No mirrors close to outlet for hair styling, no ironing board, not adequate paper towels to clean up, couldn’t open front door from inside when locked from outside (like if some stayed in but some left)

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Apartment was very neat and clean. We arrived with a car so having free parking at the property was a benefit. We cooked our own meals so having a fully functional cooktop, chimney, utensils was very handy.
The toilet on the ground floor does not have a water tap which is a bit awkward and limits you from using the downstairs toilet. If a faucet tap can be added to that toilet then that would be very handy.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2025The house was lovely and very clean. Everything you needed was there, very well equipped. I would just say that a television would be nice for evening time, but it didn't really impact me as I was there to go to Knock. For the likes of children, they enjoy television and it means they can entertain themselves with the likes of Netflix
There wasn't anything I didn't like. The location was excellent im only sorry I took ill on the second day and had to get an ambulance in the early hours of the morning

Reviewed Dec 18, 2024Fortlands was largely well equipped and comfortable for our stay as well as being well located for where we intended to visit. It is a stone's throw from the village centre but a very quiet location. The rooms were comfortable and it was very competitively priced. We had to unexpectedly request staying for 3 more nights due to the ill-effects of Storm Darragh and the landlord Terry could not have been more helpful and accommodating. He always responded promptly to any questions and was happy to call or be called. He couldn't do enough for us. Would happily use again.
