Kind staff and clean, comfortable room

Unfortunately I feel like the photos misrepresent the property as I had expected something else. The photos of the wooden walkway over the mangrove are of the restaurant next to the hotel, but this is not where you’re staying. It also means that there is no beach access, and all the beaches nearby are private or paid. Most rooms are in one building, there is limited space in the reception area and the large resort next door generates a lot of noise (perhaps it’s their generator?). Overall this place was not worth the distance from the town in my opinion.

Staff were exceptiinally good, very attentive, no request was too much trouble. To locatuin was quiet, its proximity to a great resturant was also handy.

Power had a tendancy to cut out....wifi was iffy..

The room was big and well equipped. The staff was really helpful. The location is amazing if you don't need to go to the center. There is only one restaurant really near but it is also really beautiful.

我们入住的时候在房间丢失了钱，旁边的俄罗斯游客同样丢失了钱。老板很好，非常有责任心，积极配合我们去抓小偷，也赔偿了所有损失，还找到了嫌疑人。但嫌疑人面对所有证据都不肯承认，最后也没办法把他关进监狱。希望老板把那位小偷开除了，不要让他再偷其他游客的钱

Food great. Location great. Beautiful dining area. Catherine went above and beyond to arrange things for us, nothing was too much too ask. Room was great. They surprised me with a buko halo halo because it was my birthday. Very personal and lovely people.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Liegt direkt an einem wunderschönen Restaurant wo es kleine Pavillons direkt über dem Meer gibt. Klimaanlage war vorhanden. Alles war sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Man sollte keine Angst vor Geckos haben die plötzlich im Zimmer auftauchen

Im Vordergrund stand die Freundlichkeit, sie war wirklich außergewöhnlichen! So eine Hilfsbereitschaft, Anteilnahme und Interesse habe ich selten erfahren! Mein Zimmer war sehr groß und wunderschön unter dem Dach gelegen , deshalb recht warm aber die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut! Das ganze Gelände war so liebevoll gepflegt, viele Blumen! Das Essen im Restaurant war authentisch philippinisch und sehr lecker, die Bedienung zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Lage in den Mangroven war interessant! Leider war ich nicht lange genug da um mit dem Kajak durchzupaddeln und ans Meer zu kommen.

Einerseits ist die Lage in den Mangroven interessant andererseits ist man etwas gefangen, weil man nicht ans Meer kann! Aber das ist halt nicht zu ändern.

Il Kerusso Haven hotel si trova a 10 minuti di tuk tuk dalla Baywalk di Puerto Princesa, in posizione molto tranquilla e a due passi dal mare che, però, non è fruibile per la balneazione, anche quando la marea è alta. E' immerso nella natura e, per arrivare al mare, si cammina su una bella passerella di legno immersa nelle mangrovie. La nostra camera, nel sottotetto, era molto carina e ben arredata. Il personale è molto disponibile e sempre pronto a rispondere alle nostre esigenze.

Sarebbe opportuno mettere una cassetta di sicurezza in camera.

10/10 is the view and the proximity of the of the mangroves (a gem). Location though is away from the city - but it was a huge advantage on my opinion. The food in the restaurant was really great. The staff was very helpful.

At first we received another/worse room then it was originally booked, I addressed it to the reception and the problem was solved by relocation. Anyway - it is not pleasant. BUT in the pictures on the Booking under one room is a mixture of all different places, so make sure what you take.

Very clean hotel with a good location. Comfortable beds, large rooms. Extremely kind and responsive staff. Highly recommended.

Really helpful staff who went out of their way to help when our flight was delayed on arrival, staying late to check us in and organised food at a very late hour.

I absolutely loved my stay here. Really good value for money with a private room and own shower and toilet. The restaurant is so beautiful and miss Katherine is so so lovely and helps you with everything.

Nature means more bugs but they kept the rooms clean and spray for mosquitos!

The place is so nice. Restaurant is very nice. Staff are excellent. Bambi is so helpful and very knowledgeable. Eric is so helpful and always ready to assist. If you want the peace and quietness of nature, highly recommended this place. Restaurant is on the water. Very relaxing ambiance.

Location is not walkable to the town. Lots of mosquitos coz it's near the water.

Amazing staff, room feels comfy, and the area near the mangrove is a beauty. However, you should make sure to have some mosquito repellent. No veggie food in the restaurant next to. Also, great wifi and they do have a generator in case of power cut.

The location and customer service excelent, very clean, the restaurant on the mangrove has excelent food, and the canoe included is very nice to see the mangroves.

I would not say that we didn’t like it, but you should take in consideration that the rooms are in the mangroves and especialy if you take the cottage you may have insects in the room. But the attic is very cozy and nice.

The accomodation is bright and peaceful,the room was spacious with hanging space, a comfy bed and a good shower that provided hot water. The staff could not be more helpful. Very polite and attentive. Always resupplying water, coffee. It's worth if you're staying here waiting to book trips till you arrive as they can book all the trips in the area through themselves at slightly cheaper rates than get your guide with pick up from the accomodation. We did one of the snorkling trips at Honda bay, firefly watching and the cave. We really enjoyed all the trips. The hotel can also sort out getting you to El Nido again had we known this we would have used them for this instead of pre booking a bus. The hotel is a short trike journey away from town costing less 150 peso (just shy of 2 English pounds) but it's well located next to a restaurant called Balinsasayaw Seaside which again we can't recommend highly enough. All of the food was delicious. It takes a bit of time for it to be cooked but you know it's fresh and being served hot! The resturant and the hotel work well together with location and service. We can't recommend this place enough we had a lovely stay. If you're on the ground floor you will hear those above you but that's just how the flooring is. But we enjoyed our time and would definitely come back

Really nice room, well decorated with lots of nice touches. The aircon was good and the staff were really nice and fixed any issues we had quickly. Nice quiet area, really good restaurant on the site and some different options in the hotel next door. Convenient for getting to the airport.

I don’t think our stay could have been any better! The location is amazingly pretty. Lush greenery, mangroves,..a small piece of paradise on Earth! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves some of the tastiest food we had in the Philippines and the setting is just wonderful. It’s a bit out of town (10-15min by tuktuk) but don’t let that scare you. You’ll appreciate the peace and quiet and the ride to town is quite nice.

The Location next to the the Restaurant. You are facing many visitors and really is the bad smell from the kitchen. There’s nothing to do in Puerta Princesa besides the Underground River.

Location and the restaurant is so great

We enjoyed our stay at Kerusso Haven. The standout aspect was definitely the staff, who were exceptionally helpful and always ready to assist with anything we needed. They handled the arrangements for transportation, tours, and other services flawlessly, making everything smooth and stress-free. Our room was spacious, offering plenty of comfort during our stay. Overall, Kerusso Haven provided a positive and welcoming experience, and we truly appreciated the dedication and support of the team.

Good location, exactly what we expected a lodge in the jungle! Bambi, Catherine and Derek were very helpful with information & helping with transport. They made us all feel very welcome.

Todo el equipo muy disponible, atento, amable, y súper organizados y orientados a atender a los clientes especialmente Bampi y Catherine. Nos ayudaron en todo momento y a cualquier hora, planificar excursiones, alquiler coche, transfer aeropuerto. Tamaño de habitación correcto, muy cómoda la cama, servicio de boiler para café y agua embotellada incluidos, y terraza.Hay un restaurante entre manglares espectacular, aunque no fuimos por falta de tiempo.

Beautiful place. Very VERY clean room! path to the restaurant is amazing. You feel like it is the end of Puerto Princessa, but that makes that place special. It is so quiet! You can always take a taxi to the main city or walk. All the staff (two women and the new guy) were super nice and helpful! Seriously, if you like quiet and calm you have to stay in this location ♡ if I ever will be in Puerto Princessa I will choose this place again, 100%!

The staff was very friendly. The restaurant next to the hotel (by the same name) was unique as it was built on top of the mangrove. It had an excellent view. We would come back just for the ambiance.

The facility was far from everything. The room was ok but the towels they gave us was not clean. We had to get them change and still it was not as clean as we like (still some stains). The bathroom grout was moldy and it looks like it's never been clean.

The staff was amazing. So accommodating. Rooms were great.

Maybe the location but once we sorted out transport it was fine.

1. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite our very late booking due to a flight cancellation, they assisted us kindly even late at night. 2. The location is about 15 minutes from the airport by van or local tricycle (tuk-tuk). 3. The hotel is peaceful and surrounded by lots of trees. The building itself is beautiful — it reminded me of a mountain chalet in Europe. After the hustle and bustle of Manila, this place felt like a peaceful retreat in nature. 4. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, adjusting the hot water was a bit tricky, but with the warm weather, it was still manageable. The water pressure was good. 5. The restaurant is in a separate building next door — a lovely setting with bamboo huts nestled between mango trees. Breakfast is around €5, and you just need to let them know in advance what time you’d like it. They can also bring the food to your room if needed. 6. The price is very reasonable for what you get.

We were in a ground floor room and could here people above us who were quite noisy souned like they were moving furniture around.

We loved the accommodation, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant next door, which was very affordable and in a lovely setting The staff at Kerusso Haven couldn’t have been nicer and nothing was an option inconvenience to them, they helped us get TukTuk, organised tours, helped us find our way around and organised a kayak for us to use on the mangroves. We felt very welcomed and can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so lovely and rememberable. We would 100% stay here again when we return to Portu Princesa

The location is a little remote, but that makes it better… I arrived much later than expected and the night staff was lovely, and showed me to my room - which felt like a full comfort treehouse. The walk to the restaurant, after sunset, takes a magical appearance, with small warm lights hanging in the mangroves.

We felt very comfortable. It's a truly beautiful place for a fair price. The rooms are spacious and very lovingly but yet functionally furnished. Our room even had a bathtub. There is a fast internet connection, a refrigerator, and a kettle. The staff is really helpful and hospitable. On the second day, the air conditioning in our room stopped working. The owner showed up just 15 minutes later, and when the unit couldn't be fixed, we were immediately given a new room. This is a great service that is second to none. The restaurant is beautifully and romantically located in the middle of mangroves. Since the paths are a bit long, it takes some patience. And I couldn't say that the food is outstanding, but it is somehow ok if you are hungry. There is also a large parking lot and we were able to park our vehicle easily and free of charge. I also don't want to forget to mention that the place is quiet. This compensates for the fact that it's not in the noisy center of the city. Because then, you wouldn't sleep a wink at night (I've lived on the island for several years and know what I'm talking about...)

Not a complaint but if possible, book a room on the second or third floor. Because of the wooden flooring, you can hear any movement on the second floor from the ground floor. I mention this because a guest came to our room on the second floor at 2 am and complained that we were too loud. And that was just because my wife took a few steps to get some water. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't match the high standards of the hotel. It might be advisable to order food from outside (Food Panda, to name one option).

We stayed 3 nights at the start of our trip - overall great start to our trip, Bambi is a super kind and helpful host and we truly enjoyed our stay. Special highlights: - Booked all tours & transfers through Bambi, for competitive prices, which all turned out great - All staff was super helpful - Extra cherry on top: we forgot a Kindle, which Bambi organized to send to El Nido at no additional cost Would choose the stay again!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The staff really worked hard to make your stay enjoyable as - far as the 'hotel' part was concerned

The catering part. Quite frankly it was shockingly poor. The menu is very limited, and to make matters worse, when you select what you want, it was quite often not available, and on one occasion, my second choice was also not available. The menu has no European/ Western dishes. This is fine if you don't want European/Western guests, but please say so! The last time I dined, with neither of my choices of food available, I ordered two 'other dishes' which to me were Inedible (I am European and have a fairly broad palate) Your selection of alcoholic drinks is abysmal How can you offer a hospitality service and not even have a facility to sell a glass of wine, with a meal. Please get real! Your service staff in the 'restaurant' were lovely, but very poorly (or perhaps not at all) trained. On one occasion, I waited over 20 minutes for a bottle of beer.........................and the restaurant was not even 15% full! Finally, on two occasions, I asked if I could speak to the supervisor or duty manager of the restaurant, This resulted in more embarrassment for the poor staff. On both occasions, no supervisor or manager was 'available'.

Our room was located in the attic so even with aircon it was hot as.we also had issues with the temperature of the water when showering it was quite cold.
