Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Very quiet setting. Very close to the Kalahari Mall to stock up. The room is big with a large and comfy bed. The kitchenette has everything for a short stay. Good WiFi. Rusks and milk provided. Large bathroom with good shower. Parking secure and covered. Friendly owner.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026The location is great, not to far from everything in Upington. Rooms are spacious all is provided, from kettle to fridge to coffee. The owner is very helpful, when you have questions. There is enough parking space available. Rooms and bathrooms are spotless.

I went to The Butchery and Grill for dinner, which is just around the corner - excellent meal and dining experience Morgenbos were very friendly and helpful, there is a swimming pool, the room was great and the location ideal, just 7 mins from the airport. Highly recommended!!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Felt very welcomed by Elize and Rocko! They even spontaneously picked me up from the bus station in the morning. Room was very clean and well-equipped. I feel like the pictures don’t do justice, way more beautiful in reality. Location-wise not perfect, but with a car easy to get everywhere and a safe area to go for a run. I will definitely come back!

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025Elize is a marvellouds host. You can tell that she adores helping people and pampering them. I'm definitely coming visit Upington so I can bring my wife and kids too.
The availability or lack thereof of a good a d reliable taxi service was nerve wrecking and it is frustrating because the guesthouse is a bit out of the way.

The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for — they even gave us medicine when we weren’t feeling well. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare and so appreciated. We felt right at home and will definitely book again. Highly recommended!

The hospitality was exceptional and they were understanding. The place was clean and the staff was friend. Overall I enjoyed my stay with them.

Reviewed Jan 23, 2025Elize is an accommodating, and helpful host. Our rooms were spacious with everything one needs in a chalet. The beds slept very well and crisp clean white linen. Big bathroom with clean and fluffy towels. We could make ourselves some coffee and tea and sat outside on the veranda overlooking a beautiful garden. Enough shaded parking space. Air-conditioning in all the rooms gave us cool sleeping facilities in the summer heat. We recommend Morgenbos Guest Lodge for a pleasant stay in Upington.
Everything was to our liking.
