החדר היה נקי מבחינת תחזוקה והכנה של החדר, אבל עם הרגשה שיש חוסר ניקיון מצטבר- כמו ריח לא נעים בשרותים. היה חסר לי, מאד, שתהיה רשת בחלון כדי שאוכל להשאיר חלון פתוח- היו המון יתושים וזה היה בלתי אפשרי והכריח אותי לישון עם מזגן ותחושה של 'חסר לי אוויר נקי'. גודל החדר לא איפשר לי מרחב לתירגול יוגה וגם לא מרחב ישיבה נוח, שלא על המיטה- היה מרחב של בערך חצי מטר פנוי סביב המיטה ולא מעבר לזה.

Reviewed Jul 3, 2026🚨 Deceptive Advertising, Awful Service, and Missing Amenities – Avoid This Place We stayed at Homaja Beach Resort for 4 nights and 5 days, and it was a deeply frustrating experience. What was advertised on Booking.com is completely different from the reality on the ground. 🟢 The Only Positives The property has a nice view. The first room (1 king bed and a bunk bed) was fine and as described. 🔴 The Major Issues 1. False Beachfront Advertisement We specifically booked this resort for beach access. While it is advertised as beachfront, the beach is completely blocked off by walls and fences. To actually get to the water, we had to walk out of the property, down the public street, and back around—a 400-meter walk. This inconvenience completely ruined our beach plans. 2. Missing Beds & Unfair Extra Charges We booked two rooms to accommodate 9 people. The second room was supposed to have a king bed and two futons. Instead, it only had the king bed. Management absurdly expected 5 people (3 adults and 2 children) to sleep on a single king-size bed. When we asked for the promised sleeping arrangements, they forced us to pay an additional 1,200 PHP for an extra bed to fix their mistake. They also charged us 200 PHP for broken plates. 3. Terrible Maintenance & Amenities Safety Hazard: The room doors do not lock properly. Plumbing & AC: The plumbing was clogged, and the air conditioning barely functioned. Hygiene: We were given the same towels to use for all 5 days, and there were no rugs provided in the bathroom. Kitchen: The kitchen was unready, filthy, and lacked propane for cooking. 4. Rude Management & Poor Support The host was incredibly rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. To make matters worse, Booking.com only offered a measly 2,000 PHP refund for this entire ordeal, which nowhere near compensates for the false advertising and terrible experience. 🚫 Final Verdict Do not trust the listing.

Reviewed May 4, 2026The property is near the beach, clean, and very accessible to Moadto Mall, Moadto Beach, Modalla, 7-Eleven, and a laundry shop. Commuting is easy because you can hail a tuk-tuk nearby. The owner and caretakers are very responsive, accommodating, and understanding. They are flexible with our requests to check in early and check out late due to our activities that day, as long as no other guests are arriving on the same day we check out.

The bed sheet (the one you lay on) was very warm. I would wake up sweating, even if the AC was on. A thinner, breathable sheet, would be more appropriate. Although the location is great, the access for a car is not the best, it's a tight space, especially if entering during the night.

Please ,please install some blinds, or just simply curtains! Shower clogged up a bit by the end of my stay. If you don't hire a motorbike, the location can be out of reach for a few things.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Una, die Chefin – sie hat uns in einer echten Notlage unglaublich geholfen und wollte dafür nicht einmal Geld annehmen. So viel Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft findet man wirklich selten. Dafür sind wir ihr von Herzen dankbar. Die Anlage selbst ist traumhaft gelegen und bietet einen wunderschönen Blick über Palmen hinweg auf das Meer. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Er ist sauber, sehr gepflegt und verfügt über einen Pontonsteg, über den man wunderbar schnorcheln kann – ein echtes Highlight! Die Unterkunft ist komfortabel ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man sich für einen entspannten Aufenthalt wünscht. In der Nähe befindet sich außerdem eine kleine Mall mit einem 7/11 sowie mehreren guten Restaurants, sodass man bestens versorgt ist. Wir können Homaja Roomrental uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Reviewed Jan 26, 2026If you are looking for a quiet place in busy Panglao, this is the place for you. The room had a beautiful view of the green palm trees and the sea. It does not have direct beach access, but you can reach the water in just a few minutes on foot. The staff is very friendly and took good care of me, as well as helping me organize my onward journey (transportation). There is also a 7-Eleven 3 minutes away.
The only thing was that the toilet/shower was very small, but the hot shower made up for it.

My room had a door to the next room(it's weird), and there was absolutely no sound isolation, so you can hear everything. It was hard to sleep. Also I didn't like that they allowed to park neighbor's car into such a beautiful backyard.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025The bed was soft and bedroom climate comfortable. The shower had hot water and internet was mostly working. Walking distance to the local shopping centre.
The images lie (AI?) The pool on the image belongs to the neighbouring hotel which had since built walls around it and do not want outside visitors. The apartment had a kitchen, but no kitchen utensils, porcelain or cutlery, except for 1 egg boiler. The images infer proximity to the beach. The beach is at the end of the property (which also has a run down house ruin closer to the beach), with a locked and rusty metal gate. The beach outside is littered anyway. This garden (we have travelled the Philippines for two months) is one of few where we got mosquito bites. Wild dogs had made themselves at home on the garden furniture on our otherwise spacious second floor balcony.

Que el agua fría del dispensador no funcionara y al estar afuera (a la intemperie) recibe sol y sale caliente.

Reviewed Dec 4, 2025The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We accidentally left our power bank behind, and the owner was kind enough to inform us about it. The place is clean and well maintained, and the outdoor area is spacious, offering plenty of room for parking or other activities.
The accommodation is located along the beachfront, but guests are not allowed to access the beach directly from the property. We had to take an alternative route because some nearby resorts restrict beach access.

There was great parking space and relaxing atmosphere. It was peaceful and the amenities were sufficient. It is a quiet and laid back place, yet it is near a Moad To Mall near Moada Resort with lots of restaurants to choose from. 7eleven is few steps away. About 100m to the beach. If you want a lively night stroll, you may take a 15min ride @ P250 tuktok fare to Alona Beach. Value for money overall. We will definitely recommend the place to our friends. Special mention to caretakers Jim, Fe and the other guys i forgot the names, for their warmth welcome and hospitable gestures. 👏 👏 👍

Reviewed May 11, 2025The owner was really friendly and let us wash our clothes for a few pesos. The room was not big but comfy and all in all ok.
On booking.com, it says and shows that there is a direct path to the beach. We were sadly surprised when we arrived and got told that there was a direct path to the beach, but not anymore due to a new beach resort. We kind of decided to book this apartment because of the beach. The walls are very thin, so when our neighbour had a telephone call in the room next to us, we felt as if we were in the same room.

The room was so small that we had to leave our luggage on the balcony. It is beachfront, but it doesn’t have access to the beach. The area is not great. There’s not much around, and after 10, everything is closed. We were far from everything. We decided to leave the place three days in advance because we couldn’t stay there one more day.
