IT WAS LIKE STAYING IN HOME WITH HOME COOKED FOOD AND HOSPITALITY OFFERED BY THE OWNER. I WILL DEFINATELY WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN IN THIS PROPERTY IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Well behaved hosts and the location is convenient

This property was not what I expected at all. It’s actually a single bedroom inside the host’s personal home — not a separate unit or an independent homestay like most listings across India. There’s no private entrance or sense of privacy; you’re essentially confined to a small room within their house. Had I known that the kitchen, dining area, and other spaces were shared with the host, I would not have booked it. The listing should clearly state this upfront so that guests can make an informed decision. Transparency is very important in hospitality, and this detail feels misleading. While the host himself was polite and well-behaved, the overall setup is not suitable for travelers seeking privacy or independent accommodation. Also, the lift over there is extremely tiny and only 2 people can get fitted. I stayed for just one night and checked out early the next morning. This place might suit someone comfortable with close host interaction, but it’s definitely not ideal for those expecting a standalone stay experience.

It felt more like our own home...every small detail was catered to with utmost care! The food was beyond excellent. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay and we will surely be coming back again!

Homely home away from home. ITI and SUJIT made sure we elders were comfortable and went out of their way to treat us like family. Homely Oriya vegetarian food prepared by them. I will highly recommend travellers to experience this place and young couple passionate about their hospitality

We had a pleasant stay at the property for 2 nights, and it's worth the money spent.

No complaints. Yet it is little far from the main centre. That's manageable.

We really appreciated the traditional Oriya food, the facilities in the room, and the tasteful ambience - we didn’t feel away from home. It was so thoughtful of both of you to make the delicious traditional kheer (just based on our discussions!). I really commend your efforts in making our stay very cherishing and ensuring we were comfortable throughout. Also, our thanks to your staff, for being ever smiling and helpful. Sublime Homestay is a very excellent place in all aspects. The hosts Sujit and his wife Etti are very very warm and helpful. We enjoyed their vegetarian BF and Dinner. The Homestay literally represents the art and culture of Odisha. I strongly recommend this Homestay. Amazing value for money.

I hesitate to write about this homestay because this is one of the best homestays I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. As soon as you arrive, you are warmly welcomed by Sujit Sir and Etti Ma'am into their beautiful home. The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. The amount of space you get for what you pay is really amazing, much more than a hotel room. Breakfast everyday was so delicious and varied, and the portion sizes were perfect. The staff are so kind and very attentive, they are there to help at a moment's notice. The place is close to an elephant sanctuary, so the surrounding environment is very peaceful and relaxing. Also, quite hours are between 10 pm to 6 am, so it is perfect for resting well after a long day. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come to Bhubaneshwar. ⁹⁹

The apartment was very clean and very tastefully done. Both Ettie and Sujit were super helpful. The high point has to be the food. It was super delicious, on time and served with a smile by the two lovely helpers. We had a very restful stay after a busy 6 day birding trip!

Nothing. Just that every time we enter, we have to call the hosts from the gate to come get us as there is an unfriendly dog in the compound.

The food... The ease of access and the peace

The Homestay is spacious, although rather out of town , however we appreciated the quiet calm of the home after the crazy traffic, a quiet sanctuary.

Very comfortable room, with lots of facilities & very helpful hosts. Lovely home cooked food.... but would have been happier with more spice. Everything was great as one would expect when staying at a family home stay.

The location was a bit away from the centre of town, but actually this had the benefit of being quiet, with the city jungle close by. Once we had worked out how to use Uber auto-rickshaws, then the location was no problem at all.

I traveled with my elderly parents for their monthly follow-up at a nearby hospital. The homestay provided them with the perfect ambience and healthy food that they needed. The owners are extremely considerate and kind people and everyone in the homestay are polite, helpful, and cared for my parents as if they were their own. We had a very memorable experience. We had a wonderful stay at Sublime Homestay, where the highlight was undoubtedly the delicious home-cooked meals. Each dish was balanced in flavor, and thoughtfully prepared. Some of the recipes are uniquely crafted by Sujit and Etti, making the dining experience truly special. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic, wholesome meals in a cozy setting.

Sujit and Etti were lovely and thoughtful. The apartment was immaculate.

It was a little out of town and we like to walk places so that wasn’t possible. Saying that Uber is cheap and easy.

My stay was pretty awesome. No Complaints. The kitchen was stacked and breakfast served on time. Room, Bedding clean and pristine. They are a fount of knowledge on how you can split your stay there advising on places to visit given your time duration of stay. They have house help who are pretty proficient with running a bread and breakfast place. Not to mention, Mrs and Mr.Sujit are quite a host who will make you feel welcome at home.

The couple hosting this stay are fantastic and down to earth people They serve lovely home cooked food The staff is very sincere and honest They are large hearted and made me feel very comfortable throughout the stay I would say its value for money and i would love to stay with them again. I absolutely loved the spacious room and the attached balcony with lovely plants, and enjoyed the meals very much (both the complimentary breakfast and the very reasonably priced dinners). They gave us tea on the house whenever we asked for it. Sujit Sir and Etti ma'am also arranged tours around Bhubaneswar for us, and a drop off to Puri with added sightseeing on the way. I thoroughly enjoyed the informative chats I had with Sujit Sir, who suggested the 64 yogini mandir to me! I highly recommend choosing this homestay for your Bhubaneswar trips. This property has a lift, so it is also suitable for elders despite being on the second floor.

A bit more privacy would have been nice - didn't realize at the time of booking that we would get one room, thought it would be 1 whole apartment

Sujit and Ettie are wonderful friendly hosts who were very helpful and welcoming. The staff Rukmini and Lalita also were very conscientious and willing to help very promptly. Beds were comfortable, facilities very good. Breakfasts were delicious and varied each day.

It felt unusual for us not to have our own access to the property and for us not to be able to lock our room.

Simple, quiet and very comfortable stay with the host family. Everything was very clean and the was excellent. Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. Our hosts were also very helpful with local information and booking services.

I have travelled a lot and never got a place like this before. I can’t complain on anything. Everything was perfect. Sujit and Etti has done extremely good work to make their home as a second home for their guests.

I wish I visit The property and meet the owners of Sublime, The Mohapatras who are so nice and caring. Was not mentioned but offered us morning tea etc. Breakfast was no less than lunch. Enjoyed chatting with them.
