Close to the town centre but comfortable and quiet.
Nothing
Location. They allowed me to park for a few hours after checking out.
Narrowness of stairs leading to rooms. No interaction with staff.
Cute comfy characterful
the room was lovely
nothing really
Great room, Comfortable bed.
Shower was poor. Suggest fitting a thermostatic Shower (£30) rather than 2 mixer taps. Room is very noisy due to single glazing.
The property was historical and had many interesting features e.g. original wooden beams. There was a good Italian restaurant on the ground floor. The location was opposite a 15th century church. We enjoyed our one night's stay there.
I don't remember.
Great location, quirky room, comfortable bed.
Restaurant was good; wide choice of Italian meals. Dessert was especially good value. Staff very helpful. Room had character, plenty of storage, comfortable armchair and desk.
Not quite near enough to the railway stations. Getting a taxi was difficult.
Clean bathroom. Good-sized room.
Breakfast in a hotel in the UK - unless specifically stated - normally has a cooked breakfast option. However, you served just a continental. Be upfront about this or - like me - people will feel deceived. .
Close to the Bell Foundry, market place and Queens Park. Fans provided, bed comfortable and plenty of hot water
Due to the one way system, a little card to find
Nice big room, comfortable bed.
No airconditioning and the corridors and stairs need a refresh.
Big Room
Gallery is not clean enough
Huge room. Fans provided in heatwave conditions. Fantastic restaurant underneath the rooms
The UK heatwave. Not the property fault!
Great location in city. Excellent food.

Excellent place to stay Great rooms Fantastic restaurant . Can eat in your room if you prefer .
More air con / industrial fans . The weather is warm
Such a lovely hotel. Staff so so nice and restaurant smelt amazing. I had already eaten or I’d have gone in. Was packed
Nothing
Lovely room, friendly staff and very clean. Good location.
Only issue was the breakfast was very early for a weekend so we missed it.
Loved the room and the location
The breakfast was disappointing after the wonderful dinner the night before - I expected more.
staff were lovely, room was great for what I needed. Handy parking. Technically my room didn’t come with parking but due to the availability in the hotel, I was able to use the car parking which was great. Some lovely close by places as well walking distance.
I would have loved an option for some cooked breakfast, the room was quite hot because the radiators were on but even when turned off the room trapped a lot of heat in, sadly due to being on a main road the bin men woke me up very early the next day due to needing the windows open, the venue cannot help this though.
Nothing. 9n5
Could not check in till gone 6pm fan in room to noisy power trip in rooms at least twice
The staff and the food were excellent
Hastings is a splendid room. Very convenient to be located above an authentic Italian restaurant.
Parking awkward.
Location. Staff. Car park. Breakfast.
Stayed in the Beaumont Room for two nights, it was just beautiful. Food in the restaurant downstairs was amazing
Good location, also having parking on site, nice room , light above mirror not working making it harder to shave, did have a fan which used to it’s max with temperatures 24 at night when we stayed.
All covered above.
STAFF WERE ACCEPTABLE.
DESCRIPTION OF LOCATION WAS NOT ACCURATE. APPEARED TO INDICATE IT WAS AN OLLD MANOR.
had to leave at 7 so couldn't get breakfast which was disappointing. No way to access breakfast lounge, it was still locked at 7 20.
The rooms were nice and big.
No complaints, everything meet my expectations.
Caravelli accommodated our early arrival with storage of baggage and a key foe entry when we arrived back from a dinner with friends in London followed by a coach journey with the group back to Loughborough.
Very pleasant room with very comfortable bed. Food was excellent.
Parking was a bit snug.
Love the property very quaint and quirky. This is my second stay here 😁. The bed was so so comfy and the food in the Italian restaurant below was outstanding. 💕
The only thing I would have liked is to be able to open a window slightly but I loved the property and loved my room
Staff excellent. Menu Food excellent.
A little noisy at night. Carpets on landing need replacing. Breakfast was OK.
The owner was incredibly helpful allowing me to leave our car at the property early morning for our stay that evening, the continental breakfast was very much appreciated and filling.
Although an amazing looking roll top bath is in the room we could not find a plug!! It was late and somebody may have helped us out but sleep was calling.
Good location, easy walk from the train station and not far from town centre. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The staff were very accommodating, letting us check in a little early so we could get to a wedding on time.
We were directly above the restaurant and it was a little noisy at night. The breakfast was a little basic.
staff friendly rooms were clean and bed was very comfy was abit cold in the room wen we 1st arrived in the afternoon and was cold in the morning wen we got up
the hotel water was only lukewarm and was abit noisey from the restaurant below but that is to be expected
A very noisy stay, as they have a restaurant on the ground floor. Could do better with support staff. Also, they have provided an invoice after repeatedly asking for more than a week. Very unhelpful, even over a telephone call.
Lovely property , room was amazing , food was amazing highly recommended
Nothing
Location and friendliness were top notch. Bathroom was simple but very clean, which I appreciate very much. Breakfast was good.
The lighting in the bedroom was too bright and harsh. Also while the bed was comfortable, I wasn't able to sleep well as it was itchy, but perhaps that's only for my case.
Room was adequate for a one-night stay but nothing exceptional. Restaurant is the best part as the food is superb.
Bathroom impracticable with a dangerous step up from the small bedroom. Bed uncomfortable with nasty polyester-type sheets.
The location and free on site parking
The bathroom was too small with poor lighting
The room was stunning everything we wanted
Parking maybe but staff soon helped us
Friendly staff, good meal, nice looking room
Single glazed windows onto a noisy street outside all night, thin walls so could hear other guest's TVs, them moving around, slamming doors, until past midnight. Disturbed by (wasn't asleep) music at 7.20. which may have been the receptionist. Disappointed it wasn't clear in description that fireplace ornamental only and doesn't work. No spare toilet roll, just to top it off!
Room spacious, clean. Breakfast good Dinner excellent
Plumbing a little noisy.communal stairs a little tired
Lovely spacious and comfortable room and the food was amazing.
More clarity about needing to order a cooked breakfast the night before.
Restaurant is excellent, authentic Italian. Parking available for overnight stay. Staff are genuine. Almost could be in down town Napoli, just need a Muriel of Maradona.

I stayed here mon to friday for several weeks business and loved it. Three magnificent rooms - Beaumont Huntingdon and Hastings- above a really buzzy but simple Italian restaurant ( no noise in rooms thouh) and an excellent continental breakfast ( mixed meats/ftuit/ cheese fresh pastries etc and good coffee. I really enjoyed everything, so much nicer than big chain hotels. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
2 single rooms were too small for me.
The staff were lovely and the food was excellent in the restaurant (not included in the price, but it's mainly a restaurant and it tasted really authentic and home cooked). The room was spacious and the bedding was clean and comfy.
I had approximately 2 hours sleep due to a constant loud sound of running water and clanking from heating pipes and the radiator. I turned the radiatior off but this didn't help. Terrible. Also, the room was very tired with strips of wall paper missing and the bathroom was grubby. For this reason I would avoid this as a place to sleep, but recommend it for the restaurant experience.
Room small but bed comfy, very small bathroom and shower. Good parking, very central location and very good continental breakfast
Size of room and bathroom
Good, continental breakfast,
Only issue was a noisy radiator through the night in the double room so sleep was affected.
A character property in the town with parking
The property is great. I was in Town for business. The Government should revitaliseLoughborough Town and not let it deteriorate.
nice restaurant and central location
filthy stair carpet and smelly, dirty, tatty walls, random furniture in the room, blind broken. desperately needs refurbishing but it could be done without costing a fortune. outside door locked on arrival so couldn’t get in, when we finally did we received a poor reception, no explanation, no apology, no welcome. restaurant looked tired and tatty round the bar area.
The staff were so welcoming lovely spacious room the bed was so comfy, if you get chance make sure to eat at the restaurant the food was incredible
Dinner was fantastic
Nice comfortable bed, clean and warm
Bad light in bathroom to get shaved, very old TV, no cooked breakfast these days not acceptable
Location was just out of town centre, we didn`t get any traffic noise. Breakfast was continental (we prefer a full English) but this was very acceptable. The room was large with what looked like a new carpet. Parking was easy and free.
The room was overly hot, had to turn the radiators down. A few problems with the room. The large radiator was constantly gurgling with running water. One of the bed wall lights didn`t work properly. There was what looked like a damp patch in the bedroom. Ensuite shower room was extremly hot, no adjustment on the heated towel rail. Ensuite door was awkward to open and close due to a dropped hinge. The extractor fan didn`t work. Plaster was cracking and a damp patch was appearing in shower room. Hand shower bracket in cubicle was broken.
We liked the location as its close to the center. We liked the room and it was spacious. The restaurant down stairs seemed to have a good atmosphere. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices.
It was a bit hard to check in, as we had to contact the staff to open the door. Once in they were polite and helpful.
It was as expected, cheap accommodation, adequate room and facilities. No one was around at check-out, but it is a restaurant first, rooms second, I would stay again and would have an evening meal, it look good and was busy.
No where to leave my room key at checkout
It was very friendly and welcoming environment. We had a great skeep.
Was lovely and clean and very nice
Breakfast no cooked options very sparse selection
Good selection
Fan from kitchen very noisy and heard in bedroom which kept us awake
It was ok didn’t realise we had to order a cooked breakfast the night before, but probable our problem as we arrived late otherwise everything was fine
There is nothing we didn’t like
Excellent restaurant, great atmosphere & good food
The bed was extremely comfortable.
Everywhere looked tired. We ate in their restaurant on Monday night. Neither of us enjoyed our meal. My husband was sick in the early hours of Tuesday morning and has still not recovered (Wednesday).
dinner great also had room service on request
room really hot although I appreciate everywhere was hot that day
I like that it was rustic although it could do with a bit of renovation (the room I stayed in at least). Shower was great, bed was comfortable. I absolutely loved the restaurant, and the location is really good too.
Car park is very limited, stairs and hallway leading to the rooms could do with some visual improvement for atmosphere and better impression, room could do with some freshen up keeping the rustic visual.
We received a very friendly welcome & stayed in a charming bedroom with a lovely comfy bed! The continental breakfast was perfect.
Just the blinds in the room needed replacing as they didn't work.
Staff were amazing and helpful. Location was ideal for my centrally, and room was cosy and quiet.
Car park at back was small but plenty parking at front.
Location and food superb.All good.
Reminded me not to leave shirt in wardrobe. Joking my fault. Brillint break.
It was ideal having the restaurant on the same premises. The continental breakfast was fine.
It wasn't a problem for me, but not being able to access the building until 5pm could have been inconvenient .
Perfect
Would have been nice if a cooked English breakfast was available
The room had a funny smell
Exactly as it said on the tin.
If I was being picky the car park was a little small and awkward to get into.
QUIRKY ROOM
Dirty carpets in the hallway outside the room.
