Where do I begin. 1. When I arrived I found the lady that helps out there, Elsie with my key and a phone showing clearly that I'm allocated room 6. But she wouldn't give me that room as their other guests usually get that room. I was given a different room from the one booked. 2. In the room, the bed was dirty. Ckearly the room was not prepared for a guest. The fitted sheet looked so old and dirty as if it has been slept on and resurrected from the 1900. Soo scratchy, so I had to use the throw blanket on the mattress. 3.. There was only a duvet on the bed, in Ermelo,in May. When I went to knock at Karinas door for an extra blanket, she just ignored my knocks. I went to the main house and found Elsie and told her I was too cold and the electric blanket wont warm up the bed. She gave me a blanket, God bless her soul. She dug it out at the basement. But the blanket was so dirty, I was beyond shocked. I took it from her thankfully but couldn't use it. 4. Karina later knocked on my door, I was overjoyed hoping its a clean blanket, but she only came to tell me next time I want to book with them I should do so through an estranged colleague of mine, clearly by the colleague's orders. She rudely said in so many words that im welcome to stay elsewhere. No blanket. 5. After she left, in my bewilderment, I called the number listed on booking.com, thinking its hers. It wasn't her, it was someone else, Ania. I explained what just happened and told her im cold. I cannot sleep with the electric blanket on, for obvious reasons, so I need additionally blankets. She came over wiyh a throw blanket that i would learn the next day that it was being used by Karina(gross), and I explained the check in situation, and how I was given zero option in being taken to the room. She seemed understanding, even assured me that I will get a blanket in my room the next day. But i would later learn that i have no clue who's worse between her and Karina.

There is no air conditioning but atleast there is an electric blanket and an extra blanket for the cold, otherwise interms of heat the room itself is very cool inside. Other thing the hot water for showering is a low blow because it gets hot for 1 minute while you showering then the water gets extremely cold again

Reviewed Oct 30, 2025De ligging van de accomodatie is goed en de auto kan geparkeerd worden achter een hek. Onze kamer was ruim en de kitchenette was fijn om te hebben en goed uitgerust.
Het bed is aan de harde kant. Daarnaast hadden wij om nieuw bedlinnen gevraagd, aangezien er meerdere haren op lagen en er wat kleine vlekken op zaten (de rest van de kamer zag er overigens netjes uit). We hebben via meerdere manieren geprobeerd contact te zoeken met de eigenaar, maar helaas werd er na enkele uren wachten nog steeds geen gehoor gegeven aan ons verzoek of onze vraag om contact met ons op te nemen. Carina (iemand met wie wij eerder contact hadden) reageerde daarentegen wel snel, maar aangezien zij niet in de buurt was, kon zij niks anders voor ons betekenen dan ons bericht doorgeven aan de eigenaar.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2025Overall I enjoyed my stay and the host was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The room was neat and clean and spacious. It had everything I needed. I would definitely stay there again.
I prefer a softer bed. The bed is a little hard for my liking I didn't have the best night's sleep and woke up with a sore back. Maybe have the option to offer a softer mattress.

Reviewed May 26, 2025The location is safe, quiet and secure. Forgot my jacket at the room when I checked-out and they called me to notify me. I came to collect it after a few days and it was still there. Very trustworthy staff.
Reception needs to be more attentive waited quite a while at the gate. There was a little bit of confusion where we should go there should be a board to specify between the reception gate and the guest entrance gate

Reviewed May 11, 2025Elsie and her team were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Property does need maintenance and seems to have suffered water damage. A few things needing attention: 1 cupboard smelt quite bad, water pressure wasn't great but we had lovely hot water, bathroom door battled to close and was noisy, Our bed, although comfortable, was loud and creaky, every time we sat down or turned, it woke the others. As we only slept there, none of this affected our stay. My son used the little milks from the fridge on the last day and unfortunately they were sour. It was still a good, convenient place to stay. Thank you.
