The view of Fluorsid chemical plant, located next to main road meant there was some minor road noise but it was quiet between 9 pm and 6 am.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig und bietet einen tollen Ausblick auf den Fjord. Gemütlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man brauchen könnte. Odda Zentrum ist nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Super Ausgangspunkt für eine Trolltunga Wanderung, am Parkplatz 2 ist man in etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten mit dem Auto .
Das Parken ist etwas umständlich, aber darauf wird in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft öfters hingewiesen

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Ubytování bylo moc hezké, byt velký, prostorný. Kuchyň hezká s troubou, sporákem, velkou lednicí, stůl se židlemi, vybavení dostačující. Klíče jsme obdrželi dle instrukcí majitele, odevzdání také. Postele pohodlné, koupelna menší, ale hezká a čistá. Parkování není hned u ubytování, ale o tom jsme věděli předem. Od majitele jsme obdrželi podrobné instrukce, kde je možné parkovat, vždy tam bylo místo a nebylo to až tak daleko od ubytování. Byli jsme spokojeni, ubytování doporučujeme.

No nearby parking. Had to find street parking on a different street then carry our bags to the second floor apartment (and uphill back to the car).

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026Rummelig lejlighed med hvad man skal bruge. Gode senge. Lille men funktionelt badeværelse. Vi benyttede ikke stue og køkken, men der er alt hvis man ønsker dette. Udlejer er ikke på stedet, men svarer hurtigt og venligt ved spørgsmål. Beliggenhed i gåafstand til selve byen.
Der mangler en parkeringsplads ved huset, nærmeste mulighed er 200m væk. Udsigt til en stor fabrik, lidt synd da fjorden og fjeldet ellers er så flot. Men dog ingen støj fra fabrikken, så det generede os ikke.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026Het appartement was best OK: proper en alles wat je nodig hebt is er aanwezig. Je hebt een mooi zicht over de fjord. Wij kunnen er weinig meer over vertellen want wij hebben er maar één nacht verbleven.
Er is geen parkeerplaats. Instructies van de host kwamen vrij autoritair over. Zo kregen wij een mail over het doen en laten i.v m. onze hond en werd ons aangemaand een tip (men vertelde zelfs hoeveel) achter te laten voor de schoonmakers, hoewel onze poedel geen haar verliest en in een bench slaapt. Dit komt onsympathiek en zelfs arrogant over. Woning enkel bereikbaar via een trap, zowel buiten als binnen.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Ideal location around 15 minutes walking to the bus station. Cozy and clean apartment. Very spacious. Friendly and helpful owner. You will find everything needed for your stay there (hair dryer, kitchen cutlery and even tea and coffee)
A little bit of a loud road outside , but all the houses in Odda face this road, so it wasn't a big issue for us

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Amplio apartamento, decoración muy bonita y detallosa, habitaciones amplias, limpias y acogedoras. Bien equipado. Baño muy bien, Grandes ventanas con vistas al fiordo, lastima que habia una zona industrial justo enfrente, pero aun asi era muy agradable. Me hubiera gustado quedarme más días Bien equipado, café, te, azucar, sal, muchos champús, gel etc.... Volvería sin duda Odda es un buen punto de partida para muchas cosas
El parking, que debe ser en otra calle, aunque no lejos, lo malo es que el vecino sale enfadado incluso si quieres dejar el coche 2 minutos para descargar las maletas sin estorbar ninguna salida… insistía que teniamos que haber preguntado antes de parar (aunque no había nadie cuando paramos, eso sí, salió a los 20 segundos) Está al lado de la carretera y es un poco ruidoso si tienes el sueño delicado. Está algo retirado de Odda si necesitas comprar algo, mejor hacerlo antes. Por lo demás todo muy bien

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Cozy, comfortable aparment in a walking distance from the city center of Odda. Beautiful view over the fjord both from bedroom and living room window. The host was friendly and gave us good tips about parking.
The house is directly located at a main road and even with closed windows it is very noisy from the early morning. When we arrived several pots and pans were not clean and the apartment could be equipped better with cutlery and kitchenware.

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Located close to great hikes, via ferratas, 700 m from e-chargers and a shopping center. Roomy for 2 people, good Internet.
The noise level is very high also at night, with a busy road right outside the windows, so not for the light sleepers. Also, it is described as 2 bdrms, while it is one bedroom, and a living room open to the kitchen, so may be a little problematic for more people. Parking is 200 meters away and it is a bit informal.

Estacionar. Nos sentimos inseguros con ese tema. El lugar estar a varias cuadras del centro. En la calle que nos dijo no nos dio confianza y lo terminamos dejando en el centro en un lugar que no sabemos si era público o no. No vimos donde pagar. Odda sentrum. La gente lo recomienda. Veremos si sixt luego nos cobra algo.

Que no hubiera parking, la localización un poco lejana, pero volvería a alojarme, en general contenta.

We loved it all! If we had to say anything "negative" at all it would be that we were missing a towel in the kitchen :D

Reviewed May 7, 2026The place is right next to the waters and has a beautiful view. The place is tastefully decorated and pictures don't do justice to the house. I was unsure when I booked due to the pictures but it is actually a beautiful and cozy apartment. Everything was available in the apartment to make our stay comfortable.
If travelling by car- No parking available but as suggested to us, we found a free parking 3-4 minutes away so no issues faced. If travelling by public transport- it is around 1 km from the center so one might have to walk.

The communication, or rather the lack of it - all lacked consideration to the customer- in this case me. There was the option to write in Norwegian or English regarding wishes for the stay. By chance I am Norwegian, and hence wrote vmy wishes in that language. Some 90 minutes later I received the response, in English. By then, I had, firstly, already passed Gult hus/Gulthus/yellow house, because there is nowhere to park even a small car anywhere in the vicinity of that address - secondly because the exterior of the building didn’t look promising at all. either. In short, since there are no regretting at this rather ugly place after ordering, I lost my money, some NOK700. This is the very worst experience, (even without being inside of the apartment) I ever had with any booking, and am an experienced customer, also with Booking.com. My advice: Stay OFF!

Reviewed Apr 15, 2026Huisje was knus en netjes bij aankomst. Host had op voorhand duidelijke instructies gegeven ivm parkeren, de sleutelkluis,… Alles was voorhanden in het appartement.prijs/ kwaliteit oké
De straat is echt lawaaierig. Echt uitslapen zat er niet in door alle vrachtwagens die passeerden. Dit is echt iets om rekening mee te houden. Het parkeren was iets verderop (200m) als je geluk hebt dat er een plaatsje is maar dit stoorde ons niet. Moesten er ramen zijn die beter isoleren zou dit zeker een 10/10 waard zijn.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Very cozy, and was actually much better than on the pictures. Spacious, very clean apartment, cute backyard for morning coffees, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. Pleasant views (even though Odda appeared to be quite industrial). There's no dedicated parking, but there was quite easy to park further down the road (the host provided very detailed instruction).
The only drawback – much more traffic noise than expected from a small road in a small town (although the host did warn about that).

Reviewed Aug 17, 2024The apartment was awesome: it was huge, newly renovated with all the amenities we could dream of (washing machine with adequate product, dishwasher with tablets, many kitchen utensils and cutleries, salt, oil etc.). We felt very welcomed. Also, the room was ready before the check-in time. The location was great with an amazing view on the fjord, and 10-15 minutes walk from the city center. We strongly recommend this apartment!
We could hear a bit the cars passing by, but it was fine for us.

There were Amazing views from the bedroom and sitting room (fjord). The bed was very comfortable. Coffee and tea were on site as well as some seasoning and cooking oil which is very useful. Overall, excellent. I would highly recommend this place.
