Very good location - close to the centre. Well built and maintained rooms - ours had a spa bath. Very affordable. Would definitely recommend it.

Would have liked tea and coffee in the room but we knew it was available in the shared lounge.

Walking with a heavt suitcase to the hotel was less comfortable then I expected. A bit further from the bus station and you have to cross busy roads.

Great Location. Close to the Marina and to cafe's Restaurants and shopping. We were very happy with our overall experience staying at Parkhill and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Shower over the spa. Always a touch difficult as you get older but a minor thing really.

The facilities are very modern, especially even have Air conditioner! Also there is communal lounge. The bathroom is also clean and the room are also spacious. It is not far from the city centre and some nice restaurants. Owner pick up phones very quickly.The price is also good.

It is generally really perfect, but it would be great if the reception lock could be improved that not suddenly broken. But it is a really great accommodation

5 sterren??? Waar hebben ze die gekregen? De Mickey Mouseclub?! Het is een redelijk verblijf als je 2 of 3 sterren verwacht. Meer klopt gewoon echt niet. Wij gingen hier daarom ook met de verkeerde verwachtingen heen. Dat er naast het hotel verbouwt wordt, dat er geen receptie is (ondanks de bordjes), het lawaai van de weg, het enkel glas, het niet kunnen zetten van koffie op de kamer en dat de wc maar blijft lopen de hele nacht telt vervolgens op bij de slechte ervaring.

Tolle Lage auch für alleinreisende Frauen zu empfehlen. Lokale und Pubs alles gemütlich zu erreichen. Auch Sehenswürdigkeiten Autotechnisch nahe. Super sauber. Ideale Unterkunft.

An easy 5 minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Convenient to food, sights, and shopping but just outside of the central district. A quiet, tranquil spot to rest after a day of activities. A great sized room with a large lounge and kitchenette across the hall and a sunny terrace overlooking the river.

It’s convenient as it’s right in town, the whole stay was very comfortable as well as the setting of the place inside and view looking out from the garden area.

The spouting outside. I couldn’t enjoy a coffee outside in the morning.

The place exceeded my expectations: spacious room, comfortable bed, adjustable bed lights as well as the usual ceiling lights, bathroom spacious, everything very neat& tidy and of better quality than usual accommodation. A very well-stocked kitchen nearby, with dining and lounge furniture also.

As I have a walking disability, the steepness of the outside of the property was uncomfortable and a bit difficult. The street was very steep also which meant that I really had to drive rather than walk which was a pity as the Town Basin etc is very close by.

Travelled for work. Comfortable stay located centrally and near amenities and where I needed to be. Cosy room and nice facilities.

This spot is the perfect spot for all of your adventures in Whangrei. It was an easy walk to all the local areas and just a 6 minute walk to the bus stop. It was a great place to rest at night while exploring the beautiful country side. I would stay here again.

Large rooms adjoining lounge facility - had games, cooking etc. ideal for 2 couples in the 2 rooms with ensuite each and a shared lounge. Met owner very friendly.

The bed was wonderful to sleep on. The property was in a good position for us - going down to see the yachts etc and easy to get in and out of the city.

A nice comfortable seat to sit in, within the room so you could relax, read, work etc. Not ideal at times to do on the bed or in the lounge.

Have stayed here before for work. Excellent location, lovely and clean. Even stayed in the same room as my last visit!

Neat and tidy. Very handy to town and Intercity Stop. There's parking on site. Host has thought of everything required, down to a multi-adpator!

No breakfast was provided and we ran out of milk in the shared lounge and it wasn't replaced even after asking. We found the smaller room was very noisy with the passing traffic

This is perfect for exploring Whangarei. It was just a 5 minute walk to get to the marina, Hundertwasser Museum and restaurants. Rob gave local information and we enjoyed the Thai restaurant he recommended. The lounge area was superb for relaxing.
