Water disruption during bath and my hairs were soaked with shampoo making me embarrassed. The lady receptionist cannot answer what’s the problem and problem was not solved until I checked out that I have to use mineral water to wash my hairs.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026This is my 2nd time staying at Epoch, I think it can be the official hotel for the annual UTMB event. Location, Comfort, Water Pressure, Receptionist, Food, everything. The bed is so comfortable to sleep on after a tiring run at the UTMB event.
Just a bit of noise from the night market below the hotel, but that's fine...it's something that the hotel cannot control.

The aircond was talking long time to cold the room. but it performed the function well after some hours. shouldn't be a big problem. but can be improved.

Parking is not convenient. I had rm10 fine just because the box was painted as reserved for hotel, but in real it was not. When asked the staff, they easily said the system capture it as white box, not reserved box.

Reviewed May 15, 2026The hotel room has a modern design and feels really cozy. The TV comes with YouTube, which made the stay even better. The toilet was very clean and well-maintained. There are also many food shops nearby, so it’s easy to find something to eat. Parking was convenient and easy too. Overall, a very comfortable stay
There is no lift to go upstairs. That's all...the rest is tip top.

With only less than 2 years old, they really need to do better in their maintenance. The mattress was already losing shape, the wall in the room has so many dirty matks and the towels needs a strong powerful bleach.

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026The place is located at the heart of Taiping. One can walk easily to every landmark of Taiping without any inconvenience such as the Lake Garden or the Bomba Food Court. The room is standard size but very affordable according to the price allocated. There are also dedicated parking spaces for the guests in this hotel plus the staffs were very helpful and polite. Very recommended to stay in this hotel.
