Really comfortable and spacious house

All good

No breakfast was provided. however, the place was roomy. Looked awesome from the outside and it was a huge yard suitable enough for a wedding reception.

Secondary bedrooms had no closets or drawers. House was extremely hot upon arrival and a/c covered only half the house...not the bedrooms. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were too firm. Lots of bugs accompanied us during our stay. We killed 2 spiders, 5 crickets and a pincer bug inside. Temperature was not controllable...had to sleep on the living room sofa.

We were 2 families on holiday. The house was very clean & spacious for the 7 of us.

There were a lot of ants in both bathrooms.

House was clean and tidy and had everything we needed and more. Loved the spa and hosts were able to accommodate us checking in earlier before attending the wedding we were going to

Hosts were really good with communication and I wasn’t so good at reading the check in instructions on how to find the house so make sure you follow their instructions as google maps doesnt take you to the house

Great house near Hobbiton and the heart of Matamata. Well appointed amenities and comfortable stay for our visit to Hobbiton. Property management is very responsive, accommodating and easy to contact. Appreciated the fresh passion fruit they left for us to try.

Host communicated well and met our needs, really flexible.

Comms around getting to the location could be improved.

The house was amazing. So clean, and had all the facilities we needed. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Lovely large bungalow, with a hot tub and comfortable lounge seating.

We had a power cut from arriving until 10pm at night so we weren’t able to use any of the facilities. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders so it seemed that it had been a while between guests.

The spa was an extra touch!! Modern clean and homely!

Perfect location. Perfect accomodation. Had everything we needed for our trip back home. Host was accomodating, responsive and the accomodation was gorgeous. Would definitely stay again and longer next time.

Fantastic property. Modern, clean, comfortable. Really well furnished, well stocked. Supplied quite a few breakfast things, snacks and tea/coffee goodies which was brilliant. Washing facilities (washer, dryer, laundry sink, washing line). Spacious. Comfortable. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Very hard to fault. I would say the only downside was no cooling in the bedrooms - we were a little warm.

Lovely, spacious home. We l found it worked well for us (two couples) and liked that we could cook for ourselves etc. much better than a motel. The spa pool was a treat as two of us to the Hobbiton half marathon. The breakfast supplies were great.

We couldn’t find tea towels. A folder about the place would have been helpful I think, like how to use the TV, perhaps recommendations about what to do in the area etc.

Thank you. This was the perfect place for our family to stay in preparation for a wedding.

We had a short stay with very last minute booking on public holiday because our other booking got cancelled. Super fast response from host & very detailed instructions on how to find the place. (Which is super easy, close to town center) Beautiful comfy house with all the infrastructures we need. Host also prepared breakfast like milk, eggs, toasts, ham, veggies and snacks just make us feel like home. With good price as well! all our family is super happy thanks for saving our holiday :)

The property was amazing

Arrival details were clear and descriptive. Property was spacious, very clean, and well equipped. Loved all the pantry and food items. Quiet location.

Bedding and towels good have been better quality. Shower in the ensuite had some issues (had to get the shower mixer in the right spot otherwise it just turned off). Cushions for the outdoor furniture were absent.

The location is very good—close to town center and also convenient for visiting Wairere Falls. The house itself is spacious, with a large garden and a big garage, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, leaving bread, milk, ham, and other essentials in the fridge for us to enjoy. It was such a kind gesture that made us feel right at home.

Owners were exceptionally helpful. Property worked well for us. Good communal areas and nice bedrooms.

A lovely spacious home that was immaculate on arrival. I would certainly stay there again, The supply of foodstuffs was also greatly appreciated,

House was large, well appointed and very quiet. The bed was firm and the most comfortable I had slept on during our trip. Location is convenient to town, with a car, and to Hobbiton. We enjoyed our one night's stay here.

There were only two issues we had during our stay. 1. There were no trashcans in the bathrooms, or any place but the kitchen which was not convenient. 2. The other issue was that the other couple we were traveling with found a child's bandaid in their bed while they were sleeping, which was kind of gross. However, it was stuck to the sheets so we are guessing it got stuck there in the wash/dryer, but still not a nice thing to find.

It was a beautiful, large house which more than met our expectations. The instructions for access were excellent.

There was nothing we didn't like but felt it would have been useful to have one or two small tables in the lounge to put cups/glasses on and a table lamp to create a more ambient atmosphere.

The location is very good, the room facilities are complete, the house is very new, the room is very large, we spent a wonderful holiday here, it’s fantastic here, it’s great value for money.

Owner said that they ordered airconditioning. I suggested that in the meantime, it would be nice to have fans in the bedroom. Especially given that it's summer time.

Lack of AC...

We loved the ability to close a door between the bedrooms and the rest of the house allowing for some to go to bed earlier than others. And how close it is into town. 6 people sharing one car but being able to walk to town was wonderful!

My most common request to every property I stay in, please add more mirrors. If traveling with a group, especially a group with multiple women, it helps to have mirrors in the house outside of the bedroom to make it easier for everyone to get ready.

The house wasnt very clean, the kitchen sink was dirty and someone had left very smelly rubbish in the kitchen dust bin. Bathrooms werent the cleanest either so that was disappointing on arrival to have to clean up someone elses mess

Everything about this property and hosts were amazing. We really enjoyed a comfortable house, in a lovely, quiet and private setting. Very close to town and easy for us to get around; bonus was empty garage to store our bikes (6 of them) and all the associated helmets, batteries, shoes and bags that go with a biking holiday. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Had everything you could need and we really only wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Thank you Alex and Marina for the use of your lovely property.
