Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The apartment was beautiful in a picturesque location looking out onto Mount Errigal from the patio door. Everything you need for self catering, spacious, and exceptionally clean and fresh. Frankie the host had left a welcome pack, milk,tea, coffee and a goody pack which was lovely. f you needed anything Frankie was a phone call away. We could not fault the apartment, everything you needed was supplied. We would not hesitate to recommend you staying there, we would go again.

It states on the website that the apartment is 3.5km from the center of Gweedore when it's actually 15km from Gweedore. The apartment is Lovely, cosy, warm and with beautiful views. But we were traveling to a gig in Gweedore so booked the apartment based on its proximity to Gweedore for taxis etc..... So that aspect was disappointing.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2025I loved the location and the view. Also, everything is provided, so you could live there as in your regular home. It's also very private, the owners keep themselves to themselves, but at the same time there's no problem contacting them if you need anything. A very cosy place with a recliner that'll make you doze off in front of tv after a long day of hiking in the hills.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2025Call me selfish but I didn't want to put my opinion here as I know when people will get to know this place it will probably be booked all the time ! 😅🥲 I have loved this place from the moment we get there ! Everything was at the top! From check-in to check-out, we felt truly taken care of at every moment. The apartment is perfectly equipped – it has everything you could possibly need. The bed and sofas are very comfortable, and in the evenings you can either relax with Netflix and chill, or enjoy the terrace furniture and the stunning view of Errigal, if you fancy. The welcome basket and the list of recommended local restaurants and places to visit were a wonderful touch. The place is very clean and well maintained as well. I regret that the weather didn’t allow us to climb Mount Errigal, but on the other hand, it’s the perfect reason to come back to this apartment – perhaps for a longer stay next time. If I were to suggest anything, it would only be that it would be lovely to have a small roof or canopy over the terrace, something to give a bit of shelter from the rain. Even in such rainy weather, I would have loved to spend long hours out there, soaking in the views. One of the best stays we had in Ireland so far! Keep going the good job there 🤩🤩🤩

The view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking and the neighbourly sheep roaming around the place only added to the feel for the place. The hosts, Frankie and Bernie were so friendly, facilitating and made everything seamless. We will absolutely be back.

There is nothing negative to say, milk in the fridge, a lovely welcome basket which was unexpected but much appreciated. Plenty hotels out there could learn a thing or two from this place. Host even had some essentials like milk and tea left for us. Local shop less than 5 mins away with everything you might need. Host provided great recommendations for food, tried both the Fara Óg Restaurant (An Chúirt Hotel) and Danny Minnies, both we lovely.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2025Fabulous apartment in the middle of countryside, with amazing view on Mount Errigal in close proximity of trails, Glenveagh National Park and Atlantic Coast. Apartment is modern, very spacious, equipped with all amenities you need, clean and comfortable. Nice touch was a welcome box with some snacks and milk in the fridge! Communication with the host was excellent. Definitely will go back whenever possible. Highly recommend it!

Reviewed Aug 1, 2024The views are were outstanding from the terrace . The appartment was spotless clean , you could eat off the floor ! The bed was comfortable . The location is close to many local attractions and the scenery is breathtaking . The host made sure there was milk and plenty of tea bag’s etc and there was also some treats and cereal which was an added bonus as I was unprepared . Couldn’t fault it only for the 10am checkout look forward to booking again in the future .
