Elephant Memories wildlife lodge

Everything was good. James helped us a lot with our daily trips to Kruger.

James is very helpful and accommodating ; we didn’t have a car and he drove us to the store and restaurants ( walking is not recommended as the location is in the bush). Looking out on the bush, visitors include zebra, bush buck, kudo, mongeese, right in lodge compound . Nice continental breakfast.

Great tent that had plenty of room for our family of four. Nice common kitchen for food prep.

Had a very pleasant stay at this place. Stew was very welcoming and went out of his way to cook food for us We had some incredible meals here Very cozy atmosphere, love the fireplace at night underneath the stars. Good access to Kruger.

Lugar incrível. Quarto confortável, chuveiro quente, piscina boa, silencioso, funcionários atenciosos, animais aparecem no quintal tornando o cenário surpreendente. A cozinheira uma querida, sempre levava frutas cortadas para nós. O anfitrião que administra o lugar senhor Stu é super prestativo, cuidou para que chegássemos bem no local pois nosso voo do Brasil atrasou e precisamos ir em um transfer para Nelspruit chegando tarde da noite. Stu cuidou para que nos buscassem em segurança e preço justo. Reservou nossos passeios. E preparava uma janta, um churrasco todas as noites. Agradeço pelos belos dias que passei com minha esposa lá e espero voltar em breve.

The hostess (Goodness) she welcomed us with warm hands, she was exceptional in every aspect and very helpful. Took us for a walk within Marlothpark, helped us in booking for a safari tour at Kruger. Everything was perfectly

Понравилось все! Рекомендую! Прекрасный хозяин устроил нам новогодний ужин. Каждый день можно делать шикарный вечерний гриль. Магазин рядом. До парка близко. По улицам ходят звери, в том числе жирафы. Отличное место!

Our stay at Elephant Memories  was yet again absolutely unforgettable! The environment was incredibly peaceful —exactly what was needed for a true getaway. Stu the owner and his staff treated us like family, providing exceptional, warm hospitality. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by breathtaking nature; We felt safe and truly restored. We even spotted animals like mongooses, kudus, and giraffes, bush pigs right from the property. We highly recommend this for anyone visiting the Kruger area...

Stu was a very good host. Always making sure you eat and have everything you need.

The owner, Stu, makes you feel like you are at home. He truly goes out of his way to make sure all your needs are met, nothing is too much for him.

Cudowny klimat! Bliskość natury, czysto, miło i dobre wyposażenie. Gospodarz wspaniały i pomocny, tworzy świetną atmosferę w tym miejscu. Byliśmy z dziećmi, dostaliśmy dodatkowe łóżeczko dla niemowlaka - to było bardzo miłe i pomocne :) Jesteśmy zachwyceni pobytem w tym miejscu ❤️

It is a tent camp in the forest with some cabins. Great tents personnel and breakfast. Owner was helpful and let us barbecue in the evenings.

Everything absolutely 💯 beautiful place i swam in the pool with the goats just next to the fence and when we drove out we saw giraffe and some wild animals 😜

Crocodile Bridge gate is roughly 20 mins drive. Comfortable stay in the chalet and having the pool was great in the heat. Braai facilities available. Stu was a great host and we look forward to visiting again when the additions have been added to the lodge.

I really loved the glamping we experienced the facilities are good the host and stuff super nice attentive poeple would come again definitely!

Malgré une arrivée compliquée car le lieu est mal indiqué dans GoogleMap, nous avons passé un super moment ! Stu n’a pas hésité à prendre sa voiture pour venir nous chercher. Et ce fut une explosion de bonheur cette soirée en plein cœur du parc sauvage, nous n’avions pas pris le temps d’acheter de quoi dîner, Stu nous a emmenés au pub dîner et boire des bières face au match des Sringboks ! Une soiree exceptionnelle avant de démarrer notre visite du parc Kruger des 5h ! Merci encore Stu

Stu is a gem. We struggled a bit to find the accommodation as there are two entries to Erdvark Street, but once we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly Kiwi who raced out to our car to welcome us. The lapa fire was already ablaze and because we had not managed to get to a shop to stock up on dinner, he graciously shared his dinner and last bottle of wine with us. Our little house was perfect - clean, stylish and well equipped. The swimming pool looked inviting, but because we arrived so late and left early, there was no time to test the waters. The location is perfect - a short drive to Crocodile Bridge where we were greeted by a few of the Vurhami Lion Pride - a great way to start the day. Stu is new to Marloth Park and has many wonderful ideas planned for his new venture as a host in South Africa. We will definitely be back to check on his progress. Thank you Stu for incredible kindness and hospitality - have never had such wonderful interaction with a booking.com host before and we wish you luck as you settle into your new home.

The electricity went off at 2am (only in South Africa), however, the staff went out of their way to make breakfast using the gas stove and we left with full tummies and smiles on our faces.

Stuart, the owner and host went out of his way to make sure that we had a wonderful stay. He is expanding and he has great plans to make Elephant Memories even more exceptional. !! The wild animals that wonder in and out of the property make it even more interesting and different- Looking forward to returning to see his vision completed.

Elephant Memories is a peaceful, beautifully setup and well-kept place to stay. We really enjoyed the layout of the communal kitchen, braai and pool area with the family! Very social and had a great view of the animals! All the extra little touches, like little toiletries in the bathrooms, rusks by the kettle, the Elephant memories guide & hand drawn Marloth map and game feed available were lovely. They just thought of everything! We will definitely be back and highly recommending this stunning place for a break away.

You certainly get more value for your money than expected! There is a shared, fully-equiped kitchen with in and outdoor seating, making cooking and dining really easy for self-catering. The chalets are well appointed and had everything we needed.. even a hair dryer for my wife (big plus for her). Even though the property is shared by other guests, you are surrounded by bushveld, with different animals and birds visiting the property throughout the day. Bushbuck, kudu, mongoose and warthogs, even bushbabies while we had a braaied at night. The pool is lovely, although it was too cold for us to use at this time of year. There is an upstairs communal lounge with huge windows that make it feel like a treetop hide. We would definitely recommend Elephant Memories as a must stay for nature lovers. A real hidden gem! I haven't relaxed like this in ages.
