Houseboat Dokstroom

We stayed for four nights and Joanne has been the perfect host. She gave us plenty of advises on Amsterdam, places to visit and how to rent a bike. The boat was tidy, comfy and warm, in an ideal position to reach the city centre and the main train station in a few minutes. We will surely come back!

The houseboat is super cosy and equipped with everything you need: coffee machine, some spices, microwave. But it is also equipped with a lot of love: there is a information-folder with a lot of Tipps where to find what and which way to go. Also the baskets with little convenient necessities: band-aid, earplugs, some cosmetics in the bathroom. It was a lovely stay and even though we didn't catch up with Joanne, I had a feeling of what a lovely woman she is. I would totally book it again once I come back to Amsterdam.

There is actually nothing to improve

Tipica imbarcazione olandese, ristrutturata con tutto il necessario per riposare nelle giornate uggiose. Pulitissimo e letto comodo e avvolgente. Una esperienza che ripeterei sicuramente perché unica. A 15 minuti a piedi dal centro

Esterno da riordinare un po'

Propriétaire adorable et très serviable. L'emplacement est top, à quelques pas de la gare et du centre animé de Amsterdam.

L'intérieure aurait peut-être besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement général.

The location was awesome and really cosy, felt great for a weekend away

there was just nothing to cook « real » food ( add cooking plates and this place will be perfect) other than that nothing !!

Joanne was super lovely and helpful with the parking information. We felt welcome and loved our stay. Location is excellent!

Owner was very nice and helpful and gave a lot of tips and information about the city. The boat itself was a fun experience and was docked at a nice, walkable location.

The location was Perfect for what I needed, just off the beaten path but close to everything Amsterdam has to offer. The host was above and beyond and made me feel at home. Highly recommended!

Location was perfect for public transportation needs. Easy to find from train station. Joanne was so helpful and kind welcoming us. It was perfect for two adults. We didn’t need a ton of space.

The place is really cozy and we felt really really good inside. Perfect for a couple. I recommend it ! 15-20 min walking from the city center it is perfect to have a quiet place not so far from the center !

The houseboat is a great little getaway for anyone who is looking to stay close to the city centre. Only being a short 10 min walk from Amsterdam Central.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. The only thing was the boat was small but we were expecting that so one should not complain.
