If you stay for 4 days then daily towals change should be there and breakfast varieties should be there or kitchen should be available for guest so that they can make something for thereselfs.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026I like the cleanliness and peace in that property but as promised for Dinner and breakfast that was missing day 1.I was also concerned for Security as there was no guard and I feel someone should be at reception if there are rooms booked for that day. Kitchen was good, clean, facilities also like gyser handwash, soaps, towels , kettle, TV , standing fans all were provided
Staff was not present all time.Dinner they promised but not served.Next day also no breakfast

Reviewed May 15, 2026Beautifully maintained and managed property by Bahdeng. The well thought out and seriously Pretty set up makes you feel instantly welcome. Hot water, clean beds and towels, lovely windows that open into serene views… a lovely terrace and several nice sits outs. Loved the space. Dinner was in house- a simple, well cooked meal of pork/chicken curry, veggies, daal and rice was available on request. The place is about 10 to 15 mins away by drive from police bazaar - a cool and happening spot. (Try the authentic Khasi Food at Trattoria for sure!)Swiggy and Zomato deliver with ease from outlets that deliver. Definitely recommend!
The rooms do not have pegs or hooks to hang jackets or towels. That’s a bit of an inconvenience.

Reviewed May 4, 2026I had a very disappointing experience with this property. I had already informed the owner in the morning that I would be arriving with my family, and he confirmed the booking. Later, he asked me to pay ₹2000 in advance, even though the listing on Booking.com clearly mentioned “pay at property.” After some time, he suddenly told me that the property was not available and asked me not to come. This is extremely unprofessional and inconvenient, especially when traveling with family. This kind of behavior shows a lack of responsibility, manners, and basic empathy towards customers. I strongly advise others to be cautious before booking this property.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026I stayed at Lashisha Guest House from 1st March to 4th March 2026 and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the staff were warm and helpful with a smiling face always. The location in Shillong was perfect for me—I prefer peace over city hustle and bustle. Highly recommended, and I would happily stay here again!

Reviewed Aug 21, 2025As two girl travellers, we were looking for a short escape from the hustle and bustle and exactly got that. With serene and aesthetic atmosphere, we really liked the location and behaviour of the staff right from reception to farewell. Although a little far from the centre of the city on the hill top, we didn't face any safety issues and were helped by Bahdeng and others with everything we needed even at night. It was a fun experience altogether and we really appreciate their wholesome communication. Looking forward to visiting again.
It was all good. No water and electricity issue. No safety and food and comfort concerns, which are the basic needs in all. There can be network problems but it was taken care of by Wifi access.

Exhaust fan in the washroom. AC in the room for air circulation at night,as we couldn't keep the windows open at night.Day time it was not a problem.

We reached late since there was heavy traffic and we were diverted by the police hence we reached the property very late, next day we wanted to do a law check out by evening which was rejected this could have been accommodated

The host was very helpful in giving us advice on local restaurants and sightseeing and responded very quickly to our questions. He even helped us with booking bus tickets.
The mattress was on the firm side but still comfortable.

Reviewed Nov 5, 2023Absolutely fantastic stay, I was very well looked after. The breakfast and dinner every day was perfect, I could just ask for what I wanted and it was made. Evening dinner was a very nice home made chicken curry vegetables and rice. They went out of their way to make the stay comfortable, organizing cars for a good price and making sure I had everything I needed. The path up to Shillong Peak is nearby and TheVerde is a trendy place nearby for food. I think they play music but I wasn't around for that. It's a fairly decent walk up from the centre of town which I liked, it means from the rooftop you get a great view. Overall a wonderful stay.
