Golhaaviewinn

Location is okay Right by bikini beach

Room wasn’t cleaned during the whole 4 day stay Toilet had no seat Room was very noise Food service at the resto took for ever and twice I was then told after a 30 min waiting time my choice of food wasn’t even available…..

Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is top.

Wonderful staff, location right on the beach, good breakfast

The room itself was fine - nothing fancy but they did give us free water which was good, also included breakfast from the restaurant in front - eggs and toast. The young worker was great, always checking on us - I think he did everything there he was also working or cleaning and always there to welcome us when coming and going Lovely island definitely recommend but maybe stay somewhere else Good location - right near bikini beach

After confirming we had paid on the first day, on our last day they tried to say that we hadn’t paid for our room but it clearly said paid on booking.com. After I told him we have paid a few times he said he would contact booking.com and then he never mentioned it again. Clearly he was just trying to get us to pay twice as we contacted booking.com to confirm and they said we had definitely paid and to not pay anything else! On the day we were leaving we wanted to get the public ferry. It left at 7:05, and we were ready to go from our hotel at 6:45. We had to wait until nearly 7 to be picked up - we offered to walk but they assured us a car was coming. We then arrived at the ferry port to see the guy from our hotel waiting on the wharf watching the ferry leave. He didn’t even try to wave it down. He then told us the public ferry we had planned to take was cancelled and that was the ferry that was meant to leave at 7:30 to male but it was early. But he watched it leave without attempting to get it to come back for us. He then told us we had no choice but to get the speed boat. So basically it was their fault we missed both ferries - because even if the other one was meant to leave at 7:30, if we had been here at 6:50 like we were meant to or the guy tried to get the ferry to come back we could’ve got it. Therefore instead of paying 22MVR each we had to pay for a speed boat instead, $30USD Then he just left us at the port and didn’t help organise another boat or anything! We couldn’t believe it, every other hotel we have stayed at in the Maldives the staff stayed with us until we were safely on the boat. He knew it was his fault we had missed the ferry and ran away. Horrible bathroom as toilet was leaking & smelly. There was also not hot water - we asked 3 times and it never worked.

We stayed for 4 nights - location amazing, very close to boats to chickens, and other spots. The staff was exceptional; they helped us with everything and were super nice. The breakfast on the beach was lovely. Wifi worked very well - the best from other places we stayed. Thank you for everything!

We loved everything.

Prime location directly on the beach! Super nice stuff and manager. Rooms a simple but clean.

Location is superb! Great spot nearby the beach, within bikini area. The team offers great trips! Stingrays were amazing and with free video recording. Manta ray we had no luck so they provided discount for the trip.

It was not much clean, we had a cockroach in the room. It would deserve some renovation. Towels smell like cigarettes. There was also confusion about the payment, plus the organised boat from airport was communicated twice for 25 usd per person per trip but at the payment it was requested 30 per person.

Bliskosc do plazy bikini i bezpieczna laguna

Colazione a buffet abbondante.

Tudo

Nada a apontar

Klimatyzacja

Zdjęcia w ofercie a rzeczywistość to dwie różne rzeczy.

Director Salim was the best part of this guest house. Always calm, solving all the unpleasant situations that others cause (for example others being late, or doesn’t show up). Good location, on the bikini beach. Good tour prices!

Photos don’t match the reality. Double room with sea view is very small. You can see the sea, but you keep your drapes closed because the window goes to the balcony where people hang their wet clothes and can peek in your room. A/C barely works and is very very very loud! Bathroom drain smells awful and needs to be cleaned out. Everything needs cosmetic renovation.

lovely staff, very welcoming when we arrived. they accommodated all need throughout out our stay. beautiful location right next to bikini beach, and a yummy included breakfast.

Superb location. Own restaurant, direct access to a beautiful and sheltered beach with amazing amenities. Lots of snorkelling equipment freely available. Staff were friendly. Good air con in room. Large food and drinks menu that’s reasonably priced.

Most of the power outlets in the room didn’t work. Communication with the hotel via booking.com and WhatsApp was slow or non existent. None of the bikes available to borrow were serviceable, no help to pump tyres etc. The room could do with a lick of paint, there’s stains and hand prints on the bedroom walls. Staff were friendly but often seemed to not know how to help.

The location is just amazing – a minute walk from a bikini beach and on the north side of a charming island. The breakfast is in the neighbouring restaurant and is buffet, there is AC in the room and there are many facilities available, free snorkling equipment is available.

The pipes in the bathroom are quite rusty, we didn’t have hot water (but we didn’t ask if that was supposed to be that way) and there was a working light (with quite some dust) on the wardrobe.

Great room right at the beach. Breakfast was really good. Free use of the snorkel equipment was amazing as so much sea life to see at the beach. Large amount of activities offered. Staff very helpful and arranged a speedboat to the island for $25 per person each way.

Only thing to note was that booking says all taxes and charges were included but there was $7 per night per person to pay when there.

Staff was amazing, everyone was so kind❤️ Great excursions available and nice guides. Breakfast was good.

Shower had a weird smell but not a big problem!

Excellent location! The staff were all super friendly - special mention to saleem the manager and luba (water sports) who were both incredibly friendly and welcoming- superb hospitality. Right by the beach where all the excursions start, fab little restaurant and great hospitality. couldn’t recommend more :)

Luba (guide for all the activities) was the best! He helped us with the activities and although the weather wasn’t good enough for us to do the things we initially wanted to do, he did take us out on a octopus hunt. Luba was honest about what could and could not be done and a very friendly person. Thanks for your help Luba!

The place looked a bit outdated. In the showers there is work to be done and also the beds are really old and hard. We already slept in many different beds in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks, but these beds were really uncomfortable. The breakfast is a bit poor (no variation and very little fruit).

Our stay here was simply wonderful. The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beautiful Bikini Beach, where you can always enjoy a relaxing swim in calm waters thanks to a protective wall that also acts like a reef. You can observe beautiful fish and other marine life both inside and outside this wall. The accommodation itself is great. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. All the staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly and helped us with everything – they answered all our questions and gave us lots of useful and interesting information. There’s also a watersports center right next door offering all kinds of activities. The food was really fantastic too. We had dinner there every night – the dishes were delicious and very reasonably priced. The curries especially were absolutely amazing! If we ever come back to Thulusdhoo, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Lovely guest house right next door to bikini beach and the water sports operators who could take you by speedboat to other surf break as well. Very helpful staff and fantastic value restaurant.

The light on the display of AC unit in the room was a little bright, If id remembered to pack some tape I could have temporarily covered it when sleeping.

Saleem is the best manager! I can highly recommend his hotel.

Location is great, staff was really helpful and kind.

Room was extremely dirty. Actually I've never seen something like this in my entire life. We didn't expect luxurious hotel, as we were travelling on budget, but it should be at least clean! We trusted reviews on booking, which are great. Unfortunately, the room looked nothing like on photos. Our bedsheets were dirty, beach towels were dirty, there was no hand soap or hand towels in the bathroom. Said bathroom was so dirty that we were scared to use it. Tap in the bathroom was leaking, so If when I washed my hands, the whole bathroom floor was wet.

We booked this guest house through Booking and loved every second there. The rooms are fairly simple, but the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean and it was pretty quiet. Our stay included breakfast, and for me as vegan barely had any options - but the staff were out of their way to make special sandwiches for me every day of our 6 day stay. The guest house is literally steps from the beach, providing beach towels, beach beds and snorkel gear with fins at no extra cost. We found the service really really friendly forthcoming and accommodating. If you’re looking for a good price-value in a stunning setting, you’ve found it ☺️

The facilities seem a bit old, but this wasn’t a problem for us.

Perfect location next to bikini beach. Very friendly and helpful stuff, quite place. Good value for money, if some repairs would be done it's great spot.

Rooms needs some renovation, I had huge stain on the ceiling, hangers were broken, fan in the ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart. Small things that could be quickly improved.

Everything was amazing, we really enjoyed our stay in Golhaaview Inn. Everyone took care of us perfectly and especially Saleem, he helped us with everything that we needed.

Everything was perfect

The boss helped us with every single simple thing we needed. I really liked that the equipment for snorkel is free-rental if you stay here. The personal is kind and was helpful, they know their sea and they are very wise, they gave us vital information for our snorkel routes and where to spot some animals. The location is just a few meters from beach. The breakfast is simple but tasty.

The stuff nice & friendly & and the location very good just in front of the beach

The towels very old and looks very dirty, the bedsheets the same ... The bathroom not very nice..

The room was nicely looking, quite new. The staff is absolutely great! Always smiling, friendly and want to help if any questions. They also helped to book a boat from the airport for 25 dollars and could also pick up or leave at the harbour for no cost if telling what time you’ll be arriving. The breakfast was ok! Apple, toast, egg, Nutella, butter, jam, sometimes pancakes, sponge cake or lokal dish. To improve maybe have one choice of healthier choice like oatmeal or more fruit but great as it is for the price!! The beach is just around the corner, 10 steps away. The beach is clean and connected to all beach front hotels. Absolutely loved the island. It’s bigger than Dhiffushi (close by island of you want to go to two islands), but lest turisty which I like. You still walk on the streets with locals. You have several bikini beaches to talk to but the best one is just 10 steps away. 20 min walk to the sun set beach. I’m traveling alone and as a woman I felt completely safe at the island also after dark. Sooo nice feeling. There are a lot of cheep excursions sold in the hotel or by the beach. Not much will disappoint and there is bang for the buck and they stay almost as long as you like, so just way when you want to leave or stay. Would love to come back!

Softer beds, but it is a matter of being able to import as the hotel grows. Maybe one more healthy option at the breakfast. Like oatmeal or more fruits or vegetables. (But again. Good for the price already!)

Perfect location (Bikini Beach), friendly staff. Managment is very responsive. Everythink was good!

They served us delicious and pure watermelon jus as welcome drink Staff are friendly and helpful. Their cafe can prepare good meal and value for money Scnorkeling gear and canoe are free to use for in house guest Lights, air cond, water heater works well

Towel is stained Shower cream and shampoo not good for use

Helpful staff, nice location, friendly people.

Everything was perfect and Saleem is great! He will arrange everything for you

Excellent

Very close to the beach & diving center, also breakfast was fine

It is a very nice authentic place. And it has a good location on the island. All the watersport activities can be arranged from this place and with a discount. Most importantly, everyone is very friendly.

Not only the location right by the beach, but especially the welcoming and always helpful staff were my personal highlight! This was my first long-distance solo trip, but the people at Golhaaview made me feel at home from the get go.

As some other people have already pointed out: the rooms, but especially the bathrooms are a bit in need of a renovation.

Cheap and friendly. They all catered to our needs and was always available and helpful. The food was amazing. This is my 2nd time visiting this hotel and we will definitely be back again sometime

great hospitality, delicious food and late check out

Good people!!

The location, the staff, the hospitality was excellent! Very recommendable!

Very good located, next to the bikini beach. Bed comfortable. The girl who was working at the restaurant (Sandeli) very nice, always smiling and she works very hard. Food was good

Breakfast was simple not many options. Horrible coffee and orange juice mixed with water. Always boiled eggs and toast. They don’t offer variety of fruits, always orange. They dont do room service in case you request it and dont change bed linen.. we stay there for one week.

Everything!! From the lovely terrace, the garden to chill in and the proximity to the beach, the location is excellent! The staff was absolutely amazing, super friendly and always helpful! Food at the restaurant was yum and decently priced. They booked the speedboat and sorted transport from and to the airport, helped us exchange money and super rate and all in all were amazing people to be around! I reccommend Golha, for a real experience of Maldives and the locals 🤍🤍🩷

I loved the vibe of the place, it is right on bikini beach and they provide great food. I would say huge thanks to Manoj and the other staff, who made our stay unforgettable. Best part was the chef offering us customized dishes as per our taste. I overall enjoyed the whole place and every minute of this stay was wonderful.

Only breakfast could be better with additional options. But it was okay for us.

breakfast was really good. also the people who work there are really nice. Evertything is clean and there are beach towels.

The service at the restaurant is not what you expect. Sometimes you wait 50 minutes for a pizza en 20 minutes for a drink.

The staff and management are approachable and helpful. It is a good place to stay and relax.

The food/breakfast needs to have variation.

Very pleasant stay, helpful staff, hotel located right on the bikini beach with free sunbeds and towels. Definitely recommend!

fabulous location, directly on bikini beach, own sunbeds at beach, tasty breakfast with few options to try everyday somethink new, many oportunities to diving, snorkling, surfing excursions nearby, Neya was wery helpfull with everythink we need. Almost nobody at the beach, calm and quite holidays

it was OK

beds was impossible to sleep on

Breakfast was standard continental. Would have been nice to be served some of the local breakfast. Location was great near the beach and was midway between Cokes surfspot and main shop area on the island. The restaurant downstairs was handy. Daily supply of drinking water. was good. There was also available a large dish to soak your foot if you had stepped on a sea urchin. The area around GolhaaView Inn was quite. Also had a massage service

Didnt like the rap music (with horrible lyrics) that was being played during my meals at the restaurant. Also there was not much space to hang wet boardshorts, rash vests, swimmers. However, there was a drying rack available for all the rooms to share. Sometimes, there would be little water pressure on the hot water if other rooms were showering at same time.

A very nice location with a very nice restaurant including shisha

For 60 dollar per night( which was supposed to be a special room), it was a bit disappointed. The ocean view was not spectacular and the balcony is not private but shared over all the rooms.

Good breakfast with a decent variety each day. Location was excellent, just a 20second walk to bikini beach and surfboat stands

What could be improved is the common area on the groundfloor. It could be made a bit more comfortable to have a place to hang out on a rainy day or in the evening
