Excellent
Can't think of anything
Nothing the stay was the worst experience I have ever had and feel lied to with the rating of the venue.
The rooms walls are wafer thin and the couple next door were talking very loud with the tv up so loud until 3.15am. On top of this I had to endure the woman moaning and groaning at various times from 11pm when I tried to go to sleep all the way till 3.15am when they finally went to sleep. I tied contacting staff numerous times with calls and text to get one reply saying the rooms were fully booked when I asked to be moved. I then asked for someone to let them know to keep the noise down and did not get a reply. The banging of people opening their doors to get to the communal toilets was distrubing.
The place is quite and cleaned
Sharing bathroom with others

Basic room and facilities Very noisy
Really friendly helpful staff. Very welcoming on arrival.
There really wasn't anything not to like.... A hook on the back of the door to hang clothes and a mirror would have been nice
Proximity to town and to the GCR station. Car parking and helpful staff
No bedside light
Friendly staff on arrival. Good set up
It's clean and cosy. Nice staff and great value money.
I loved every minute of it
Nothing
The room was very comfortable and the location was perfect. It’s close to the airport and being right next door to the pub was really convenient. A lovely place to stay!
It was extremely hot that day, so a fan in the room would have been a nice addition. However, we still had a very comfortable night’s sleep.
It served its purpose, we needed something cheap and cheerful near the venue we was visiting.. friendly staff at the check in.
Sød medarbejder tog sig tid til os. Gårdmiljøet var også fint
Slidt, badefaciliteterne var ikke så gode. Meget lydt, især fordi der blev spillet underlig musik fra et af værelserne.
The member of staff working (zoe) was so polite and helpfull couldnt of asked for better service from her she was brilliant it made our trip . The room was also lovely and clean with a great shower thankd for the stay
Low priced.
Very good
Everything
Nice room, near to town and facilities.
It was very hot........(I'm not sure they control the weather) but there was no fan which would have helped.
The staff and locals were super friendly. Came with my older kids who also enjoyed the pub. Rooms were basic but did what they were supposed to. Would of liked private bathroom but knew this before booking.
Steep steps up stairs.
All
Just that we could not leave our luggage during the day but we did forget to double check this so not their bad
Friendly locals in the pub, you get what you pay for was clean enough in the room, but opposite is a bang on chip shop
Location
Bed slats buckled, had to prop mattress up, made a funny story (room 16, bed nearest window)
Price
Cleanliness, location, state of room
Great location near to the centre of Loughborough
Room was not to the standard of other rooms I have stayed in at the peacock over the years and the air conditioning unit I guess for the bar below was noisy and on all night long.
Reasonable price
Furniture in room was run down and needed some care I.e no lightbulb in lamp.
The rooms were very simple and clean. The bathroom was shared and just around the corner from my room. It was very clean. The welcome pack included a good amount of information about the area.
The stairs to reach the rooms were external and steep so that made my large bag a little tricky to manage. There were not any fans in the rooms which was a downside during a heatwave.
Staff friendly and despite the facilities being somewhat basic was really good value for money
Great place
Very simple check in. Clean and tidy, just the job for an overnight stop off
Could hear talk in ajoining rooms but not really an issue as pretty much asleep minutes after going to bed
It was clean comfortable
The iron stairs

Good location in Loughborough for all amenities
Quite noisy early and no fan available
Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Zimmer heizen sich sehr auf
Short stay 1 night Location good /value for money
Accomodation was basic but expected
Room clean & tidy. Bed OK. Staff very helpful & friendly. Happy to recommend.
Nothing to complain about.
Nada
Sucio, mal ambiente, peor barrio.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. No complaints.
It's a little dated in places, needs a bit of TLC.
Was clean and staff were friendly
It was noisy and there was no ventilation..
Cheap and cheerful
You get what you pay for and we wanted something we could afford
Basic place to get your back straight, that’s the only way to sum it
Mattress were so bad that u could feel the springs
I did not like anything in this place
The bedroom was very small and the 2.single beds were rubbiish.the shower was all broken and couldn't have shower. Very hot in the room .the door lock was sticky. I am very surprised that you have this accommodation on your web. I think you should cancel this on your site. Extremely upset that I booked this . I have done many booking through you and never expected this rubbish place.

Lovely staff and welcoming locals
very friendly staff in the pub next door which owns this property - they tried their best to help us with the bathroom issues but without success because it was a weekend stay. we also liked the location near to the steam railway which was the purpose of our visit.
the main problem was that we could not use the shower because the cold water pipe was not working and as a result the water was very very hot, sometimes dangerously hot. the property itself is badly in need of an upgrade to get rid of peeling wallpaper and a new lick of paint would make a difference.
Location fine.
Parking was a pain, Misread booking and booked rooms with common WC and showers. I thought all rooms on suite. Another towel would have been useful.
The young woman welcoming me at check-in was brilliant and the peacock inn would do well to cherish her. The rooms and all were perfectly fine for me, though having had a recent fall I was more aware of physical (in)accessibility so if that's info you need: the doors were really heavy, and for some of the rooms you had to climb quite steep stairs. It could also get quite noisy from the pub during the weekend, which I luckily only heard in the hallway and not in my room, but someone else might have less luck with their location. I had a blast, but these things might be noteworthy for someone else.
Easy check in; clean and quiet room. Close to the main part of town.
Room could do with a little updating/upgrade. But it's great for what it is. And for the price.
Great staff, very freindly, bar full of freindly people, to top it off they know how to pull a pint.
Close to town centre
Woke up in the morning and there were ants everywhere. The bed, the floor, dressing table, bedside tables, clothes & bathroom
Great stay staff very helpful and room request provided
nothing
The place from the minute we walked into the room was dirty we had ants crawling up the fireplace and all over the bed. Shower hot tap was so hot and getting stuck I nearly burnt myself on it showering Stains on the bedding mattress and towels just really drab and grubby dirty carpets paint all coming away from the wall scratches on walls will never book again didn't even stay the night we booked got our things together and left.
Free parking good location for steam railway
Very noisy , hard to sleep
The room is very spacious, very clean. And next to it there are parks and fitness squares, and the corridor has a terrace that you can enjoy.
The charging plug is a bit far away, otherwise there is no desk, the computer can be put on, the carpet is not clean enough. Lighting is not good.
Location was fine.
Location was fine. Room and shower room were clean however thx beds were so uncomfortable and he’d lining wax soooo dirty. I had to ask for change of pillow covers as they looked so dirty.
Clean
Booked it last minute so l could drive to Download Festival the following morning, the accommodation was in a courtyard behind the pub, great use of space, twin beds, just the job for my Son and I, en suite shower and toilet, very clean. Parking in the pub car park. Popped in the pub after dumping our bags, great place, friendly locals and staff. A short walk afterwards to go for a curry. Highly recommend, and if l'm in the area again l'll stay again.

Friendly, helpful staff and clean well equipped room with good shower.
Comfy bed and great staff
Nothing
It was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great that it is also attached to a cosy pub.
Polite welcome from lady at reception (the bar) on arrival. Good convenient location and free parking on site. The room which I eventually occupied was clean and comfortable.
Initially put in a room which was not especially nice, and TV not working (however, after bringing this to her attention, the kind lady mentioned above moved me to a nicer room in the garden area, with functioning TV). The major 'negative', though, was my visit to the bar for an evening drink, only to have to put up with the absolutely awful language used by an elderly female customer - which I think the barman should have done something about. I left in disgust with my pint (I am no prude but the air really was blue!) and went out into the garden area, where thankfully some pleasant customers were congregated for a drink.
Location, friendly staff and pub goers, lovely dogs. Decent sized room and very comfy beds. A great choice
Lock on the door was temperamental

A Traditional Inn. Close to Great Central Railway
Right on the road but not a big deal!
Nice comfy bed, kettle and hot drinks, large tv, nice shower, quiet, very njce place to stay
Clean nice location away from the main site Which was idea.
Booking a guess house thats a public house we anticipted it could be noise We were impressed when the rooms wete adjacent to the main building in a line of challets
The room was ok, the TV reception was weak and broke up. There was no chair to sit in the sun. The furniture was fragile and flimsy.
The communal corridors were very rough, the door numbers are made of paper, with just a little thought the common parts could be transformed with coloured paints or wall papers.
Wi fi , car park and location for steam railway
Noise from upstairs and from bar music till early hours
Great location.
The garden outside has lots of smokers and so the smoke was came into our room and there was absolutely no internet that worked for our phones or computers.
Friendly staff and locals
Cheap and cheerful accommodation. Not the most comfy, not the cleanest, but in perfectly good condition, and for the price and location you cannot complain! The staff were super friendly, I didn't have a chance to pop in the pub downstairs for a beer but will try and find the time next visit!
Owner was lovely and very accomodating considering we arrived a little late for check in due to delayed trains. Beds were lovely as was the ketlte facilities in-room alongside the showers! Two nice pubs nearby to go to for when the Inn's pub closes at 10pm Strongly reccomend it for steam train fans as the Great Central Railway entrance is literally only a 3 minute walk from its front door. I believe there are places to get breakfast nearby too but I didn't check
Our room literally wasn't ready, as in, it was still dirty and un-prepared from the previous users. To be fair the owner was lovely and quickly adapted, giving us an identical room so can't really fault that. What I have to fault is, the locks to our building and room, neither of them worked! Couldn't lock them as the door locks were stuck on 'open', so we had to sleep the night without being able to do something as simple as locking our bedroom for peace of mind for safety. I really do hope these can be fixed as it is an otherwise lovely spot that I would otherwise reccomend, especially when you're either passing through the area for one night, or visiting the Great Central Railway
Nothing.
Advertised free on site parking. Said reservation was needed so reserved 2 days ahead when booked. Got there car park full with cars that don't work and staff cars. Had to wait an hour standing in the sun (30 degree day) for them to find keys and make a space and make us feel like we were the problem. We offered to find other accommodation just refund us. They told us that the owner was not willing to do that. Room was clean but smelled very musty and moldy and lots of noise as there is a beer garden outside room doors. Kettle in room was dirty imside so couldn't even make a cuppa Should not have the rating it does. Do yourself a favour and pick elsewhere.
Good value and close to heritage railway and town centre. Great Bass served too.
Basic accommodation but as expected. Room 9 faced the road which was noisy at times.
