Nice decor, very comfortable bed. Brilliant location
Just a 10 minutes walk in to Skipton centre
Very busy road
Friendly and welcoming owner. Comfortable room. Located a few minutes walk away from the town centre and a wide range of nice restaurants. Ideal base for a few days away.
Not that it impacted our break at all but the TV reception in the room was very patchy. Other than that, everything was great.
Excellent guesthouse. Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Given maps information and local food and drink recommendations .Room was good size and we had a kettle and plenty of drink sachets and biscuits. Spotlessly clean . Great location ,10 mins walk from the train station and 10 mins walk to the centre/high street. We had a great time and hope to go back some time .

Thought the place looked a little dated and tired. Eg the hand basin was cracked and the shower door was broken, but owner did say they were waiting on the part.
Very clean and comfortable.

Duidelijkheid bij aankomst. Deur stond open, maar dan lopen wijn.net binnen enbellentoch aan. Daar werd niet op gereageerd
Friendly welcome.
Location was excellent as was the value for money. There was 2 parking spaces off the main road but very steep driveway. Room was very nice and good value for money.
They did not do breakfast but Q&A answers said “We are bed and breakfast” not the end of the world as plenty near by places, however I would expect breakfast if a previously answered question said they did. Also there were tea and coffee facilities but no tea. However when I asked there was an apology and we were given 4 tea. Bags and an apology. I received an email stating check in times but no checkout time. We got a knock on the door at 10-40 asking what time where we leaving as checkout was 10am. I told her the email only stated a check in and she should put it in the same email as check in.
Nice room and not to far away from the town
Would have liked breakfast to be included. The road was noisy and there were a group of people on the pavement near the lights making a noise for hours 🤦♀️
Location
Near busy road so quite a lot of traffic noise
We arrived early and Debbie our host sent me a txt with key safe number and room number so we could let ourselves in ,our room was nice and clean ,bed was really comfortable and we had tea making facilities .The location was only 5 mins walk into town ,overall a very nice stay .
Nothing really.
Location, comfort and lovely staff
Shower and taps a little tricky to get temperature but nothing awful.
Very clean, comfy bed and just a cosy place to stay with a very helpful owner.
Excellent location . lovely comfortable room. Extremely friendly and helpful host . We will definitely be returning.
Nothing to dislike .
Clean comfortable and good location
Nothing to dislike
Clean and cozy room
Room was noisy and a bit warm, the stay was ok but kind of expensive for what it offered
Location is central. Right next to Tesco petrol station so if you have the windows open ( which you have to ) it’s noisy
Very very hot. I know it’s a heatwave but close the curtains maybe? It was noisy as next to Tesco petrol station. The towels didn’t smell fresh so I just used a hand towel. The bed linen also didn’t smell fresh. I think the duvet and pillows need a proper clean. The bed linen was clean but the actual duvet and pillow - it smelt musty and well used and it put me off so I slept without the duvet on me. Smelt like a teenagers bed if that makes any sense. I messaged the hotel to check in early and no response so I walked up only to find they had gone out so I had to walk back into town and find a co working space to use to have a work meeting. Free toiletries comprised of soap… sink in bathroom gurgled a lot randomly and spiked water up through the plug hole and over the sink which was strange so I put the plug in to try and stop it. No one about to report any of this to. I would not stay there again and certainly not for the £99 it cost me. I stay in a lot of hotels/ b and bs with work and all I want is a clean room and a goods night sleep but this didn’t give me that.
Close to amineties
Traffic noise
Super convenient for town.
Parking a little challenging.
Location was very good, with easy access to the town centre.
Good location Clean Great view of the dales Good en-suite
Needs some TLC. Looks dated Paintwork chipped Furniture in bedroom chipped No breakfast or guest lounge
Lovely room clean quiet great location would recommend to anyone
Very welcoming host room very comfortable and clean
Location, cosy and very clean. Lots of places to eat nearby. Plus parking is included.
Fitted sheets would have been nice.
Location was great and the host was lovely. Beautiful sunset.
Nothing!
Debbie was very friendly & welcoming with great recommendations for what to see & where to eat
The room was very hot, but it was the hottest week of the year. An extra fan/air con would have been more comfortable
No breakfast included
Toxic fumes were overwhelming on our last night. Combined wirh the hot temperature of the day made the smell very strong No mention by the host.
Not far from center .Friendley staff .Comfy bed .Room size was good ..Shower lovley and hot .Nice stay
Very clean. Comfortable bed and great facilities. Good vue fir money.
Be aware there's no lift and could be 3 floors to climb.
Great location with free parking outside on the street. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Tea, coffee facilities in the room.
Would have liked a better shower but this wouldn't stop me booking again.
The owner was really friendly, even going to the trouble of moving her car so that we could park on the property. The room was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect for visiting Skipton and just leaving the car behind and exploring on foot. The train and bus station were nearby if you wanted to travel further afield. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were an added bonus.
The location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful
The room and the shower were small.
Great location for town centre & lovely view from the room. Comfortable bed & pillows plus Everything needed in the room which made for a pleasant nights stay. Friendly host too.
As property is situated next to main road there was alot of traffic noise especially if the window is open . But obviously not something the host can control .
near town
stairs to room
The perfect location with an immaculate room well equipped, even had a fan for the hot weather. Great host Debbie let us check in early leaving the roomkey in a key safe.
Nothing to dislike at Highfield.
Nicely decorated clean room. Good location, short walk into the centre
Parking a slight issue at the property itself but did park on a street not too far away.
Situation of property to town centre
Wi-fi not working- tried several times and no one around for password details
Clean easy access to Skipton and plenty of parking close by for free
Everything was perfect. Such a great welcome from Debbie when we met her and throughout our stay. Great location warm cosy bedroom.
Nothing really
Clean, well presented room with good bathroom facilities.
Location on a busy road so was a little noisy.
No Breakfast but plenty of places to get som
Parking was a bit tight, but ok In the surrounding area.
Clean, friendly, warm
Close to road, traffic noises
Lovely hotel, room was comfortable and clean. It was in a perfect location to get into the town centre. Staff were friendly too
Loved everything
Beautiful guesthouse. The room was immaculately clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a perfect stay, including refreshments, fresh towels, and toiletries. Perfect location only 3 minutes walk to the town centre. The host was lovely.

Arrived on a very cold day, from the from door to the bathroom everywhere was lovely and warm. Very clean. Nicely furnished & decorated. Everything thought of, even hooks in bathroom. Relaxing place to stay.
Unfortunately they don't do breakfast anymore
No breakfast
The owner was lovely, very warm, and approachable. She let us into the room earlier because we arrived early asking to leave our luggage. The room was bright, nicely decorated, and clean. The bed was very comfortable . We had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely be back. Thankyou.
There wasn't anything to dislike.
Location was perfect, clean, functional, staff/Debbie was very friendly and helpful she made our stay enjoyable.
Wifi did not work, the room was crowded with a lot of Knick knacks it felted cluttered. Really the big thing was the lack of internet.
Excellent host and location
Clean and welcoming .
Friendly, Brilliant position for town, Railway station and bus station.
Possibility of breakfast would have been ideal, not every day though . Obviously pre ordered .
Good location. Nice size room.
Nothing.
Clean, comfortable, well equipped ideally situated for a weekend break in Skipton.
Unfortunately the quest house is situated on the junction of a busy road. Although this did not cause us any problems and we were able to sleep despite the road noise.
Comfy bed
Noisy road .
In a good location walking distance to town. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed, room clean and well equipped.
No heating in bathroom.

I had a lovely stay at Highfield guest house and Debbie was a wonderful host. Central to everything within walking distance and lovely views on top floor of the dales.
Lovely and welcoming.Very pleasant room and very good location.
The shower was a bit small n cold but wouldnt stop me staying again.
landlady was welcoming, offered us choice of rooms. chose room with a bath rather than just shower. was clean.
room was really outdated. furniture looked like it came out of a film star's dressing room, all fancy mirrored furniture with a clear plastic chair and no decent wardrobe. as the property did not do breakfast, would have liked to see some local menu's for restaurants or takeways.
Debbie was very welcoming and helpful with regards to local restaurants. Room was very comfortable and clean.
The warm welcome and the warm room. The location was ideal.
That we had to go out for breakfast.
It was a get location
Nothing
Excellent host, was extremely helpful and kind.
Debbie was lovely. Room clean. Coffee and tea making facility available and a tv that worked! Comfortable bed. Everything you need for the bathroom. Great location as only a 5 minute walk for us to the town centre.
There is limited parking on site. Fortunately, we were able to find one available spot on the main road so that helped. Our room was at the front of the building which meant we could hear the constant flow of traffic but as we were only staying for one night it wasn't a big problem. The shower head over the bath was small. Therefore the water flow wasn't very strong.
Staff amazing Debbie very welcoming
Great location 2 minutes walk into town place very clean and tidy must see the castle and have a trip on the canal places to eat and drink are everywhere 😀
Lovely owner of premises. Very comfortable guest house. Would go again.
Nothing.
Loved it and host was so helpful. Perfect location right near the centre.

Lovely hotel, quick to walk to from the station, very clean and comfortable and super friendly staff! Highly recommend if you’re in Skipton!

Great value for money. Warm welcome from the lovely owner, Debbie. Excellent location, five - ten minutes walk from the centre of Skipton and other attractions such as the castle and canal. Plenty of free on-street parking right outside the property. Nice clean, warm, double room on the top floor (stairs not a problem for us but check with the property when booking if you'd struggle). Room had everything we needed for a short stay.
Downside of being so close to town was the location on a busy main road so there was some traffic noise but fairly quiet midnight - 6am so we still slept okay.
