Amikor kérdezgettem a szállásadót még érkezés előtt néhány információról a szállással kapcsolatban, nem volt túl barátságos, de a hely utána ezt elfeledtette velem.

Er wordt aangegeven dat je bij vragen of verzoeken contact op kunt nemen. Als je appt met een verzoek wordt er direct gezegd ' It's not my job', dat vind ik dan een tegenvaller.

The room itself was beautiful and there was a lot of places to put our stuff. We had clear instructions on where to park, get the shuttle and check in. I would highly recommend this room!

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026La ubicación es espectacular, disfrutar de Marera desde dentro en la zona de los Sassi. Es super bonito, decorado con muy buen gusto. El apartamento 601 tiene una terraza maravillosa con vistas, etupenda para desayunar con el sol iluminando el barrio Sasso Barisano o para disfrutar de las luces de la noche que dan un aspecto mágico a Matera. El desayuno es un extra que se agradece mucho. Había productos lácteos, zumos y café en la casa pero muy temprano por la mañana nos dejaron en la entrada croissants y focaccia. Carmen nos contactó por WhatsApp y estuvo en todo momento pendiente de nosotros. Nos dio 30min de margen para retrasar el check out, lo cual lo agradecimos porque se nos hizo corta la estancia!
No es realmente negativo si se sabe con antelacion como proceder: Carmen nos recomendó un parking muy bien custodiado a 10min andando del apartamento por 20€/día . La llegada es un poco indomoda con maletas por los barrios de los Sassi, con de calles empedradas y escaleras. Como nosotros pasamos solo una noche, colocamos los neceseres y mudas en un par de bolsas de tela y dejamos resto del equipaje en el coche. Recomiendo hacerlo asi y no cargar con maletas innecesariamente. Lo único malo es que es que se nos hizo corto! Matera te envuelve y si disponéis de tiempo, disfrutadlo 2 noches.

El acceso a través de un callejón y con una puerta que se podía abrir desde el exterior, dejándote totalmente visible. El desayuno un poco pobre y básico, sin opción de café descafeinado.

We were very disappointed with the service. Before our stay, we were assured that we could leave our luggage at reception on our last day and that we would receive instructions on how to do so. Unfortunately, no instructions were ever provided. On the day of checkout, no one answered our phone calls or messages, leaving us without any support. This level of communication is unacceptable, especially during checkout. The accommodation also had a mosquito problem. In addition, the outer door did not close properly, leaving only the glass door as a barrier, which did not feel secure.

It was not properly cleaned (a lot of dust next to bed, toilet brush very dirty and the patio was dirty)! Also some appliances were broken (coffee machine, shower head)! They need to care more about the space so as to make it more beautiful, comfortable and welcoming!

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026The location, spacious bedroom and the fact that it’s only short staircase so we don’t have to drag our big suitcases, something to consider. There’s a restaurant exactly below is so we can easily buy drinks and drink them up on our terrace. Also there was a shuttle that took us from the parking garage to the accommodation, which was a plus.
They wrap the extra pillows inside a big plastic bag that was dusty. Not a big deal but maybe they can change the plastic and place them inside, instead of in the hallway.

The 2 individual beds were in an open 2nd floor - and the AC was not sufficient. The decor was really lame. They sent us an email that breakfast was served in a near by cafe. But it is not.

Extremely rude, we asked for another room as the bed was 140cm although it was noted as 150-180 on booking.com (the later argued that it was 150cm with the bedframe?!) I am travelling with my mum so it’s important the bed is big enough. They didn’t have any room other than the one we booked. They didn’t want to cancel the reservation. The place smelled very moldy and was very humid. Both the guy for check-in and the owner were extremely rude. We did our best to speak calmly but after a while we felt extremely disrespected

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Die Unterkunft liegt im Herzen von Matera und ist daher ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für die Stadtbesichtigung. Insgesamt echt schön aufgeteilt und mit genügend Platz. Das Frühstück war perfekt. Mehr braucht man nicht.
Einziges kleines Manko was dem alles aber keinen Abbruch getan hat ist, dass die Balkonmöbel ziemlich verdreckt waren und schon länger nicht mehr gereinigt wurden.

Check in ganz unkompliziert. Wir würden sofort wieder hier übernachten und alle waren begeistert. Danke vielmals Carmen für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026Lage und Größe des Appartements sind sensationell. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das separate Schlafzimmer im oberen Bereich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, und sämtliche Utensilien waren vorhanden. Der Check-in verlief unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt im Zentrum, sodass Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend.
Terrasse könnte liebevoller gestaltet sein bzw. Möbel sehr abgenutzt.

Pradedant informacijos pateikimu, rekomendacijom dėl parkingo (mums tai buvo aktualu),radome nemokamą vietą miesto vietiniam nemokam parkinge ir iki apartamentų 5-10min. Pagal nuorodas,nupasakojimus vietą radome labai lengvai. Apartamentai senamiestyje. Viskas labai gerai. Nepagailekite prie sumos ir uzsisakytkite pusrycius ypac jeigu atvykote vakare (nepasikrausite nereikalingu galvosukiu). Kadangi musu atvykimas buvo vakare mes sypermarket neradome, bet vyno buteli nusileide įsigijom barely. Vaizdas su vakariniu vaizdu i Sassi ir vynas - tobula. Labai rekomenduojame. Mes apsistojom 6 zmones, apartamentai silti, jaukus. Patalyne ir ranksluosciai balti svarus. Internetas, prausimosi priemones.

Consulté si podían servirme el desayuno sin gluten por ser celíaca y me dijeron que si, que no había problema. Me trajeron focaccia y croissant normales. Por suerte no me arriesgué a comer y le escribí a la encargada para que me confirmara.. después de mi insistencia, ya que se tomó su tiempo para responderme y para “averiguar” si era sin gluten ( cuando ella misma lo había llevado) me respondió que no habían conseguido opciones sin gluten. Me parece una negligencia y no le dieron importancia, siendo un tema de salud

Reviewed Apr 27, 2026The location was excellent , although not easy to get to. It really is an Airbnb - not a staffed facility - which is was not clear to me when I booked. As a solo traveler I really needed more help given the challenging nature of accessing the property in the sassi zone.
Communication was very poor and questions often weren’t answered. I had specific questions regarding being dropped off and picked up by a private car that was pre-arranged for me that I needed to know ahead of time and despite my asking it was not communicated to me how challenging this would be. They refused to answer specific questions ahead of time which made it pretty stressful to arrive and depart. I also had been told I could leave luggage there when I arrived before check in time and at the last minute was told I couldn’t leave luggage. They suggested a luggage storage facility which I then had a car drop me to but then had to figure out getting to the accommodation from as it was not walkable with luggage. When I asked for help they just didn’t answer me. I actually thought for a while I was going to have to find somewhere else to stay and just eat what I had paid them. As someone who had been leading yoga retreats around the world for 18 years (and I was in fact off to lead a retreat after my time in Matera )I found them remarkably unhelpful.
