Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The room was small but lovely - as it is featured on the pictures - with a nice view overlooking farm and the water. Our host was very kind and welcoming, showing us around the house and our room and asking us what we would like for breakfast (she provided us with a list of things we could choose from). The room was comfortable enough for our overnight stay. The breakfast was very tasty, homemade scones, bread and pancakes, alongside jams, fruit and delicious coffee.
There are not many things to mention apart from a suggestion for an upgrade of the bathroom which was quite old and some things -like the mirror light- did not work.

Einfache aber ordentliche Ausstattung, sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die stets ein hervorragendes Frühstück serviert hat. Der wunderbare Ort Kenmare ist ca. 6km entfernt, sodass man für einen Restaurantbesuch immer das Auto benötigt. Kenmare bietet aber alles was man braucht.

Nothing really. I would suggest if you are traveling with large bags to book early and request a ground floor unit. But if none available I’d still recommend staying.

Geraldine war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Frühstück inkl. der selbstgebackenen Scones eine 12/10. Das Badezimmer war klein, aber fein und sehr sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Jeden Morgen hat sie uns mit frischen Scones, Kuchen und Brot verwöhnt – alles selbst gebacken. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wunderschön, die Zimmer groß, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet.

L’accoglienza è stata veramente ottima e tutti gli ambienti sono molto personalizzati con armonia. La colazione è ottima con tutti prodotti fatti freschi dalla signora .
Per essere proprio pignolo essendo arrivati in moto la salita sterrata per accedere e’ un po’ ripida ma con un po’ di attenzione si sale.

Het ontbijt was enorm lekker en de gastvrouw was enorm vriendelijk en hielp zelf met ons een lift te geven naar het dorp om onze reis verder te zetten. 'S avonds gaf ze ons ook de tip om Fish and Chips te halen bij een kraampje niet ver van het verblijf en op te eten op de pier. Een echte Ierse activiteit waarvoor we haar enorm dankbaar zijn dat ze ons dit heeft aangeraden!
