Leeuwenzee is located in a picturesque setting. The room and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is perfectly situated to take a walk down to the promenade or to enjoy different restaurants.

We stayed at the guesthouse for 3 nights and were very happy with our overall experience. Even though we arrived later than expected, we were still welcomed with a delicious breakfast, which we really appreciated. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The owner is a truly wonderful and lovely lady — always kind, caring, and happy to share great local tips, which made our stay even more special. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There was also parking directly in front of the apartment, which was very convenient. We left our rental car there and used Uber to get around the city, which worked perfectly. The location is freat, and overall we felt very comfortable and well looked after. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse and would be happy to stay here again.

Nette Besitzerin, sehr sauber und ordentlich, kostenloser Kaffee und Cappuccino. Blick auf das entfernte Meer von der Terrasse.

Hellhörig. Jedes Auto auf der Straße ist gut zu hören. Um 4:00 Uhr für mehrere Minuten lautes Rauschen aus der Wand, ggf hat ein anderer Gast gerade geduscht. In der Dusche Wechsel zwischen kalt und heiß, vielleicht durch Händewaschen anderer Gäste ausgelöst. Eigene Parkplätze reichen nicht für alle Gäste.

Ein sehr gemütlich zentrales Guesthouse mit ruhiger Nachbarschaft.

On a busy road but our room faced the back so it was not noisy. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea in the communcal area.

Wij vonden alles aan ons verblijf geweldig. Maar vooral het vriendelijke personeel en de lieve eigenaresse. We hadden een late vlucht en we konden een hele dag in ons appartement blijven waardoor we een relaxte dag hadden. Mochten we weer naar Kaapstad gaan, komen we zeker terug!

Jeanette, Maureen and all the staff were amazing. Made our family group from all over the world feel so welcome and could not have done more for us. Rooms are comfortable and the location perfect.

Very good location, a short stroll to the cafes and sea/boulevard. Jeanette is an excellent host, very accommodating, helpful and loves to have a chat. Staff are very friendly.

The hosts are just lovely. The whole place is clean and tidy and the coffee was great.

Breakfast was fine to set the day, we ate out mainly. Janet's staff were so well trained, but not only that, they were always happy to help with anything we asked of them ..always with a smile. Janet's provided a retreat that is clean, welcoming and a great place to stay. As a location it's ultra convenient, and sitting on the balcony, by the pool each evening, watching the world go by with Janet's other guests, made the holiday extra special for my brother Hilton and myself. Thank you Janet and your lovely staff. We'll definitely recommend everyone to make this your home from home

Nous sommes arrivés avec plus 1h d’avance, nous avons été accueillit chaleureusement et l’équipe s’est démené pour nous rendre l’attente confortable. Super localisation (pratique 10-15 min en voiture /Uber des différents quartier du Cap). Chambre spacieuse, agréable avec une petite terrasse. Possibilité de stationner à la guesthouse en sécurité et gratuitement. Très bon rapport qualité/prix Nous recommandons vivement !

WiFi var inkludert og fungerte fint, Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale, rent og pent. Vi hadde kjøkken i leiligheten og benyttet oss derfor ikke av gjestehusets frokost. Greit fellesområde og uteområde. Greit med parkering. Om du ville benytte kollektivt tilbud er bussen - MyCITI - like i nærheten slik at du kan komme til sentrum eller til beach'ene. Kort vei ned til Beach Front og turområdet langs sjøen/Sea Point - hvor Sea Point Pavilion Swimming Pool kan benyttes. Gangveien går helt til Clifton og Camps Bay og motsatt vei kan du gå til V&A Waterfront.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room is very neat and clean. Bathroom has been updated recently and lovely. Very good located and easy to find. We had everything we needed for a short stay over. Even though we had the room on the very busy main road, we were not bothered by any noise.

We had a very pleasant stay. Jeanette and her staff were so helpful . There is everything you need in the rooms including fridge and microwave. The studios have a fully fitted kitchen if you prefer to cook. Coffee /Tea and chilled water freely available too.

The location is perfect, owner and staff are the friendliest and most caring people ever and it is an extremely good value for the money. Breakfast looked very nice but we didn't take it

High Level Rd. can be noisy at times but you don't choose this Guesthouse if you want it super quiet and remote, you're in Sea Point with a 5 mins walk to the promenade ;)

I liked everything , the only downside was a steep hill

The location is on quite a steep slope but manageable. The staff were very helpful with the parking and allocated space for our 2 cars upon arrival. Breakfast was simple and nice with additonal ZAR150 per pax which is reasonable. There are a lot of restuarant choices along the main road which is two junctions down the slope (5 mins walk). There is a well equipped kitchenette with induction cooker, microwave or oven and toaster if you feel like to cook. We had a pleasant stay while exploring Cape Town.

All of it - Jeanette and her staff were so warm and welcoming (much appreciated after 24 hours of travelling). She was very helpful with guidance about to approach the city too. The room was comfortable and clean with a great shower. Lovely light reception area. Good location. All in all a perfect stay. Thank you

Kleinschalig, in een veilige buurt. Op loopafstand genoeg leuke ontbijtplekjes en restaurantjes. Met Uber hele goed uitvalsbasis voor alle activiteiten die je wilt doen. De eigenaresse is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik heb het een heel prettig verblijf gevonden.

Geen opmerkingen. Als je van luxe (groot zwembad, bar, terras etc) houdt en van midden in de stad zitten, dan moet je iets anders kiezen. Maar ik vond het er heerlijk!

We had a great stay at this guesthouse and even returned for a second stay! The staff was excellent and always helpful. The rooms are well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, and the sea views are lovely. Breakfast was delicious with really good coffee. Highly recommended!

Wir waren für knapp eine Woche in Leeuwenzee Guesthouse und waren echt begeistert. Die beiden Gastgeber und die Service Kraft waren super nett, hilfsbereit und boten einen tollen Service. Die Zimmer waren steht’s sauber und die Lage des Hauses war sehr gut - kurze Wege zur Strandpromenade, Restaurants, Cafés und Supermärkten. Zusammengefasst ein toller Aufenthalt und sehr zu empfehlen!

The accommodation is very clean and well maintained, and the location is great. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

A beautiful clean well managed authentic Capetown bed and breakfast .Fantastic storage beds were very comfortable large enough room large fridge ,aircon very good .absolutely cannot fault our stay with the lovely Janet and her staff .
