I like everything about the place

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean (and cleaned regularly), the aircon worked well, the staff were friendly, the location is quiet & safe.

The little table/stand in the bathroom was missing a leg and it collapsed. But this was replaced the 2nd day. The dstv stream had initially all channels but by the 3rd night these channels were reduced to only the basic 4. A motion sensor light kept going on & off all night. The shower only ran cold water on the morning of the 3rd day.

The bed was big enough for 2 adults and and infant.quiet place

Great, safe location close to a bakery and coffee shop. Clean and comfortable room— the bed was exceptional. We were blown away by the hospitality by the owners. The bar fridge was not working when we arrived but it was replaced immediately when we commented about the issue. (This was a priority for us because my partner was running Comerades and we needed a fridge to prep for the race). Our room was cleaned daily. The morning of Comerades race the room was left in shambles by us but when we returned late the same day everything had been organized and cleaned! Thank you so much! We will be staying here again if we travel to Durban again in the future!

The location is good.The place is clean . Good to have tea and rusk, we appreciate. The place is beautiful.

We get attended late when we arrived while we already booked on the 7th of May. We even thought it a scam. What is worrying alot is that we screamed for help so loud but we get attended late. The WiFi did not work, and no one showed us how it works.also the TV did not work. We couldn't get in touch with assistant when calling, the number does not work.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were so clean and comfortable, we had a safe, even parking The place is in a nice, quiet, safe suburb and very close to shops and beaches

I was welcomed very well by the host. And they met all my request.

There was no TV in the room and we had to request for it. No Aircon as well. The pool was dirty and the yard looks like you will get hit by snakes.

There are neighbours within the same apartment making it hard to converse as one pleases because we are required to not make noise for them

The room was well organised and clean to an extend. The towels had stains.

The owner does not know how to treat customers. I thought check out time was 11am and the owner said that it was 10am and because it now to 11am I need to pay hundred, which I ddnt have a problem with. Then she started shouting at me saying she is the owner of that place and she makes the rules. I should go check booking.com for the checkout time. I did not want to cause i scene. I just dressed I took my bags. When I was checking out now wanting to pay. I was told it’s okay I can go. I mean why??? Mxi I wouldn’t recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

The room was sooo clean

There was no signage, I was roaming, so I had network challenges. I stood at the closed gate for a long time, without help. I wish they could put a signage for the guest house so that it is easy to locate the place. It was also difficult to reach the host on whatsapp whenever i needed to reach out.

The kitchen was downstairs and the bedroom upstairs and it wasn't convenient to go up and down when preparing a simple breakfast. Also the kitchen could have done with some cleaning as the oven tops were greasy and we had to clean the refrigerator before putting food in. No

The host was very friendly. The owner was kind enough to drop my wife and me at the ship terminus, when I was stuck for transport. Very good value for money for a short stay.

The place was beautiful, clean has everything we needed for a short stay. They even provided for our toddler. The place looked better then in the pictures. In a safe and quiet location.

The staff was very responsive and helpful. They give you as much space as possible without being distant. The location is very peaceful. The place is very spacious and had great exterior and interior features.

The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that there were sauces from previous guests in the cupboard. I appreciate people who pay attention to detail.

I loved that they had plates in case we needed to dish ourselves food, most facilities usually have tea and coffee cups and that’s it. Love how clean and fresh it was both the room and bathroom. I loved that they had a bottle of still water in the fridge. Next time I would appreciate at least two bottles, all in all I loved everything.

They are not good with communication, we called when we got there to check in but they didn't answer the phone. We waited outside but they saw us through the window.

The garage was safe to park our car off rhe street .reserve this when booking . Good check in service. Contacted owner to confirm booking was reserved so check in was stress-free. Owner kindly helped with our bags up the stairs . Truly appreciated the kindness as we had a very very long day . Very clean rooms and smelled good . Has a shower and bath. Good toiletries. Clean bedding and extra super warm blanket . Aircon heater was working well but didn't need it . Tastefully decorated . Had a seperate sleeper couch in the very spacious room .And a separate common dining room with a microwave and Crockery. Had a restful peaceful well deserved rest . It was very close to the venue I needed to get to in the two days I was there. It was clean and well kept. The wifi speed was great. I really appreciated the rusks and bottled water they had for me when I checked in. The room is cleaned daily like at a hotel. I really enjoyed my stay, the room was really comfortable.

The garage door was really narrow, reverse parking is safer. I saw car paint on one side of the garage wall shame I am sure one guest scratched their car there.

Waiting outside the gate and calling, only to get thru to voice, risk of being mugged on the street with bags, and sharing the kichen was not mentioned on the booking.com

Reception: The worst thing that happened was that: - there is no signage, at all, so I struggled to find it and when I did, I wasn't sure it's the right place. - there is no reception area, all gates are locked, the bell at the gate doesn't work, and the contact number o found on Booking.com isn't working. It kept saying the number is not in use. - an hour after I stood outside, someone came out and said she was not informed i was checking in on that day. I was standing in the street feeling very unsafe. But the room was then satisfactory when I finally checked in
