JeeHaa Homestay

The location. The cleanliness. The room. Everything was perfect.

Some friend of Freddy shouting in the middle of the night to let him in. Not acceptable.

It's a comfortable stay close to the beach and clean room at a less price. Friendly atmosphere

The location is good plus owner is tooo friendly and helpful

Small cute homestay on the beach. Since it's low season the rooftop isn't maintained and functional. The owner of the homestay is nice and gentle. He has helpful and understandable nature to guide you accordingly. I want to experience this place during season time where more activities and people come.

I wouldn't take his kayaking recommendation as it costs more and not the best Kayaking guide. I would also not take his Auto(tuk tuk)recommendation as I can get better price outside. I told the owner about this and he took it positively. Hope he works on these both. I wanted to travel by local bus but they are very far from the homestay so had to spend money on tuktuk.

Amazing stay! Fredy was the best! The location is great, right by the beach. The common areas are very nice (kitchen, living room, garden and cafe on top - just not during monsoon time). Boy (the dog) is the cutest. It was easy to arrange backwater tours.

Unforgettable moments we make !! Thanks for amazing home stay !! People's nd pets are too polite and friendly 😉 we enjoyed very Well ... 🤩✨ 11/10

Very helpful staff. Relaxing environment. Great budget stay! Nice neighbourhood.

Accueil excellent : de bons échanges culturels, réservation à très bons prix d'une sortie dans les backwaters, réservation de tickets de train sans charge. Emplacement idéal en bord de mer, et dans un quartier de pêcheurs, rooftop avec vue sur mer.

Rien

Host is a good person

Had 3 lizards in my room. Only book if you are looking for a budget stay

The host cancelled within 24 hours of my arrival

It’s honestly a very nice place to stay around a very quiet neighbourhood. The room was clean and the host was always happy to help. The room can get very hot due to lack of AC and it’s a little big humid inside.

The location is great. Nice rooftop- very chilled etc! They also have a fridge that can keep your beers cold! Fabulous vibe!

Nothing to note.

De lokatie,de hosts,de sfeer,het uitzicht

Amazing place where to stay! As soon as you step through the door you feel home. I was feeling so cosy during my stay. Aseem and Freddy they are super nice and always ready to help. The food is really good and you can feel it’s prepare with a lot of love. The rooftop with sea view is a nice place where to chill. My room was comfortable and super clean.

Best place/vibe in allapey. Massage and soundhealing recommended there

Alles was geweldig

It pulls you in like a big warm blanket. Just fabulous in every way. The guys who run it are the real magical ingredient but it seems to attract lovely guests because of this. I was very sad to leave. Great breakfast, great coffee, lovely roof terrace. GREAT AMBIENCE. Right on the beach. Unbelievable value for money.

Leaving. I wouldn't be able to find a negative.

The host and the energy was beautiful.

That I left :(

We loved Aseem and his hospitality. The place has such a lovely vibe and great location, we even extended by 1 night. Aseem was very knowledgable and helped us out with our next stop in India.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. We liked the interior decoration and spent a lot of the time on the rooftop and beach. The host Aseem is very kind and made our time there even better. It’s a very good hostel for anyone who just wants to have a great time. Thanks! :)

I loved it here! Cute little homestay, located in a quiet area right by the beach - Aseem and the team are such gems, they make you feel incredibly welcome, and helped me to organise a tour of the backwaters! There's a lovely rooftop terrace with sea views, and they serve great coffee!

Hosts were lovely and helped me book kayaking, thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Close to beach. Host was friendly and cooperative. Calm atmosphere.

My father, who is 60 years old, traveled alone, stayed there, and very much enjoyed the stay. The owners were so friendly. He liked everything about the place. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

It was lovely staying at JeeHaa! The room was very nice: clean, smelled lovely, colorful and had everything we needed. The location is also good: right in front of the beach and next to restaurants and cafes. Hannah and Fredy gave us some super useful advice! Thanks guys, it was great to meet you!

Nothing

Amazing location right on the beach. Best way to start your day meditating and practicing yoga. Kind and warm hosts. Being able to use a kitchen, fridge, etc, is a very kind gesture. India can get really hot, and there is nothing better than being able to have some cold fruit like watermelon straight from the fridge. Or ur cold water and drinks. Sometimes you want to make ur own meal, like a refreshing salad when you don't feel like eating out. So, being able to prepare it yourself using a kitchen makes your stay way more comfortable. Not every homestay gives you this flexibility. So this was a huge plus. Thank you

Honestly, there's nothing to say here! They mention that they are thinking about investing in a few bicycles so that guests can rent. Please do it, it will be really helpful and add a lot of value to your business. Wishing all the success! Namaste 🙏

You know that moment when you're drowning in endless options, unsure where to go? That was me—until I chose Jeeha. And what a decision it was. Nestled right by the beach, this place is pure peace. Fredy and his partner are the kind of hosts who don’t just offer a room—they offer warmth, care, and a home-like feeling. Everything is neat, thoughtful, and filled with good vibes. Jeeha isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience that makes you feel like you never left home

The location is next to the beach. Best for beach goers. The staff Freddie is very helpful and friendly

Freddie and Hannah are warm friendly kind happy to help with all you may need. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Their motto "arrive as guests leave as buddies" certainly is true. Thank you Freddie and Hannah for all that you did for us and your other guests. Maybe see you in July in Wales Love Caroline and Max 🤩

Nothing to dislike every part of our stay ran smoothly

The hosts were very kind and had a friendly demeanor. The place was clean and peaceful, with access to the kitchen and refrigerator. Whenever I return to Alappuzha, I will definitely stay here again.

We had a really nice stay here, it was close to the beach and the host was really nice. Great value for money!

The rooms are comfortable, there is a kitchen which is helpful, the terrace has an ocean view & the owner is super helpful

JeeHaa Homestay has been one of my favourite places I have stayed in India! Freddie the host is an incredible human with the most warm, relaxing energy. He is super kind and helpful! The room was very comfortable and location is great, only 1 minute walk to the beach. Great cafes and resteraunts near by. Stay here for the most relaxing, homely vibe. I'll definitely stay again next time😊

It was a warm welcome and immediately feeling home at JeeHaa. It was such a cozy vibe and the room was clean and had all the facilities we wanted. Freddy helped us with planning a day and in the evening there were lovely conversations. We also could do some morning exercises on the roof. Also really loved Boy the dog. We will definitely book this place again!

It was just awesome :)

"The host was very friendly and very cool. The stay was in front of the beach. The room was very clean."

The homestay is located close to the beach. But it is about 3 kms away from city center. The owner helped us with the contact numbers for the boat trip and autorickshaw

The setting was poor. The place is just a room in a house. Although it is called JeeHaa BnB, there is no breakfast option. There is no hot water to shower. We were told to pick up hot water from another bathroom outside the house. There was always someone sleeping in the living room and it was not comfortable to move in and out. There was only a narrow parking space for the car. Once we parked the car with great difficulty, we didn't have the courage to drive it out.

The host was excellent, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach!

Hospitality honest guy

Everything went good, nice location near the beach, no mosquitoes in the room, clean and provided anything needed.

Good a/c

Quite isolated, house not very tidy, mosquitoes in bedroom.

The owners are really nice. We even had lunch with them at a local and authentic restaurant. They also organzied a Backwater Tour for us, that was more private and relaxed, then the big touristic tours. We were only 3 persons in a Kanu. Therefore we could reach all the small canals. The homestay ist just next to the beach, where you can have a nice walk or swim. Good restaurants or cafes are also close by.

There is no uber or similar in the city, so you pay more for the taxi if you want to go or leave the beach area. The bus from Kochi can you drop off 2km from the beach area.

The host was very friendly and very cool. He has helped us in booking shikara and auto. The stay was in front of the beach. The room was very clean.

We liked everything. We will be recommending people to stay here.

All Good things

It's a great place to stay.It was the best experience staying there.Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained. I highly recommend this JEEHAA home stay to family and friends

Family atmosphere and excellent management.

I had the pleasure of staying at a charming homestay nestled near the sea. The room was surprisingly spacious and impeccably clean. The hospitality extended by Francis and his wife was beyond compare. They anticipated and fulfilled every need, making me feel truly cared for. The highlight of my stay was the delectable Kerala cuisine they prepared - it felt like a comforting taste of home. Although I embarked on this journey solo, I'm already planning to return with friends for Onam. The value for money at JeeHaa is unmatched, considering the warm ambiance and impeccable service. Notably, they also have another homestay, just 300 meters from the seashore. The serene nights by the beautiful sea were unforgettable. Additionally, the range of activities they offered added to the overall experience. Francis and his wife were always accommodating, never saying no to any request. I can't recommend JeeHaa enough - it's a hidden gem where you'll find comfort, warmth, and genuine hospitality.

I must emphasize that I don't have a single negative thing to say about my experience at JeeHaa.
