Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Very spacious clean rooms. Centrally located with very easy walking access to everything: restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets you name it everything was close by. Kitchen was nicely equipped. All amenities present. Nice big enough fridge, washing machine etc.
There was a huge heap of garbage right across the apartments. Municipality was cleaning it but seems it was the major waste dump site of the whole area . Parking. There is barely space for 3 vehicles right next to the apartments. You get into shouting matches with neighbors if you park next to their homes. There is no view at all from the windows.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025Квартира в целом неплохая, просторная, человек 5 спокойно могут в нее вместиться. Два раздельных санузла, что очень удобно. Расположена в старом районе, который больше напоминает Индию, чем Оман)) До coconut beach где-то 30 минут пешком (на такси минут 10). Кстати, это единственный доступный пляж в данном расположении, все остальные обнесены глухим забором и доступны исключительно для приватного использования (что не добавляет звезд к туристической привлекательности Салалы конечно), но пляж очень красивый, неподалеку есть уютные кафе и магазины. Остановка общественного транспорта в 10 минутах ходьбы, останавливается 21 автобус, который следует из и в аэропорт. Недалеко есть фруктовая лавка, а вот до ближайшего супермаркета минут 30 ходу.
Сложилось такое впечатление, что ремонт как будто бы не завершен, из стены торчат какие-то провода, на потолке вырезы под лампы, но они ничем не заполнены. Стиральная машина полноценно не работала, после 3 минут выдавала ошибку и сливала воду. Холодильник тоже не функционировал, молоко скисало на день, работала только морозильная камера.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2025I had a wonderful stay at Rateel Hotel Apartments. The property is well-maintained, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which made my stay even more pleasant. The apartment was spacious, tidy, and equipped with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and city facilities. Housekeeping service was prompt and professional. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend Rateel Hotel Apartments to anyone visiting Salalah. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit!

Reviewed Jan 1, 2025This is an apartment, so you can do your loundry, cook, get rest in front of the TV. The host is extremaly nice and helpful, even though his english wasn’t the best. The apartment is sittuated in a very heart of the city, near Al suq ad dahab, cafes, restaurants and other.

the only issue is the people at the reception are not very professional and when we requested 3 towels for 2 persons, he refused to give us a 3rd towel, until i insisted. not professional. :),

Extremely basic. Literally, the bare minimum kitchen equipment. Absolutely nothing extra (no toaster, cooking oil, tea or coffee, bottled water. Nothing.) Not even dishwashing detergent or tea towels, so I dont know how clean any of the dishes could possibly be. No butter knives. Had to ask for bathroom towels as none were provided. The beds were HARD. Only one pillow each. The couch was rock hard. Parking on the street.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2023The building is new and beautifully furnished. Easy to locate and in the city center so lot of restaurants around it. Lots of rental car companies are also near by. The cleanliness of the place was good along with all kitchen appliances.
The overall service was not good. You can't find the caretaker in the property and he was not polite with us as well. They don't provide towels or housekeeping for kitchen appliances as well. We had to wash our own plates for 2 days.
