房间空调暖得比较慢，开了几个小时才渐渐暖和起来。露台风景绝美，如果可以配置一个烧烤炉会更棒！

The surprise package of the bottle of wine and the chocolates left by the hosts on our arrival was a nice touch.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Eigentlich sollten man Pembroke Hights nicht empfehlen, damit sie immer Verfügbar ist, wenn WIR die Unterkunft brauchen. Angefangen von der Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, mit diesem fantastischer Blick aufs Meer bis hin zu den vielen Gedanken die sich die Eigentümerin gemacht hat dieses Haus einzurichten. Jedes der drei Schlafzimmer hatte sein eigenes Badezimmer. Wenn man die Ruhe sucht, ist man hier am richtigen Platz. Zur Taverne (die wir übrigens auch empfehlen und die direkt am Meer liegt) sind es weniger als einen Kilometer.

TV totally unnecessary with a view like that. Great comms (post stay) with owner when I thought I has lost a charger. (should've gone to Spec savers)
A full length mirror (picky I know but we wracked our brains to come up with something!) I think it speaks to the quality of the place where you can't think of anything other than a full length mirror!!

Reviewed Dec 25, 2025Almost unlimited towels! The house had a fully stocked linen cupboard full of beautifully laundered towels. Though we still tried to be environmentally responsible it was great to have the option! Views to die for, beautiful house, modern decor. Clean and comfortable and cosy!! Kitchen fully stocked we even used the slow cooker. Could go on and on but all the other reviews say it all. Lovely little tavern down the road (though we couldn’t find a safe way to walk there, grateful for our sober driver :)
Nothing and also that we had to leave! Want to come back to Moeraki just to stay in the house again! It was so tranquil.

The house felt luxurious and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and we each loved having our own bedroom overlooking the stunning ocean with our own private bathroom! The hosts had thought of absolutely everything - modern and thoughtful amenities, great kitchen, and kind gifts that really made us feel at home. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and are grateful for the care and attention shown. We're already looking forward to coming back, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful property to others.

The views were absolutely breathtaking, making every moment feel special. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the owner/manager. So welcoming, kind, and attentive – you can really feel the care and love they put into making guests feel at home. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Without a doubt, a 10/10 experience and somewhere I’d love to return to again and again!

The breathtaking views added an extra layer of charm. This stay was a special treat for my birthday, and we cherished every moment in this stunning property. The thoughtful gesture of chocolates on arrival was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended experiences include indulging in crayfish at The Fishwife, exploring the lighthouse for incredible wildlife and breathtaking scenery, visiting the boulders, and enjoying a delightful coffee at the Boulders Café.

The home still has that new house smell and so many thoughtful modern touches including underfloor heating in the bathroom and electric blinds. Exceptionally well equipped for a holiday home.
