WECO STAY Gangnam

This was my second stay at Weco Stay within a year and a half, so I was already familiar with the QR code and PIN system for accessing the property. The apartment was clean and well prepared for three people, although with three guests and luggage, space was naturally a little tight. The location is very convenient, with Nambu Bus Terminal metro station nearby and easy access to many of Seoul’s main areas and attractions. Uber easily accessible too. There is also pretty much everything you need around the property: 7-Eleven and other supermarkets, cafés and sandwich places, Olive Young just a few minutes away, and plenty of Korean BBQ and other restaurants. A particular highlight for us was the lovely French boulangerie/pâtisserie nearby! Instructions for rubbish and recycling are provided and, once you understand the system, everything works relatively smoothly. Staff are also helpful and available during their set hours. Overall, a clean, convenient and well-located option in Seoul, and the fact that this was my second stay probably says it all!

The main downside is that the property is quite self-service and there is no 24/7 reception. If you need fresh towels, toilet paper, a vacuum cleaner or other supplies, you need to follow the QR-code system or coordinate with staff during their available hours. It works once you understand it, but can feel a little complicated at first and having internet/data access is important. For longer stays, additional cleaning is chargeable (around ±USD 35 per clean), and you need to leave the apartment while it is being cleaned. Guests are also responsible for taking their own rubbish and recycling to level B2. It took us a little while to locate the recycling area initially, although it is straightforward once you know where it is. Finally, the lifts can get very busy at peak times, so occasionally there can be a bit of a wait.

Местоположение отличное . Квартира новая , чистая

Не хватает воздуха . Очень душно . В туалете воняет сигаретой . Ночью не могла заснуть . Полотенце надо поменять на белые .

Nice & clean. Spacious for family of four.

I like that it’s clean and well-maintained. There was also no visible front desk but every instruction was given clearly. I booked the property at short notice, very thankful that there was still a room left. Lots of good places to eat around too.

Nothing much. Just know that if you are a tourist with a lot of sightseeing to do, this area might not be for you. But it’s close to buses and a train station so it’s easy to get around, might just have to allot time for it.

Beds where very comfortable (we are from Australia) room is lovely, washing machine, stove, oven made our stay so convenient. Location central to restaurants and shopping. Very happy with our accommodation.

Stayed for 14 nights and only given 2 small bags for rubbish and had to buy it ourselves. You also have to sort and throw the rubbish yourself.

My favorite accommodation in Seoul! All WecoStay accommodations are well furnished and in prime locations. Their customer service is impeccable.

I have been staying with them on my business trips for 3-4years now. Their towels seem to be worn out and smelly. They need new towels or new linen service.

Amazing place to stay for shorter and longer stays in Seoul. Lots of storage space, kitchen with all needed as well as closet. Nice quite area with bus stop and metro close by walking distance. Clear and practical instruction on self check in and out. Loved the stay in this place!

We liked the size of the room, the design of the kitchenette and the bed.

The lack of signage made it hard to find where to enter. There was a sign on the glass door to the right of the building that told people to go to the right and we went around the building. So many people go to the wrong address that it has another sign telling you to go back to find the entrance to Wecostay. We didn’t like how the shower water spreads across the entire bathroom floor and took awhile to drain. With only one pair of slippers in the bathroom, it was difficult for two people to keep their feet dry while using the bathroom during the day. The instructions on how to use all the electronics were uploaded online. However, the model of our AC in the room was not what was shown on the instructions so it was abit difficult for us to figure out how to work it.

It was clean and quiet. The staff was very responsive and delivered everything we needed and more.

Studio calme, bien équipé, situé à 10 mn de marche de la station de métro Nambu bus terminal pour se rendre dans le centre de séoul et à 15 mn de marche d'un grand supermarché nommé Seocho Lotte Mart. Un remerciement particulier à ALEX pour sa gentillesse et son aide afin de répondre à nos différentes questions.

Le ménage et le tri sélectif des déchets sont à faire par le client. Concernant le tri sélectif, quelques sacs seulement (un bleu pour les déchets alimentaires et un violet pour les autres catégories) sont fournis puis le client devra aller en acheter au petit supermarché 7 Eleven situé en face de l'immeuble. L'utilisation de sacs en plastique différents n'est pas conseillé par les usages de l'établissement et ne semble pas être apprécié par le préposé au déchets auprès duquel vous devez amener les sacs pleins au sous-sol.

I didn't get my check in email properly both times that was the only issue

We strongly recommend this place to our families and friends and definitely come back again!

It would be better if there is further detail instruction of how to sort out rubbish + recycle as Korean has high standard rubbish and recycle system.

It is in close proximity to Gangnam. very close to public transportation. Lots of restaurants nearby. Not to mention, the staff is super friendly.

Spacious and stylish room with a living area and kitchenette. The bedroom has a built-in wardrobe and a nice brown glass sliding divider. Very comfortable bedding. Great walkable location near convenience stores, restaurants, bars, branded shops, and minutes from several train stations. Family-friendly area.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

It was clean, easy to check in, spacious.

Cannot fully blackout the bedroom. If there’s a family awake and using the living room lights, some light filters to the bedroom even when the bedroom door is completely closed.

Easy check in, the host was responsive. Keyless entry (Number code) so need to search for room cards. Modern interior and lighted room for each area. Heated floors/quiet controlled AC temp, kitchenette w/kitchen utensils, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer, optional breakfast (downstairs). Separate sitting area near large window and natural light was a plus! Location was away from the hustle and bustle, in a quiet area for more relaxed and recovery type of stay. Clean, comfortable, and cute! : )

WIFI was in and out - didn’t work in bathroom area. Lots of construction in front of the hotel street - lots of dust. At one point the road was blocked off - had to catch a taxi w/suitcases at the end of the street. More laundry soap (only about a cup provided), toilet paper (2.5 rolls provided) and towels (2) should be provided for longer stays. More trash bags and a new kitchen dish sponge recommended (was used). Better pillows should be available (soft and flimsy). TV entertainment subtitles could be provided for English language users.

Бронируем это место второй раз. Для нас - оч удобное расположение. Много магазинчиков и кафе. Стройка напротив закончилась, стало - ещё лучше! В прошлый раз были апартаменты с двумя спальнями, - конечно, они удобнее, но и дороже, чем односпальные. Персонал - очень доброжелательный, условия проживания гибкие при возможности. Апартаменты удобные, функциональные; есть минимум необходимого; прекрасная сантехника. Зимой - тепло - есть обогрев пола , летом - не жарко и не душно - хороший климат - контроль.

Не протирали некоторые поверхности после предыдущих постояльцев - журнальный столик, например.

Almost brand new apartment with everything facility available. Best use of the space with finely exhibited cabinets, furniture and other amenities in the apartment. Cheers.

The “faceless”check in and check out (no reception) At first I was sceptical but after checking in with a simple QR, it was easy. I lost my way to the apartment and the staff were quick to reply by WA and showed me the direction.

The pillows are too soft to my liking. The tv programs are not kid friendly after midnight 🤣, so be aware. Washing machine without a dryer function. No brooms/vacuum but there is cleaning service for a price. The bathroom door was tinted but not dark enough for privacy. The fact that we had to throw out rubbish and the need to segregate it. All the above are just minimal things and are tolerable for us.

Es un alojamiento muy bonito, y bien ubicado, en una zona buena y moderna de la ciudad. Aunque toca desplazarse para ir a todos los sitios turísticos, moverse en transporte público fue muy fácil. Tanto por fuera como por dentro es un lugar muy agradable, el edificio es muy bonito. Definitivamente lo recomiendo al 100%!

We had a fantastic family stay in the heart of Gangnam, traveling all the way from London with our two little kids. The apartment was immaculately clean, cozy, and well-equipped with modern automation. Although it wasn't huge, it was just right for us, with a comfortable two-bedroom setup and a handy walk-in closet for luggage. The location was perfect—steps away from great cafes, a 7-Eleven, and a 24-hour laundromat, plus easy access to taxis. The heating kept us warm in winter, the AC was great when needed, and the digital locks and fancy automated toilet were fun touches. Overall, a neat, clean, and well-facilitated apartment that we’d highly recommend.

장점이 95프로에요 ㅋ 매우 쾌적하고 깔금한 시설. 층분히 많은 수납공간. 냉장고가 커서 편함. 대리석 바닥난방. 식탁공간 따로라 넘 좋고 넓음. 합리적인 가격대, 에어컨. 신축. 위치. 등등.... 특히 직원친절도는 최고에요!!!! 물건을 실수로 방안에 두고 체크타웃했는데, 지방까지 택배로 물건 포장해서 보내주신데에서 큰 감동 받았어요.

제겐 침대가 딱딱해서 잠을 잘 못 잤어요 (이건 사람마다 선호도 다를듯). 베게가 둘 다 넘 높았어요. 베게 한 개는 낮은걸로 해주시길. 수건들에서 냄새가 좀 남. 수압 약한 편. 세면대 배수가 바로 안 되고 좀 막힘. 물방울 샤워기 작동 안 됨.

Good quiet location. Easy close walking access to metro and airport bus about 5mins walk away. This location is about 30mins by walking away from the express bus terminal but can easily access to hotel by either walk or bus @ Nambu bus terminal which walking from there takes only 5mins . Check in and out was extremely easy if you follow the given times. Food easily accessible within mins of walking and also convenient shop just opposite. Everything you need in an aparthotel is here.

Spacious, well equipped, comfortable beds, very clean, very quiet neighbourhood. Very good location, close to metro, loads of restaurants and good cafes around. Also easy to find in the map, easy and smooth check in and check out.
