Beautiful views. Lovely apartment. The hosts were easy to communicate with. One met us and showed us how to get into the apartment and where the private deck -in addition to the gorgeous balcony- was. Very well located. You could have a vacation just sitting on the balcony!!

L’emplacement est parfait. Le propriétaire était très gentil a tout expliqué et nous a bien conseillé. Depuis la terrasse on peut voir les aurores boréales même avec la lumière autour. J’y retournerais.

The room was very clean, close to the airport express bus.

Amazing view of harbor since it was a high floor, very easy to get everywhere, slightly away from the center of city which is a plus, Siljie met us and gave an orientation of the building, apartment, things to do, texted with recommendations on where to eat, excellent value, no complaints. Restaurants within 2-3 minutes walk. Bed was very comfortable and warm. Quiet, warm, clean, charming setting. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone visiting Tromso! We stayed 7 nights and were very pleased. We were considering staying at one of the hotels, and very happy we chose this apartment instead.

Nothing really significant; perhaps could have clarified need to bring own shampoo, body wash; not a big deal.

The apartment was modern, warm and cosy. It has magnificent views, great central location to the sites of Tromso. Frode was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to welcome us to Tromso.

During cold winter, bedroom fellt chilly without heater. Only three layers of blankets.

The apartment is close to the city centre which is super convenient. The owner was super friendly told us a bit about himself and explained everything really well. I honestly wouldn’t have wanted any other property. It had amazing views and best of all we were lucky enough to see the northern lights perfectly. I had been on two previous tours trying to catch them spending over £400 and in the end I didn’t even need to leave my apartment XD. Highly recommended this place to anyone staying in Tromso.

the awesome view. how cozy it was. how an extra heater was provided so we could utilise it during our stay. how near it was to walk to supermarkets and the town centre, where we could enjoy the christmas market and do some souvenir shopping.

Location is really central. The place is well done, great view, very clean and well appointed. The host communicated well.

It was advertised as a two bedroom. There are in fact two rooms with beds but one is the livingroom, which has a pull out couch. That should be made clearer in the notice. The host suggested we should have looked at the floor plan in the pictures. I would suggest that too, if you need two bedrooms, as we did.

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung in Tromsø! Die zentrale Lage ist unschlagbar – man erreicht alles in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß und hat gleichzeitig eine traumhafte Ruhe in der Wohnung. Besonders gefallen hat uns die moderne Ausstattung: dimmbare LED-Lampen für gemütliche Abende, ein Induktionsherd zum schnellen Kochen, ein super bequemes Boxspringbett und sogar ein Fernseher mit AirPlay – perfekt, um auch deutsche Inhalte zu streamen. Das Highlight war für uns aber die Postkarten-Aussicht – egal ob morgens beim Kaffee oder abends beim Entspannen, der Blick ist einfach unvergesslich. In der direkten Nachbarschaft gibt es zudem einen fantastischen Bäcker für frische Brötchen am Morgen sowie ein sehr gutes Restaurant, sodass man kulinarisch bestens versorgt ist. Insgesamt eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, in der wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben!

Our stay was absolutely perfect – we spent two very comfortable nights here and truly enjoyed every moment. The host was incredibly kind, providing helpful recommendations about the surrounding neighborhood. There were also clear and detailed instructions in the room, which made everything so easy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and several supermarkets were just around the corner. The location is also ideal – just a short walk to the meeting point for local tours, and right next to a beautiful bridge with stunning views. We were especially grateful that, despite our early flight arrival, the host kindly allowed us to check in 40 minutes earlier, which helped us a lot even with the limited time. The bus stop right outside the building made getting around super convenient. Overall, this was an amazing stay with great value. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality – we hope to return again soon!

Location, view, equipment

We were met by the owner near to the apartment and he showed us how to access the building as well as the outside balcony. The apartment has a good size entrance area to hang up your clothes. There is a tiny bedroom where you have to shuffle around the bed to get in but we had very comfortable night’s sleeping during our stay. There is a compact bathroom which has a washing machine that was very useful. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are all in the same larger room and are very nice and modern. The kitchen can be closed off with sliding doors. There is a balcony off the lounge and we were able to see the northern lights in one night during our stay. It seems that the peak viewing time is 8:30-10pm in the first week in January. It’s a very modern apartment and nicely decorated.

The lounge area is a touch cold and we found an electric bar heater in a cupboard which helped heat the room so look for this.

This apartment was warm, cosy and very comfortable with wonderful views of Tromsø and the surrounding mountains. Vervet is a lovely area of Tromsø with a wonderful bakery and great places to eat, just a 10 minutes walk from the centre of town along the waterfront. Our hosts were very helpful and flexible, even when our bus was very late due to bad weather. They met us nearby and showed us around the apartment and surrounding area. We hope to return in the summer and would love to stay here again.

We loved everything about this apartment.

The penthouse apartment is very elegant in equipment, comfortable in environment, and the night view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is beautiful! Our family of three was very satisfied with our stay. The double bed in the room and the sofa bed in the living room were both comfortable to sleep in. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom was clean and new, and the hot water supply was sufficient. When traveling to Tromso, it is highly recommended to stay in this penthouse apartment!

Host was amazing we came to stay for New Years Eve but had to leave the next day. The rooftop was superb, you're able to see the whole city panoramic view of the mountain and fireworks, we even got to catch some northern lights on the rooftop. The host came to personally meet and greet us and gave us the key, he also explained very carefully how to get to the property etc. amazing host, super friendly and super reachable at all times if you had any questions. The host is a Doctor and an ERF rescuer , amazing guy !

It is a clean and newly refurbished apartment, good for small groups. Cosy, exceptional views and comfortable.

Icy pathway when coming from road, not ideal for luggage. Note, that the 2nd double bed is a fold out 2 seater couch in the lounge room. Only one shared bathroom.

After staying there for 8 nights, we are trying hard but cannot imagine any better accommodations in Tromsø. The location is quite perfect with great restaurants and cafés right next door, the harbour and city centre with many more around the corner, and a bus stop for the excellent public transportation close-by as well. Within the brand-new Vervet complex, this apartment might have one of the best possible locations right on the uppermost floor with a great view to the south over the opposite buildings towards the harbour. While the bedroom is only slightly bigger than the bed itself (which is of the most comfortable kind and we slept like babies), this did not bother us at all as it is more than sufficient for its primary purpose (and some others) and the rest of the apartment is actually quite spacious with more than enough room for clothes, shoes, and luggage. The kitchen is extraordinarily well-equipped and offers a big, round dinner table. As the living room is really cosy with two comfortable sofas, a small desk, and a state-of-the-art Smart TV with good sound system (you can use your own Netflix, Disney+, or Amazon Prime accounts), we have been most comfortable spending quite some time relaxing inside during those two days with awfully bad weather. Besides the small balcony adjacent to the living area, there is a huge rooftop patio on the same floor which would be great for an outdoor picnic during summer or watching the Northern Lights at night during winter. Most importantly, the photos shown online are not misleading in any way – everything looks exactly like this in reality with tasteful decoration and great lighting. The only thing even better than the apartment was our host Frode who greeted us personally on arrival, showed us around, and was a great and fun contact throughout our stay as well as afterwards. Unfortunately, we have not been able to meet Silje as well, but we will make up on that during our next stay as we will definitely come back!

Nothing – everything was just about perfect.

Property is nice and big and in a good location.

The induction didn’t seem to work and they didn’t fix it during our stay. Also, the bedroom is pretty small and without any heater. Couldn’t adjust the temperature of the entire apartment as well.

It’s a new apartment with everything you need. The view from the balcony or rooftop is nice towards the mountain.

Everything was just exceptional

It’s close to the city center, and it has everything we need. The view from the balcony was superb, it was clean and modern. The beddings was perfect, and I really love the kitchen!

One thing I realized is almost every property that we stayed in didn’t have a shower gel including this one. Maybe it’s normal in Norway? But otherwise, it was perfect.

Beautiful and modern apartment with everything you could wish for and the bed was super comfortable. In a great location and next to many restaurants. You are in the centre of the city in 5 minutes by foot. Gorgeous view from the apartment. The owners are very friendly, showed us everything and were always quick to respond to our questions.

Modern, spacious and clean apartment, situated at the top floor, with an amazing view towards the fjord and the opposite mountain. There is a good wifi connection, a wide tv and also a full furnished kitchen with all the amenities you would need for cooking. The sofas from the living room are extendable, but there is also a small bedroom with a double bed. The building is situated right next to the Tromsø bridge - from there you can easily reach by foot both Tromsø center, as well as the other side of the bridge where you will find the ice cathedral and the cable car. Frode & Silje are very friendly and welcoming hosts. Communicating with them was very easy. They made sure we had everything we needed in order to make our stay great. We warmly recommend this place to anyone visting Tromsø.
