מקום עם אווירה ממש נעימה ומזמינה ומרגיעה! מראה מתוק ואומנותי! בקתות קש יפות והרבה אומנות ויצירה בסביבה! ממש ממש נוח שיש מסעדה במקום! ועוד יותר- שהאוכל ממש טעים!!

הבקתה עצמה (הייתי בבקתה בגודל שני) הרגישה לי צפופה וחסר מרחב להרגיש נעים להיות סתם לשהיה בבקתה. צפיפות יחסית בין בקתה אחת לשניה. הרבה תרנגולים בסביבה שמרעישים כבר מאמצע הלילה- לא תלוי ספציפית בגסטהאוס, אבל כן השפיע על החוויה. ביחס לתקופה שבה הייתי (אוגוסט) המיקום קרוב לחוף, אבל חוף קטן ובזמן הזה הכניסה למים לא נעימה כלכך...אז הרגשתי שאני יחסית מרוחקת. אבל אולי גם לא מספיק יצא לי להכיר את הסביבה ולגלות בה דברים נוספים.

They need to explain more about only been veagan. And the hut size is cery misleading

אין מיזוג אוויר , היה לי קשה להירדם בחום. מסעדה יקרה להחריד. השכרת קטנוע יקרה יחסית לאי, בנוסף, גם על חצי יום חייבו אותי כמו יום שלם. ולא נתנו הנחה על שלושה ימים של השכרת הקטנוע. ועוד, נתנו לי מפתח קטנטן לחדר ללא מחזיק מפתחות בגודל של פחות מ 1 פזו. אבדתי אותו בתיק כי הוא כל כך קטן. ודרשו ממני 500 פזו. מנעול קטן מעפן כזה עולה בשוק 10 פזו. 500 פזו שפשוט נלקחו סתם , תרומה למקום.

The concept is super cool and I love the communial area. Nice and quiet.

For my property I felt like while it was nicely set up but not very living-friendly for more than 2 days. Room gets really hot, abit too dim to see and find stuff and maybe due to the nature of the setup it's also abit dam and stuffy, unless you open the door but then's no privacy.

Dicht bij de natuur, de sfeer, de locatie! Er waren spelletjes aanwezig je bent dicht bij de zee maar ook bij de stad! Top!

It was fantastic to mix with the young volunteers. I enjoyed the yoga and communal dinners. Well done to Wonderland for organising this.

Leuke sfeer, goede locatie, grappige ervaring in het hutje en je kan er ook eten en leuk zitten. Ook hele lieve katjes!!

Ik vond het wel duur voor wat je krijgt. Voornamelijk omdat wij echt heel veel last hadden van het geluid. Dit kan deels ook zijn omdat wij aankwamen in het weekend, en na een paar dagen waren wij iets meer gewend, maar achter de slaapplek wonen mensen die vaak aan het poolen waren. Dit hoorden wij heel goed in ons huisje. Ook klonk het alsof de koeien en kippen van hun echt naast je stonden. Dus daar moet je echt tegen kunnen. Ze geven je wel oordoppen, maar helaas kwam het geluid er alsnog flink doorheen. Maar als je een diepe slaper bent is het geen probleem! Verder een keer geen water gehad, maar dat lag aan werkzaamheden.

Quiet, chill. Amazing stuff. Great restaurant. Really highlight of my travel in Philippines.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, l'ambiance et les volontaires sont très sympathiques.

Nous avions un studio avec balcon mais nous avons eu des problèmes d'eau dans la salle de bain durant environ 4 jours, ce qui nous a contraints à nous rendre dans les communs à plusieurs reprises. L'environnement est également assez bruyant la nuit avec la présence d'animaux dans le voisinage, ce qui rend le repos difficile.

Les logements sont originaux et propres, l’endroit est relaxant, nourriture très bonne

J’ai beaucoup apprécié tout le personnel. Les plats du restaurant végé étaient tous excellents! L’emplacement est convivial, un très bel environnement ainsi que de la bonne musique. Aussi très bien situé avec paliton beach à quelques pas et d’autres excellents restaurants à proximité.

Très peu de pression d’eau pour la douce tôt le matin, voir même pas d’eau pour me laver tôt le matin.

L'ambiance est géniale, la déco vraiment chouette et bungalow franchement pas mal et la nourriture très bonne.

Je rejoins les avis de plusieurs personnes, les bénévoles ne sont pas vraiment présents. Ils restent ensemble, ne sont pas très inclusifs, un peu dommage pour un logement qui propose des activités et ce type d'ambiance

Just one golden tip: earplugs to sleep. <3 for the chickens, but they're loud.

The place itself is undeniably beautiful and has a very strong nature-focused vibe. If you’re someone who enjoys being immersed in the outdoors, you’ll probably appreciate the setting. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. The food is fully vegan, and I have to say it was tasty great if you’re vegan or open to that kind of cuisine.

That said, comfort was a big challenge for me. The cabins are very open and exposed to the environment, which means a lot of insects come in at night. Even with a mosquito net, I still had ants and other bugs around while sleeping. There’s also no air conditioning, and the heat can be intense, especially at night. Combined with bedding that isn’t the most comfortable or breathable, it made it hard to rest properly.

Need to consider location if you don’t have a bike/ don’t want to spend money on tricycles. It is walking distance to the beach, but not walking distance from San Juan centre (where most restaurants and bars are)

Really beautifully maintained with lovely simple but cosy nips just (with an option for the bigger bungalows which looked awesome) Lovely eco ethos and absolutely delicious clean healthy food that made me come back even after I’d checked out. The staff were so kind and caring and remembered my name and when I was poorly they went out of this way to make me more comfortable. They seem to be happy too which is a-nice thing to acknowledge in hospitality. The gardens are beautiful and the option of workshops is great to have in hand. The beach near by is beautiful. I want to positively encourage this resort and the projects it has and wish there were more like it. Especially for the young backpackers/volunteers who were clearly finding a safe space to be in the tropics but yet still make meaningful connections, learn skills in a safe inclusive place.

I think an outdoor space with hammocks or loungers would be amazing. I eventually cut my stay short as it was so hot and I felt a bit claustrophobic and needed somewhere were I could lay and read my book in the sun or under the stars. It’s a short ride to the beach of course but all i really I needed was a hammock in the sun. The nipa huts are very cosy but very small and super hot and I needed somewhere to stretch out in the mornings. This is not necessary a criticism just something for people who are not volunteers to observe…there is a bit of a disconnect between volunteers and guests, especially older travellers. Although everyone was polite, it was the first place I’ve stayed in where I felt a little bit out of place due to my age. It’s a very specific demographic. I’d encourage my teenage daughter to come but not necessarily my middle aged friends for example. and although the communal area is free for all after midday it does feel a bit cliquey and awkward to walk into and use. Also be aware the volunteer workshops start at 7am and can be very noisy.

Huts are overpriced for the space you get, they get too hot in the morning and you can hear the volunteers blasting music early morning

We had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience at this hotel. It was uncomfortable and did not feel safe at all. Because of this, we stayed only one night out of the six nights we had originally booked. The staff promised that we would receive a refund for the unused nights, but this has not happened. We are still waiting, and there has been no proper follow-up. Overall, the experience was stressful and far below expectations. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.

Das Hostel liegt 10 Gehminuten vom nächsten Strand. Die Säfte waren unglaublich gut und die Einrichtung war extrem gemütlich. Generell war es ein enorm schönes Ambiente mitten in der Natur und ich bin selten so gerne aufgestanden. Leider hatte ich nur ein paar wenige Tage dort, ich werde definitiv nochmal herkommen und dann auch länger bleiben!

Das Moskitonetz bei den Betten liess sich nicht ganz „schliessen“. Es war also stets einen Spalt offen, ausser man stopft es mühsam unter die Matratze, was beim nächsten hinausgehen aber auch wieder dahin ist. Es ist definitiv kein soziales Hostel.

Ik had een aparte hut. Niet gezien dat er geen airco was en dus relatief heet. Had een lekkage midden in de nacht waardoor het bed zeiknat werd. De volgende dag was er in de ochtend geen water. Hou er ook rekening mee dat het een verblijf is dat alleen vegetarisch op de kaart heeft.

Super séjour au Wonderland! Propre, cocooning, bien situé (il faut tout de même forcément un scooter pour explorer l’île) mais l’hôtel en propose à la location Restaurant très bon (only végétarien) Personnel au top.

Juste une chose : les coqs hurlent toutes la nuit juste à côté des cabanes…

Wonderland is the most magical place I’ve visited! We stayed in one of the two person huts with our own bathroom/shower. We loved our room and found it very comfortable and clean, the outdoor showers have hot water as well. The main area is a great place to hangout and the food is excellent! Some of our favorites on the menu were the smoothie bowls, tacos, and chia pudding. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and there is a great sense of community. They have morning and evening activities each day that are free to join. Paliton Beach is just a 5-10 minute walk and there are a lot of great restaurants also in walking distance.

Its secluded from downtown, so without bike you are far away to get to restaurant's etc. Little boracay is close by. Rooms have only Fan. So it can get warm inside of the hut. I had some bed bugs unfortunately but we changed hut and I was then okay. . I had one night a twin room which is more spacious and that's very beneficial if you have a lot luggage. However its dear in proce for what you get. The twin room had only fairy lights!!Absolutely crazy to pack your backoack or to read with just one light for a bigger room! Shower heads have little pressure just you know to be mentally prepared once u shower. There is a lot potential to upgrade for that pricing Community and ppl are very good. Also no grab available on that island

great idea for the houses and activities

the toilet door damaged the fingers of 2 of us. 3 days over 3 the water was missing for 30m / 1h. roosters going close to the people sleeping in the morning (keep them away at least!), install a sound barrier, shower outlet to be changed. location is not central with other restaurants/pubs nor very close to the beach

We had an amazing stay at Wonderland. This hostel is a good balance between being social and relaxed. The staff were all very welcoming and Rev in particular stood out being kind and helpful in the restaurant.

I had a fabulous stay at Wonderland in Siquijor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting with motorbike rentals and transfers, which made everything easy. The food was especially amazing and the fresh juices too! Sleeping in a hut was such a unique and enjoyable experience, and everything was very well run. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siquijor.

Great location close to Paliton Beach (10min walking). Nice & green environment. Restaurant is also really good with a lot of tasty vegan options. Common area is large and very cozy to spend time there.

It’s impossible to sleep at night. Wonderland is located in nature but they don’t do anything with the dogs or chickens that get into the property so it’s impossible to sleep.

Wonderland is een erg leuk verblijf op Siquijor. De hut met buitendouche was erg mooi. De locatie is top. Meerdere keren gegeten bij het restaurant en dat was erg lekker en gezond eten. Er werd vanalles georganiseerd aan activiteiten en je kan ook spelletjes spelen of poolen.

Very close from this wonderful beach called Paliton Beach ! One of the best I ve been in the Philippines

Un endroit insolite, propre, le personnel adorable comme partout ou nous avons été reçu. A côté vous avez un espace un peu communautaires, ou vous pouvez cuisiner et partager avec les résidents. Je le recommande vivement les cabanes sont exceptionnelles. 🙏🏻 pour tout.

The vibe of the hostel is great, kind of hippie. They offer a lot of workshops and some activities (only weekdays). The Restaurant is really good and all vegetarian. The huts are very cute and the common area is big, many chill people hang out there. You have a fan in your hut, which is totally fine and the mattres is comfy. Only downside was that there was loud music sometimes early in the morning (6/7 am).

Water dispenser was a bit far away from the huts.
