Premier Inn Liverpool City - Liverpool One

Third time staying here don't understand why there are negative reviews, location is great, rooms always nice and clean, breakfast was fine. Would recommend the hotel to family and friends.

Well 5+ for service food 5+ very nice hotel very happy with room BUT.... 0+ BED BROKEN SPRINGS BROKEN!! 😢 EVERYTHING!!!!!! ELSE 5+

Great location in Liverpool, (where we love to visit) Nice and clean hotel, fun and bubbly staff and easy check in! Thanks to Luke and Nadine Would come again!

Had a perfect stay here, clean room, comfy bed. Perfect location, right in the city centre. Nadine was very helpful, knowledgeable and funny. The manager was very efficient too.

Another fabulous stay at Liverpool one premier inn… Our yearly get together was made extra special by our late request of an adjoining room…Danny couldn’t of been more accommodating ,he made our weekend feel more special …thank you Danny…merry Christmas to you

Haven’t never stayed here before got to say I am really impressed room was lovely and clean lovely view came down for dinner greeted by Megan she was really nice help me with the menu and her cocktail are really lovely too thank you look forward to are next stay 😀

Outstanding and the best first experience i have ever had. The staff were amazing and the room was fabulous. Can't wait to stay again in the near future

I stayed here this week just for two nights. I picked it due to its central location and it was perfect. A very short walk away from Cavern Club, Albert Dock and Liverpool One. I arrived early and there was just one person before me at check in. I was greeted very warmly by a wonderful male colleague. I asked if by any chance there was any early check ins available, he said he wasn’t sure but he’d have a quick look. Luckily he found me one! So kind of him and he didn’t charge me either, said “it’s Christmas, don’t worry about it!” What a lovely start! My room was 210. Family room, as expected it was clean and comfortable. Only minor faults were the mirror with the lights around where the hairdryer is the light didn’t work. Every woman will tell you the other mirrors in Premier Inn rooms the light is rubbish for make up! But, I managed. Comfy bed but had to use both extra pillows as the ones on the bed were flat as a pancake. One other thing, upon arrival the room had an odd mild smell. Kind of like cooking smell but I guess when you’re on the same floor as the restaurant that’s expected. Breakfast was incredible as usual, no problems finding a table, every cooked item available. Again, same colleague at breakfast as check in and he remembered me and asked what I’d been up to, gave me recommendations and was generally perfect. I wish I knew his name! Left my bag on check out day, female colleague was also a joy! All staff here are a credit to Premier Inn. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and I’d recommend to anyone, it’s simply lovely!

Excellent location. Very comfy bed. Nice shower. Room was on the tatty side & not spotlessly clean either. Only 1 large towel was provided even though 2 adults were staying for 2 nights. The shower screen does not keep the water inside the bath & results in the floor of the bathroom swimming in a pool of water whenever the shower is used. This was not ideal & will lead to increased maintenance in the long run as it will affect both the bathroom flooring as well as the carpet in the room(it reaches there) itself. Tea & coffee provision was totally inadequate there wasn't enough to make one decent cup each. We were there for 3 days 2 nights. The mirror in the bedroom only had one of it's two lights working. Not good when bathroom mirror is steamed up. Whilst Q parking is right next door & there is a related discount, it is still quite expensive. The QR code wouldn't open the door & you had to rely on other people coming out to get in. That was until the doors wouldn't open at all & people were trapped inside for 30 minutes. Not that it's the hotels fault, but hey ho.

Excellent and prompt service by Luke. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Promot assistance at check in. Clean reception area.

The hotel is in a great location for the city centre, train station and a short walk from Albert Dock. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The left luggage facility was useful when we first arrived and checked out. Only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was very good. Just what you'd expect from a Premier Inn. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Liverpool.

Hotel is in a good location for M&S Bank Arena and for the city centre. Rooms were a good standard, as expected with a Premier Inn. Quiet, clean and comfortable. However, bathroom flooded from the shower, with water going straight under the shower screen. Breakfast itself was decent, but see comments below. Check in was really bad here. When we arrived, all of the self-check-in kiosks had crashed out and there was a large queue for one staff member who we thought was checking people in, and who was busy with one customer. Whilst we were waiting, another staff member turned up and dealt with another customer, but then left straight away. By this time, the small lobby was full and people were queuing down the corridor to the lifts. They could have helped with checking people in. When the first staff member had finished with their customer (they took ages), they asked if anyone was waiting to check in. A bit of a daft question given the long line of people waiting. When we all responded yes, he asked us to use the kiosks - which were still crashed out. Ridiculous. He started resetting the kiosks and eventually got them back online. He and his colleague could have just checked people in at their desks and that would have been a lot quicker. Breakfast was nice, but a bit disorganised. We turned up as soon as they opened as we had a busy day ahead. There was one family seated in the restaurant and no colleagues around to check people in, so we had to wait for a colleague to arrive. When he did, we checked into breakfast and when we were asked about allergies the information to hand didn't cover what my wife is allergic to. The colleague asked in the kitchen but came back with a 'they don't know' response. Not the best stay we've had at a Premier Inn.

When we came to the hotel the person there said that there was something wrong with the payment for the room. I showed him my receipt that i had prepaid the room and they told me that there was an issue between me and Expedia because Expedia had not paid them for the room. So i had to sit there in their reception and try to contact hotels.com on the phone which is not very easy because first it takes a lot of time to find a telephone number to them, and then it takes a lot of steps before you can talk to a real person. When i finally got hold of a person who could see my problem i asked him to talk to the hotel personal which he did for a about ten minutes but they could not come to a solution so hotels.com started to find another hotel to us which they did after about two hour while i was waiting on the phone. And in all the time we where sitting and waiting for a solution to our problem, the personal at Premier Inn just neglected us and did nothing to try to help us. That hotel we got instead, Radisson Red was a great one so thanks for that switch.

First impressions: lifts were filthy, reception is self serving which is good. Went to the toilet in reception and the door was broken with no lock, no toilet paper and no paper to dry your hands with - restroom was dirty. Corridors to the room needed a good hoover with bits of rubbish everywhere. Room was nice and clean and bed was comfy. Restroom was as expected. TV remote needs changing or batteries. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely spot on and couldn’t fault it especially as kids eat for free.

Fabulous location, decent and generally clean room, but Premier Inn needs to hire more staff (across all of its hotels), as it massively impacts efficacy and staff friendliness (being overstretched I presume is the key factor for their luke warm hospitality). Also very annoying that we tried to reserve breakfast for six the evening before, was told ‘no need, just come down’ and subsequently told at beeakfast the next day that they couldn’t accommodate us. This was wholly unacceptable. And also, I agree with another reviewer about the sticky common area carpets.

Mould on bathroom and when showered the water leaked everywhere meaning I had to mop up the floor, good size room and breakfast was a good choice.

Great hotel in a prime area for shopping and also eating/drinking. Breakfast was good. Premier rooms spacious and of course the bed was super comfy. David who did the bar, restaurant, reception, left luggage - an absolute credit to this hotel, couldn’t be anymore helpful.

Possibly the friendliest staff in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. David in the restaurant and bar could not be more helpful and the only reason I don’t name anyone else is because I did not get there names.

Really central location a few minutes from the bus station and shops. You couldn't really ask for a more central spot. Upon arrival at 5pm our room wasn't ready, in fact loads of people subsequently turned up without a room ready. Lots of angry people muttering complaints and some more vocal than others. Not sure what had happened but possibly a staffing issue. Anyway 20 minutes later we were in our room which was clean and as you would expect from a Premier Inn. No complaints there but there was lots of dirty pots and linen in the corridors on the way to the room. Comfy bed and a reasonable night sleep. The shower screen leaked, not sure why they got rid of the shower curtains unless it's just here. Overall I was quite pleased and it was good value for money.

staff were very rude and unhelpful. Zero hospitality. I booked the break for me and my husband as a birthday treat. We got to the hotel about 1:30 pm and needed to leave our luggage as I had a surprise stadium tour booked for him. I had already checked in from home. When we got to the reception area there were 2 female guests in front of us who also wanted to leave their bags.they had 2 medium sized trolley bags. The male staff member said to them that it is full and if they can find space they can leave their bags. Than he looked at me and my husband and rudely said you can’t leave your bags here. You need to take it with you. I explained we have an a stadium tour booked and it will be very inconvenient to take it with us and my bag was only little. Another guest that heard all of this kindly offered to take their bags out to accommodate for other guests luggage which I thought was really nice. During this commotion a very nice gentleman came to assist and began to make room for the females suitcases that were ahead of me. The other staff member kept on been rude to me and my husband and said what do you want me to do with your bags I can’t do anything and I ain’t keeping it. He than spoke over us to the nice gentleman in the room who was making space for luggage and said are we taking their bag? The nice gentleman said how big is the bag? I showed him it is small and he said it’s fine I have made space. I was really upset with the tone used and the rude manner the other male staff spoke in. He could have spoken in a kinder tone and explained it better and try to solve the issue instead of been rude and abrupt. He should not be working on front of desk if he doesn’t know how to show good hospitality. The other issue is the check in system that the hotel uses. It asks u to check in from home and than use the kiosk to scan ur qr code and get ur key. I had already done the online check in and we arrived back at the hotel at 16:5 to get our luggage and key. There was a a family in a queue waiting at the front desk. I went to scan my qr code at the kiosk and it was not working. I tried different ones and it failed to check me in. I than stood in the queue to ask for help to check in. The lady staff member was stood helping the family in front and than asked for a manager (Megs) to assist the family. In that time 2 more guests arrived and tried using the kiosk which did not work so they joined the queue. The female staff stood next to the manager was unable to assist the other guests to check in even though she was available and at the front desk. The manager was very rude and ignored that there was a queue and guests were waiting to check in and it is all because their check in system does not work as you still have to queue up. I was stood in the queue for 25 minutes and when it was my turn to check in the manager made a comment that she needs to go home. That is very rude and not professional. You do not say that in front of guests. Your job is to welcome guests and try to assist them The manager also commented under her breath that I should learn manners. Excuse me but I was not rude to her in anyway. I was just annoyed that I had to wait for 25 minutes in a queue to check in after check in time, all because their check in system does not work well at all and is very frustrating for guests as it is time consuming and not very easy, reliable and efficient to use.Well no wonder staff are rude and zero hospitality if they have a manager that is rude and unprofessional in front of guests. staff were very rude and unhelpful. Not very happy at all with my experience with the hospitality side of the hotel. I frequently book premier inns and have never ever come across staff that is so cold and rude. If you want to have a good stay at the hotel avoid interacting with certain staff and the manager. I have previously stayed at this hotel a while back and had no issues like this.

Overall you get what you expect. Comfortable bed, easy walk around the city from the hotel. However 2 issues with this stay. 1. We booked for 2 rooms one had an early check-in fee taken at the point of order online. We prepaid for the stay at the point of order £300+. We had to pay at the desk again for early check-in. Only one of the rooms were taken as a family member had a medical emergency so could not attend. At the end of the stay we have been charged to the payment card a further £78 with no explanation. 2. We asked for the room to be cleaned on the second day of our stay well before midday as per the ask of the hotel. At no point during our stay was the room cleaned.

Bra.

Ingen minisafe.

Check in staff not enough

Room was nice. Very comfortable beds. Hairdryer didn’t work . TV was old with poor reception.
