Los dueños viven justo al lado, por tanto la recogida de llaves es muy sencilla. El lugar es muy bonito y la casa enorme.

Een plek met prachtig vrij uitzicht en een grote tuin. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig om te koken en barbecuen bij dit ruime huis. Fijne bedden. Met het warme weer is een goed muggenhor voor het raam in de slaapkamer onbetaalbaar 😊! Vanaf station Steinegg heel makkelijk naar Wasserauen voor een hike en kabelbaan naar de Ebenalp en Seealpsee.

Met het openbaar vervoer is het lopen vanaf het station Hirschberg een beetje vervelend; je loopt langs een provinciale weg zonder echt voetpad. De gastvrouw was zo aardig om ons op de terugweg met de auto af te zetten bij het station.

This property was absolutely perfect. The hosts were so kind. It was a little bit of paradise. My son and I are on a 2 week tour of Germany and Switzerland. We had a rough travel day where things didn’t go as planned, and without even asking, the host picked us up from the train station! It was so kind, and exactly what we needed. There is a train station nearby that we walked to and had a great day at Ebenalp. We also walked to town one day and had a wonderful time. The cow bells, the cat playing in the field, the birds….. it was just beautiful. My bed was so comfortable, the space was clean and quiet and private. If you are hesitant to book I would say, don’t be. This place is great! Oh also there was a fancy coffee maker that I had excellent cups of coffee from each morning.

Very spacious, well kept, fully equipped kitchen, even comes with baking paper, cooking oil, aluminium foil, and salt and pepper. Host lives next door, thus no worries when we needed help. Come with washer at the basement and laundry soap. Excellent view.

Nothing particularly. Please remember to bring your own shampoo and shower gel, which is easy as we knew before hand.

Es ist ein sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtetes und komfortables Appenzeller Haus mitten im Grünen. Wir hatten zu Viert genügend Platz und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr umfangreich ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr gastfreundlich und haben uns mit Wandervorschlägen beraten. Es gibt unzählige wunderschöne Wandermöglichkeiten im Alpsteingebiet und Appenzeller Land für Gross und Klein. Die vorgängige Zusendung der Ferienkarte, mit der wir kostenlos eine Bergbahn benutzten sowie die Schlüsselübergabe waren problemlos. Herzlichen Dank für das Appenzeller Willkommensbier.

The house is almost perfect

The ceiling is 185cm, and for me, as a tall person it was not good. I had to bend all the time. But the rest of the family was happy.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Aussicht und die Lage ist optimal. Man kommt überall schnell mit dem Auto hin, sei es zu größeren Wanderungen oder ins Geschäft. Die Ausstattung war herausragend. Man hat nichts vermisst und die Leute waren sehr nett.

Diese Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Das Haus ist makellos sauber, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ruhig und ideal zum Entspannen, gleichzeitig in der Nähe wunderschöner Ausflugsziele. Der Service war erstklassig und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern schnell und freundlich. Wir empfehlen es unbedingt weiter und kommen gerne wieder!

This house was cozy and old fashioned and homey. Everything we needed to make a meal and stay in was available. The host greeted us and was so welcoming. The view of the mountains around, covered in snow, was beautiful. They even put around a few decorations, as it was Christmas! We walked from the train station, and even in the dark in the cold, it was about about 10 minutes.

The house is very nice, clean, warm, beautifully decorated. Very good location : quiet, charming, beautiful views.

Very nice and clean accomodation. Walking distance from train station and some nice hiking routes. Many hiking routes within short travel distance. Complementary Appenzeller Ferienkarte is an excellent deal with free access to train and cable car. NIce hosts. Good WiFi. Tremendous beautiful mountain views.

Kitchen equipment a litte scarce. Some more mugs and a large frying pan could be usefull. Also some large serving spoons. Historic building with low ceilings, Need to stoop frequently if you are above 1.85 m.
