Wir waren für fünf Nächte in einer niedlichen Koje, die mit allem ausgestattet war, was es braucht, um gut ausgeruht nach einem sehr guten Frühstück mit dem weltbesten Kaffee in den Grachtengürtel Amsterdams zu starten. Die Atmosphäre an Bord ist super herzlich und familiär, wir wurden mit hilfreichen Infos und am letzten Tag wegen unserer frühen Abreise mit einem üppigen Lunchpaket versorgt und liebevoll verabschiedet. Besser hätten wir nicht ins neue Jahe starten können 💜!

It was about a 10-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station, and from there we were able to walk pretty much everywhere in the city center. The staff were very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was really nice and more than enough, and you can have coffee, tea and other hot drinks 24/7. The rooms were warm and cozy — overall, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

El trato del personal y el desayuno...excelentes... la habitación y el baño son pequeños, algo obvio para el camarote de un barco, pero es una experiencia muy chula, algo diferente a lo habitual...

Я влюбилась в это место. Очень оригинально, впервые был опыт такого формата отель. Приветливый персонал, вкусный завтрак. Все объяснили по достопримечательностям города и где можно вкусно поесть. Рекомендую

We loved the breakfast so much. Beautifully presented and very yummy. The service by Krzyzsztof and Romek was amazing. The bathroom and bedroom were small but clean and well maintained, such a clever hotel!!!!! The location was very good, walkable to everywhere

Me escribieron un mail para decirme que podíamos dejar allí las maletas después del Check out hasta la hora del vuelo pero luego nos dijeron que no.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service an Bord. Sehr gutes Frühstück, Kaffee und Wasser rund um die Uhr gratis verfügbar. Insgesamt eine äußerst angenehme Atmosphäre.

Manche Gäste müssen früh morgens einfach mit einem Höllenlärm aufbrechen. Etwas Rücksicht täte allen gut. Aber da kann ja der Gastgeber echt nichts dafür.

Our host Christopher was very welcoming, provided lovely breakfasts and helped with looking after our bags post checkout. Tea and Coffee availability throughout the day was also very welcome.

The rooms are a little small, but that's to be expected on a boat.
