Shrimpers

The property was only a couple of metres from the beach, which is what I wanted. The shops were only a short distance away too. The property was well equipped, comfortable and relaxing. The bedrooms were well decorated and very relaxing.

The stairs, they were very narrow and steep, but easy to get used too.

Shrimpers was a lovely, cosy environment - perfectly situated both near the beach and the town centre, and even has a restaurant and beach/sweet shop directly across the road. The furniture was very comfy and the shower excellent; we were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it to everyone, it was a perfect Southwold experience!

Exceptional location, cosy house with effective heating and a well appointed bathroom.

Numerous signs of wear and tear, particularly in the kitchen (especially the cooker) and the paint work.

Location ,close to beach and High street. Cottage felt friendly and welcoming. Nicely decorated and had all we needed. Would definitely visit again. Agent was helpful and acted immediately when needed.

Parking was an issue but just about possible. Crockery could do with a sort out! Would have liked a few more coffee mugs, less of an incoherent assortment. Stairs were a bit of a challenges narrow and steep but fine if taken carefully, part of the quirky nature of an old cottage. A dishwasher would have been nice.

Lovely cottage - perfect spot clean tidy homely and rather cozy. Next to a fabulous gastro pub which goes quiet at 11. Best location for town and beach.
