C'est cependant raide et compliqué à se garer ( prenez une voiture avant ou après le séjour). Pour une fois en Norvège les matelas sont durs, ce qui a rendu le sommeil parfait.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026Von den 9 Stationen unserer Norwegenreise war dies das Highlight! Eine wirklich große, liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem Komfort, ruhig gelegen, aber fußläufig zum Zentrum. Hier könnte man auch längere Zeit verbringen, wir hatten leider nur zwei Nächte. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit, draußen zu sitzen, wir hatten etwas Pech mit dem Wetter. Ein Supermarkt ist nicht weit, Restaurants für jeden Geschmack sind zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Wir haben es nicht geschafft, das Badezimmerfenster zu öffnen, so hat der Ventilator recht lange gebraucht, um die Feuchtigkeit zu vertreiben. Parken am Haus ist nur zum laden möglich, für länger muss man ins landesüblich teure Parkhaus.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Un très bel appartement, très fonctionnel. Pièces très grandes, jolie décoration, salle de bain bien chauffée et spacieuse. Lits confortables. Logement très agréable et très propre. Le quartier est très joli et c'est très facile de gagner le port par les petites ruelles qui y descendent.
Nous pensions nous garer dans la rue gratuitement, mais déception, pas gratuit du tout et compliqué . Si bien que nous sommes allés rendre la voiture au loueur un jour plus tôt. C'était à la fin de notre circuit et nous pouvions aller à l'aéroport en tram.

Parking is only on the streets and limited to 2 hours. Extension is possible only after 20 minutes have passed. For longer stays parking garages must be used.

Host Leena was very quick to respond & helpful, especially allowing us an early check in. Kitchen, laundry & bathroom were well stocked. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was great.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2026Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and your prompt replies to all the questions that we asked. The house had everything you would have in your own house and felt like home. Location was less than 10 minutes from city centre. We were two couples and really enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had a little bit of oil and few spices and enough dishes to cook if you so want. Grocery stores nearby. Highly recommend her place.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026Perfekt kommunikasjon i forkant og alt fungerte som avtalt fra en veldig fleksibel utleier. Kort spasertur fra det meste. Tydelig merking på det meste i leiligheten. Deilig med varmepumpe. Supert med et utvalg av spill for de yngste.
Litt knirkelyder fra gulvet til nabo over, og litt ujevnheter i gulvet i leiligheten. En stol som ikke kunne brukes, da den var vaklete. Men alt fungerte til tross for det.

Dom jest duży, wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia w kuchni, łazience i pokojach. Poza tym cisza i spokój - po dniu atrakcji można komfortowo wypocząć. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielką, która jest miła i pomocna.

Bohužel parkování v Bergenu není levná záležitost a stále se musí prodlužovat po 2 hodinách... Naštěstí v noci se neplatí a nemá to co do činění s nájemcem. Zde bylo vše perfektní!

Reviewed Sep 1, 2025Дуже класний акомодейшн, дійсно. По-перше - локація. Це десь 7 хвилин пішки від Брюггена (бухта з тими самими будиночками). Дорога трохи вгору, підйом близько 40 метрів. Це небагато, але для когось може бути відчутно. Хост дуже приємний: у нас не вистачало одного рушника - питання вирішили за 10 хвилин. Локація — супер. Недалеко від будинку є невеличке озеро-фонтан (дивіться на Google Maps, 2 хвилини пішки, ідеальний квадрат на картах). Сам фонтан не особливо цікавий, АЛЕ звідти неймовірний вид на захід сонця - дуже рекомендую. У протилежний бік, за 3 хвилини пішки - великий супермаркет (Meny). Квартира дуже простора: 2 окремі спальні з великими ліжками, 1 вбиральня та величезна кухня-вітальня, де, у разі потреби, можна спокійно спати на розкладному дивані - він на диво зручний. У квартирі є буквально все. І навіть більше. Ймовірно, у вас удома чогось немає, що є тут :D 10 видів спецій, 3 види кави, чай, цукор, сіль, олія? Є. Скотч? Є. Пергамент, фольга, фільтри для кави? Звісно. Ролик для одягу від шерсті? Тут. Мікрохвильовка? Є. Будь-який посуд, сковорідки, каструлі, бокали, склянки? Скільки завгодно. Батарейки всіх можливих типів? Тут. Я можу продовжувати цей список безкінечно, але ви зрозуміли. Вікна квартири виходять на вулицю, але будинок стоїть на високому фундаменті. Люди інколи проходять під вікнами, але не настільки близько, щоб зазирати. До того ж трафік на вулиці дуже низький - майже нікого немає, машин теж. ТЕРАСА. З квартири є свій приватний вихід на закриту терасу. Теоретично туди можуть виходити ще 2 інші квартири, але у нас нікого не було. За всі дні ми там жодного разу нікого не зустріли.
Це не впливає на оцінку, але є нюанс. Посудомийна машина потребує заміни. Вона ледь працює: ящики злітають, ущільнювачі відходять і так далі. Мити миє, але є відчуття, що вона ось-ось “сдохне”.

Reviewed May 20, 2025Bergen has lots of steps and hill walking, so be sure to wear your walking shoes to get to and from the rental. Parking is difficult, so consider public transport—we took the tram from the airport and went by foot to tour areas. Highlights: heated bathroom floors, plenty of natural light, plenty of utensils, dining table had plenty of seating. Easy check in/out with outdoor box. Quiet during sleeping hours since rental is away from through traffic. Comfy beds. Windows all worked for nice cross breeze to cool apartment and fans are provided in bedrooms. Garbage and recycle cans are right outside the back garden door.
No table and chairs for outside eating.

Felt like home even just for one night stay. I booked in rush at the last minute and Leena was very responsive and helpful with everything from check in to general info such as parking in the area- and other suggestion such as close by hiking possibility to Floyen.

The host, Leena is friendly and considerate All the updated information about the house will be informed immediately that we could be well prepared. Excellent and generous host!
Actually, there is nothing we dislike. Only one has to be attended is the slope up from the town to the house is not easy though the distance is about 10mins walking distance only; specially the stoneroad is hard to manage for the lugguages for the travellers with aged and kids.

The neighborhood was quiet. And the location was close to parking garages, shopping, groceries, Port of Bergen, and the Bryggen area.
Bergen is hilly, so expect some serious exercise, especially if you’re old!

Reviewed Jan 17, 2024Lovely stay in a delightful apartment! The apartment had two large double bedrooms which were very comfortable and spacious meaning we all had the space we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and cleaned impeccably, as was the rest of the apartment, with even a few essentials (olive oil, seasoning, paper towels etc.) that made cooking so much easier for our short stay. The host was very fast at replying to questions - often replying within minutes! We walked everywhere (it's 10mins mostly uphill from the city center, but that was good exercise). The outlook point just 200m up the road towards Mount Floyen had the most stunning views! There is a grocery store 300m away which had everything we needed right on the doorstep. Overall it was a beautiful apartment in a beautiful area, would definitely book again next time the family is in Bergen.
Perfect stay, just wish we had more time to enjoy the townhouse and the city!

We all found the beds a bit hard, particularly my youngest daughter, who slept on the pull out sofa bed. Some people may love really firm beds and it would suit them well. A dryer would be a good addition. We visited just after New Year. Should have checked when many museums and other attractions were open when we were planning our holiday. A lot of things were closed. We were lucky with the weather and could walk around a lot.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2023The place has everything to provide an excellent stay. Big, nice, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful. The bathroom has a heated floor! I definitely recommend this place.
I have to admit that going up the hill with luggage and after a long day of sightseeing is a bit tiring, but then the accommodation is worth it.

The interior is modern and smart very spacious for our family of 4. Nice big beds. Communication with owners was quick and helpful. Good kitchen for home cooking.
Parking is a bit of a pain having to park in multistory closer to town. Not sure if there is a better solution.

Thin curtains in the living room made it hard for the person on the sofabed to get to sleep, especially with the long days. The bedrooms have blinds and thick curtains, but the living room has translucent curtains.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2023I loved this Townhouse. It is very spacious, cosy and clean. Has everything you could possibly need. The bed is so very comfortable. Very quiet but central location. 5 min walk to the main attractions. A small shop and a supermarket within a couple minutes walk. I stayed here for four nights, wish i could have stayed longer!!! The owner Leena is a pleasure to deal with. I will return some day.
Be prepared for a uphill walk to accommodation!!! Good exercise 😊

The kitchen needed additional cleaning especially the fridge, owen and the backsplash. Parking is difficult and expensive even for Norwegian standards.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2023The place was spotless, and even though there was construction just outside it was still nice and quiet inside. Full kitchen with some of the essentials (Olive oil, pans, dishwasher, clothes washer...) Great that they had fans, and a vacuum cleaner. There were some sodas, snacks, and chocolates out for us. There's a grocery store down the street, and it's in the heart of the city. Recently renovated, and still has the charm of a 100 year old house.
On a map it looks like it's really close to the waterfront (Bryggen); only 1000 feet, but also 150 feet vertical (about 10 flights of stairs). We walked from the metro stop, and it was just a bit longer of a walk than we expected when carrying luggage (15 mins). Could use better black out curtains, but not a big deal.
