The amazing breakfast, beautiful garden and, above all, the incredibly warm and welcoming service. The owner was wonderful — so helpful, friendly and genuinely caring. I felt like I was staying with family rather than at a hotel. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The whole place has such a peaceful, homely atmosphere and was the perfect place to relax and reset.

Very nice and cosy resort at a very good price, decent location as well with Paliton beach about a 5 - 10 minute walk away and several good restaurants within walking distance too. All the staff and manager were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the weather during my stay of three nights wasn't too great with periods of heavy rain, I was provided with an umbrella which was greatly appreciated and with the offer of something to eat in the evening if the heavy rain persisted and prevented me from venturing out for dinner. Room was nice and spacious with a balcony and comfortable bed and a big modern TV. Also plenty of options to choose from for breakfast, I had fruit and oatmeal every morning, very delicious :-p It is small resort so not really anything to do there aside from basic relaxation but makes an excellent base for going out and exploring. Would stay again.

Ontzettend vriendelijk Filipijnse vrouw en mooie locatie en erg rustige omgeving, eerste keer op deze locatie maar ga hier echt weer heen.

Yvette and her teambisan are great hosts. The breakfast is good and the help with the motorbikes is great. The location is perfect because it’s in the outskirts of the noisy San Juan but still very close. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean. We spent five nights and were very happy with our vacation there

Plutôt une remarque : l’hôtel n’est pas en centre ville, donc il est nécessaire d’être véhiculé (voiture ou scooter) pour bouger et accéder aux restaurants, ou sinon il faut prendre un tuk-tuk.

We kregen een warm welkom We hebben genoten van de rust en de hygiene was perfect alles wat schoon netjes en modern. De tour de we aangeboden kregen was heel leuk en een aanrader de chaffeur is heel vriendelijk echt een lieverd!

Nous sommes arrivés tardivement pour réserver 3 nuits dans cet hôtel et l'accueil a été chaleureux. Une chambre nous a été proposée de suite. L'établissement est propre et moderne et les équipements sont de haute qualité. Nous nous y sentions bien. A quelques minutes en scooter de San Juan. Petits déjeuners excellents et copieux.

Overpriced... For the price we paid we expected higher standards like change towel more often, lamp near the bed etc. There are no facilities in the "resort" except for a small restaurant with a limited menu. It's 10-15 minutes walk to the beach or other restaurants

Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt auf Siquijor. Die Zimmer sind wirklich wunderschön gestaltet, sehr sauber und man merkt, dass viel Wert auf Details gelegt wird. Besonders die Anlage selbst ist ein echtes Highlight – sie ist unglaublich schön bepflanzt, sehr gepflegt und schafft eine richtig entspannte, tropische Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich dort schnell wohl und kann die Umgebung sehr genießen.

Der Service wirkte insgesamt noch nicht eingespielt. Teilweise hatte man das Gefühl, dass Abläufe nicht ganz klar sind oder dass es deutlich an Erfahrung und Training im Servicebereich fehlt. Gerade für ein Hotel, das sonst so schön gestaltet ist, wäre hier noch deutliches Potenzial nach oben. Auch das Frühstück hat uns leider enttäuscht. Der Cappuccino war im Grunde nur Wasser mit Pulver gemischt und hatte wenig mit einem richtigen Cappuccino zu tun. Der French Toast war ebenfalls nicht gut – im Prinzip nur Toastbrot in Ei gebraten und leider sehr weich und etwas lapprig. Besonders in Anbetracht des Preises, den man für dieses Hotel zahlt, finden wir, dass ein Frühstück in dieser Qualität einfach nicht dem Niveau des Hauses entspricht. Hier würden wir uns deutlich mehr Qualität und Liebe zum Detail wünschen.

We had a truly perfect stay at Tambisan Resort. The entire property is beautifully maintained, very peaceful, and spotlessly clean – the perfect place to relax. Our rooms were super cute and decorated with so much attention to detail. We felt comfortable right away. A special mention goes to the amazing staff: incredibly friendly, warm, and always up for a laugh. We were greeted by name every single time, which made the whole experience feel very personal and welcoming. It was also very convenient to rent a scooter directly at the hotel. On the day of our departure, we were even taken to the ferry by tuk-tuk – such a thoughtful and appreciated service. We can fully recommend Tambisan Resort without any hesitation. There is absolutely nothing to complain about, and we would definitely come back anytime!

The room is very comfortable, breakfast is good, and the staff is helpful. The location is perfect.

Unfortunately we could not come the first night as all ferries and transport got cancelled due to a storm, it was quite tedious to communicate with the owner and get everything in order.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention goes into maintaining both - the beautiful garden and the rooms. We received a very warm welcome along with a refreshing welcome drink and immediately felt at home. The garden, with its wide variety of plants, was a real eye-catcher during the day and at night with its colorful ambient lighting. The breakfast was plentiful. We especially enjoyed the avocado toast and the freshly made pancakes. We also rented a very nice Honda motorbike through the accommodation, which allowed us to conveniently explore and even circle the island within about two hours. The bed was comfortable and we were able to sleep very well throughout our stay. The nearby Paliton Beach can be reached within a 20 minute walk and is perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the resort and enjoyed learning more about the Philippines. We can definitely recommend this resort and wish the entire team continued success and many happy guests in the future.

Dir Anlage ist sehr neu. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, geräumig und super sauber. Die Mitarbeiter bemühen sich sehr. Besonders Joy hat uns sehr geholfen, hat Mietroller und TukTuk organisiert und war sehr freundlich und warmherzig.

The staff was so kind. They took care of me when i was nog well. They have great breakfast and the room is super clean and comfortable. They also cleaned our room after one day. The garden is pretty!

We payed almost 100 euro per night which is a bit much when there is no pool and no direct access to the beach. But we really liked our stay.

A quiet and comfortable hotel with a good level of cleanliness. The bed is excellent, towels and bed linen are good quality and fresh — no unpleasant chemical smells. The air conditioner works quietly, which made the stay especially comfortable. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Joyce, Kent, and Glysa — you really made the stay better. Recommended for anyone who values comfort and peace.

The stay did not reflect the high price paid. Communication and service were inconsistent, and a compensation discussed in advance was not clearly honored on site. Overall value for money was poor for the rate charged.

Minor thing but wardrobe doors are a bit dangerous as they fall out of place off runners. Need properly securing to prevent injury.

Den sidste dag var der ingen vand og strømmen gik om natten så de måtte strakte en generator som larmede virkelig meget.

De locatie was top. De kamer was prettig met een grote smart tv.

Het ontbijt (hoewel vers) is echt ondermaats. Geen zwembad of plek waar je buiten kan chillen. En absoluut niet geluiddicht, al wordt hier wel mee geadverteerd.

We give our stay a 10/10. Hands down the best hotel during our trip. In comparison to other hotels, it might seem a bit pricier at first, but it’s well worth paying for all the extra’s you get. The differences are in the little details: super soft bed linnen, a beautiful and well maintained garden, a warm shower, a variety of breakfast options, fancy tableware and always cold water on your table whenever you sit down in the hotel restaurant. It’s all quality and adds to a luxurious vibe! We especially want to thank Venus for making sure are the details were right. You made our stay an elevated experience because of your next level hospitality. We really appreciated your pumpkin soup when we arrived at the hotel and in general, how you made us feel like we were at warm, welcoming home. We also want to thank Joyce for her tasty breakfast and generous portions.

Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und es wird einem die Ankunft durch kleine Aufmerksamkeiten versüßt. Bei der Ankunft erhielten wir frisches Obst und die Zimmerausstattung beinhaltete Gesichtsmasken und kleine Snacktüten. Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem Personal: Venus war hervorragend vorbereitet und stand uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Auch Ken möchten wir herzlich grüßen – Sie beide waren einfach super! Die Lage ist ideal: Mit einem gemieteten Roller 400 peso/day ist man in nur vier Minuten am schönen Strand, zu Fuß benötigt man etwa 20 Minuten. Abends wurde uns als kleiner Imbiss immer eine frische Kürbissuppe serviert. ( kostenlos)Dies war stets ein köstlicher und sehr geschätzter Abschluss des Tages. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir empfanden die Unterkunft zwar als etwas überteuert, aber der Service und die Qualität waren hervorragend. Einzig im Bad wünschen wir uns mehr Ablagefläche; hierfür gab es leider kaum Möglichkeiten. Abfluss roch leider.. kann man aber auf den Philippinen (noch) nicht anders machen.

The staff was very kind and helpful, and the resort was very peaceful. The location was 100m from the main road so you do not hear the tuktuks or scooters and you just hear the wind and nature.

The only thing that was just not great was the internet unfortunately. The mobile data was out of range and the Wi-Fi was pretty bad going on and off it seemed like, and when it was on it was slow. But other than that very nice place

Der Manager hat sich persönlich darum gekümmert, dass es dem Gast um nichts fehlt. Das zubereitete Frühstück war sehr lecker. Das ganze Team ist sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage leise und funktionierte einwandfrei. Die ganze Hotelanlage war in einem sauberen Zustand. Man kann direkt im Hotel einen Roller zu normalen Konditionen erhalten. Es ist ebenfalls eine gute Ausgangsposition für die umgehenden Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Anlage ist ebenfalls sicher! Sollten wir wieder nach Siquijor kommen, dann würden wir das Hotel erneut besuchen.

Das einzige, was vielleicht zu verbessern wäre: Wenn schon inklusive Frühstück, dass die kleinen Extras, wie z.B. Saft am Morgen, nicht extra berechnet werden.

The room is very spacious, clean and cozy. The bed,pillows and linens were soft and comfortable. They have indoor slipper and bathrobes provided perfect when you just want to lounge around the room.

The included breakfast was ok but it really took a while for them to prepare it, we just tried it once and we never had breakfast again in the hotel again as we have to go to the spots we wanted to explore early which is a bit far from the hotel, They should've prepared prior to the start of breakfast schedule or they could have asked the guests to advanced order a the night before including the time expected for the food to be served, to avoid long waits for the guest and as well wasting ingredients if thats what they are worried about.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful resort. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The owner is nothing short of extraordinary! Warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about making every guest feel at home. Her hospitality truly elevated the entire experience. The staff were equally fantastic. They were kind, helpful, and always smiling. A special shoutout to the breakfast chef, who prepared an amazing breakfast every single morning. It was the perfect way to start each day: fresh, delicious, and made with care. The location is ideal, just a 15 minute walk to the beach, close enough to enjoy the sea whenever you like, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet at night. The area felt safe and serene. The room and facilities were exactly as shown in the photos: clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. It’s always such a relief when a place looks exactly like what you booked. Every detail was spot on. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, kindness, and authenticity, this is it.

Our stay at Tambisan Resort was incredible experience. The room was absolutely beautiful — modern, spotless, and even better than the photos online. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space, and it really shows. The staff were exceptional, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. One thing to note, which isn’t a reflection on the hotel itself: Siquijor is currently facing island-wide power outages, and during our stay, the electricity would go out for several hours a day (sometimes up to 10 hours). Since the water supply relies on the power, there were times it would cut out mid-shower. However, the staff handled the situation wonderfully, bringing us water and doing everything they could to make the inconvenience manageable. Despite this, our overall stay was fantastic, and I would absolutely recommend Tambisan Resort to anyone visiting Siquijor. The service, rooms, and overall experience more than made up for the temporary challenges.

A wonderful boutique resort in Siqijour. Clean and very comfortable room with excellent maid service. Joyce cooks a very tasty breakfast. Tuk tuk ride into the centre was very useful and the drivers were respectful and kind. Scooters are also available to rent. The roads are safe and the locals helpful and friendly Laundry service is also available at a very good price and our clothes were laundered well leaving them smell delightful. Within walking distance to a lovely beach with locals selling Long Island iced teas for a very cheap price. Water is warm and clear. Absolutely breathtaking

This hotel is very well maintained, the rooms were lovely and modern. The host was amazing and extremely helpful, she took our breakfast order every day and this was cooked to perfection. She also helped us to rent bikes and organise transport to the ferry port.

The facility was quite new so the furniture was in good condition, the AC worked really well, the rooms were very clean and bed was comfy, we had a balcony which was fantastic to have a cup of coffee on in the mornings. Beaches were very close using a scooter, the location was perfect just off the main road and away from bars but very easy to get to bars and restaurants close by. The staff were so welcoming, a big shout out to Joy who made us breakfast every morning whit her bright smile (thank you Joy for giving us a great start to our day) and of course the guard who was there to welcome us every time we returned from our adventures.

There was nothing to dislike - but my word of advice is to ensure you keep on top of the service of the building Eg: tap fittings, shower areas, tiles, furniture, doors and windows, maintain them regularly to avoid them getting destroyed in turn making the place look not so attractive, you have a pretty set up, keep it that way and people will return

Lovely breakfast, very present staff that are able to help with anything you may need, beautiful brand new rooms and very comfortable beds. Able to rent a bike from the property. Security at the gate 24/7.

This was the best stay during our whole trip in the Philippines. The wonderful hospitality of the locals made this a real experience for us. Venus, Joyce and the others made us feel like we were at home! :) I would go back any time without hesitation. Excellent value for money, brand new resort, also the location is great, not too far from the good beaches and snorkel spots. I loved the balcony for the room, the daily housekeeping, and the delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

The rooms were wonderful with great air conditioning. The rooms had comfortable chairs for relaxing in as well as the deck chairs. They had a dresser for your clothes and a mini fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

It was a 10-15 minute scooter ride to the beach.

The room itself was clean, but the outside space was a bit dirty. We had to wait for the breakfast for 45 minutes, while we were in a hurry to get to the harbour. The waffles we got were undercooked, completly pale and raw inside. The bacon on the other hand was cold. Overall ok experience, but lots of space for improvement.

We were very warmly welcomed and the staff is extremely nice. Regarding the hotel facility, it's a very calm and maintained place with comfortable and light rooms. There is a beach close by and the city of San Juan, which consists more or less of a huge number of restaurants and bars, can be reached quickly. Breakfast was excellent. You could choose between several options. Waffles were delicious.

Really clean and helpful staff

The hotel is modern, nice and clean. Apart from the beautiful rooms, the service is outstanding and all staff members try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest.

It was a fantastic stay at Tambisan. The staff are all very nice and helpful, always greeting you with a "hello" and a big smile on their faces. They helped us book a motorbike and arranged our tricycle to the ferry when we checked out. Breakfast in the morning is good and is prepared for you fresh. The rooms are very clean and we had no issues with anything. The bed is comfortable and it's nice to have a little balcony to dry towels/clothes or sit out and relax.

A couple of the breakfast options are a little on the small side for portions (only 1 egg when ordering eggs with toast).

The staff were so helpful and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

The resort is modern, nicely build, very clean, beautifully furnished and well located on Siquijor. The staff around Venus and Joyce are sweet people and made an effort to make our stay exceptional. The breakfast was the best we ever had for an included one!

This place is a hiddem gem, really well located but outside of the main road and super peaceful. The staff is just wonderful, they made our stay memorable, helped us with our luggage that airline missed and they make you feel like you are part of the family. Its a brand new place with only 8 rooms and they have plenty of staff who are always smilling, calling you by your name and willing to help in any situation you need. Breakfast is very good and freshly prepared on demand with fresh fruits, cooked items and great coffee. Honestly we were more than surprised, anywhere else this place would have costed twice or 3 times more. Cant wait to go back

I was not given any information on check in, Owners cannot speak good English. Gave me the wrong room but they did rectify it when I told them I had booked a double with balcony. Breakfast was minimal and the hashbrowns cold/not defrosted. There was a light outside window at night just above the bed that didn't turn off and was very disruptive/no curtains to hide it. The pics of beach are not accurate.. it's a 20min walk + a fee to enter the closet beach (Paliton) they make it seem like you can walk straight onto the beach from the room Ran to the room to check it as if i was a criminal, when I checked out This was the most expensive room I stayed in on Siqujior and it was my least favourite. Not worth the money imo.

Everything is super clean and new AC is working great&silent! They really thought about the lay-out ans design of the room. Breakfast is tastefull and different choices.

They are still finetuning the hotel, at this moment nothing to mention here!
