New Hotel Moxy Montreal Downtown

Moxie is my favourite hotel in downtown Montreal!

Our room at Moxy Montreal was huge, clean, and very comfortable. We didn’t receive the welcome drinks that some guests mentioned, which was a bit disappointing, but overall it was a great stay and we’d definitely come back!

Room cleaning service could be better

New hotel, good hotel but lacks basic facility like a kettle for cofee or just hot water

Excellent

Clean rooms. However, bathroom door would not stay closed as well as the shower door kept sliding open. Staff were very friendly and helpful. House cleaning was late showing up each day. The one day they came early we were still in bed and they didn’t come back at all that day. Construction happening at the intersection, noisy from 6am. Staff door was right beside our room door and whomever was coming and going proceeded to let the door slam every single time.

Loved everything about this hotel. Clean. Central. Staff was great and gave us everything we needed. Rooms are also big

Location was great and close to the metro and a nice walk to Old Montreal. Staff were kind and helpful.

Convenient location, nice staff

Everything was so pleasant. The only concern your enter and exit of Parking so confusing and unsafe. Almost run into an accident.

Great staff

Excellent hotel

This is the 3rd time since the opening and I love everything about Moxy!

The stay was amazing

This hotel was great so stay at. Only 900m to old Montreal. Friendly and helpful staff. Welcome cocktail offered. Second floor had cute lounge/hang out area. Clean and safe place to stay. Would recommend to a friend!

Had a phenomenal stay! Excellent service and very kind staff.

Funky decor, I liked it but no dresser dor clothing. Friendo staff but still in training. Noisy outside (my room had lots of windows though). Area under heavy construction. Sidewalks not all usable.

everything was great, especially the staff!

The bathroom was not cleaned. When this was pointed out in the morning, it was still not cleaned later in the day

New clean Hotel, friendly staff, walking distance to everything, great pool and gym

.

Very clean and modern hotel. Staff very friendly!

Hotel experience was fantastic with game/movie/lounge room.

Moxy is my favorite hotel in Montreal!!! The rooms are great , staff is welcoming, the gym is amazing and really good quality for price. That was my 2nd stay and not the last!

Superbe chambre, lit excessivement confortable, grande baie vitrée. Superbe salle de bain. Très propre. Seul défaut (ça fait visiblement partit du concept mais quand même) : pas de café dans les chambres :O Drink de bienvenue super bon et apprécié. Très bon service à l'acceuil

Hotel is perfect like the design

Great hotel. Would stay here again.

Room was clean, reception friendly, no coffee in the room and uber would need to be picked up at reception :/ pricey and there weren’t any special events going on to justify it. Overall would be fine but for the price. We asked for two queen as well but got two double.

Very convenient location. Staff was great. Free welcome drink tasted great. Room was stylist and modern. Clean and comfortable. 100% will stay here again next time we visit Montreal. EV charging is advertised, and available, however it’s an extra $10 charge. Which is quite expensive depending on how much charge you arrive with!

Great location, friendly staff and a convenient walking distance spot. Had a wonderful stay! Will definitely be staying there again!

Ignored at the bar two different nights. Bartender were too busy to acknowledge me but as soon as a white male entered, they was available to help. The first night, the bar was not packed but another guest noticed me waiting and came over to me to help to get service. Magically the batender helped we laughed it off but. … Another night three different bartenders …both ignore me and help others as soon as they approached the bar.

Very good hotel, clean, well maintained and close to the train station. No free breakfast though, so it loses a star. The staff were very nice, and they played good music in the elevator.

We've picked Mozy after searching among dozen of hotels and glad we made the right choice. This is a new hotel with a gym, pool and sauna. Underground parking is $36 per day but we parked across the street for $21 as the neighbour is fairly safe. 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro. Walking distance to Old Montreal. Only down side is there are no breakfast included and no coffee machine in the room. The coffee sold in the lobby cafe was terrible but there are few coffee shops at the Metro.

Brand new hotel, nice room and pool, reasonable price, very friendly staff, recommended!

The hot chocolate was horrible the english breakfast tea was amazing

Very poor service overall. Our room wasn’t ready, amenities like the microwave and laundry were broken, housekeeping missed requests, and even a simple birthday gesture was declined. What made it worse is that after raising all these issues with management, nothing was done — only excuses about why problems exist. A very disappointing experience.

All around the hotel was amazing… the staff was so friendly and helpful especially a front desk young lady named Mia.. the room was very clean and the perfect size and modern decorative to our taste.. the pool req. area was very spacious and clean.. we will definitely be staying here again ❤️

brand new. staff was very lovely all around.

Helpful friendly staff and pleasant amenities.

.

Great stay from start to finish!

Hotel staff were lovely and the facility was perfect except... There was no coffee in the room. Definitely should have free coffee available, especially after long travel.

We enjoyed our stay here. My room was spacious and clean. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. It's in a convenient location, very walkable.

I enjoyed my stay at the Moxxy. It was ONLY for 1 night but the staff was pleasant and the room was clean and spacious

Cute hotel with a young vibe. They have welcome drinks for the adults. Beds are comfy. Pillow is fluffed. Room is quiet. Unfortunately the pool has a 10 person limit (is it enforced? Idk) and kids are always there, even during "school hours".

Centrally located

Cool design. Great second floor games and seating area. Excellent top floor gym with amazing views. Room had no closet or dresser. Just hooks on the wall. It’s hard to hang socks on the wall so had to live out of my suitcase. Also the bar and cafe staff were consistently sullen. Different shifts, morning and evening, same problem. It’s expensive as I expect a hotel to be, but utterly joyless and unhappy to serve. Lastly it’s conveniently close to the Via Train. But there’s nothing else nearby. You have to walk a few blocks through an industrial zone and under a scary overpass to get anywhere. No problem if Ubering but uncomfortable for walking.

L’hôtel est magnifique , bien entretenu. Staff super sympathique. Tellement bien situé ! Je reviendrais sans aucun doute et je le recommande à tout le monde.

It was close to downtown, but parking was too expensive

Nice hip place

Weekend getaway from Friday to Sunday. Clean hotel with good parking (I read many horrible reviews for public parking in Montreal, lots of vandalism and car damage) at the hotel. 18-minute walking distance to old Montreal but also close to other major shopping and restaurants.

Good stuff

We have recommended this spot many times already :) Picture Perfect! Thank you for taking such great care of my family

Very nice place great new hotel!

Everything was great. Nice staff and the room is very clean. Walking distance to DT, old town and underground city. Hopefully there will be more laundry washers and dryers. The whole hotel has only one washer and dryer.

Great

On the edge of town, but close to lots of things to do. Lots of things to do on the property for kids and teens, my kids love this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and modern. There was a lot of space in the room, which made it feel a little empty. The lighting in the room wasn't the greatest. The bathroom was large and very nice, but not funtional. No hooks for towels, the sink area was very small with not a lot of room to set things and because of the design of the sink, everything that you could fit around it got very wet. Overall, it was a great place to stay, but the room could habe been a bit more functional.

Great new hotel. Fantastic location. Very clean full of friendly people. Highly recommended.

Great property and staff

Excellent downtown location. Very clean and new

Great service

Very nice place to stay near almost everything. Clean hotel with friendly service

The room was beautiful and clean, very comfortable stay overall. However, it was not as walkable as expected, still need to drive to most places. Also, the laundry facilities left much to be desired. Not only did we have to pay for detergent, but also for using the machines. The machines themselves are very outdated and only accept only one dollar coins, for a total of 6 for wash and dry. The staff assured us we could exchange cash for coins but for our entire stay they claimed to be out of one dollar coins. We could not do any of our laundry for the entirety of our stay and were very disappointed and deeply inconvenienced. If you are looking to stay here, be sure to keep these factors in mind.

It is a very unique hotel. The rooms are excellent. Close to many great amenities. No coffee machines or kettles in the rooms though, which is a bit disappointing.

Everything about the stay was fantastic. From the wonderful reception upon our arrival, to the thoughtful birthday wishes for our son in our room. Welcome cocktails, an unparalleled gym and games centre. Already planning our return trip!

Awesome

I love that it's new and clean. Staffs are very friendly. I also like the spacious washroom and firm mattress. However, the AC was hard to set. Hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. I wish the room could be bigger and to include a closet. To my surprise, it was a bit noisy.

Great newer hotel! Loved the common spaces with pong pong and other entertainment. Very nice communal vibe if you chose to join, or just keep to yourself. I think this new brand is spot on for our needs as a millennial couple. The pink light in the bedroom and nightlight in the bathroom were both nice touches. Hotels don't have to be all business, that's what work is for!

Great location for bell centre and train station nice walk to old Montreal and old port but new hotel a must stay

The room was really nice!!

Great place to stay

Great location, clean and quiet rooms. Amazing staff

My Bathroom Shower was dirty had hair etc…. Would have been nice to see better brand of bath products then what they currently have.

Overall very nice experience

Best hotel we have ever been - this is the haven for kids but also for adults - The gym and pool are high end tech. You don’t need to leave the hotel. We came due to a surgery of my son and the room was perfect for his disability.

Very good experience

It was very a luxury stay

.

Great location, staff and service.

The hotel was brand new and in good shape throughout. The rooms were spacious and well designed. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is no nice space outside of the hotel and the attached condo is still under construction with active lifts and cranes which are noisy, one of which was meters from the window of our room. It was also a bit disappointing that the hot tub was out of service throughout our week long stay. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend the hotel as it is close to the old port, griffintown, and downtown. Just note that the immediate surroundings are neither tranquil or lively, but rather ugly.

I spent a really good time.

Excellent service, rooms were great woth wonderful views from giant windows. Very quite. We’ll be back.

Nice place love the games.

Hôtel très bien situé pour aller à un spectacle au centre Bell. Se fait très bien à la marche. Stationnement sous l’hôtel relativement dispendieux mais très sécuritaire. À proximité du métro. Chambre très propre. Hôtel neuf.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, quiet, comfortable bed and easy parking. We loved the welcome drinks. We would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing 4 night stay at Moxy and will definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

I loved the pool and game room.

Great

Minimal room amenities, great if you're staying busy out and about!

A great new hotel, close to main train station and a short walk to old port area and downtown Montreal. Massive room

Overall it was a pleasant stay , very friendly and helpful staff, just wished they have a coffee maker in the room.

Great choice to stay in downtown areas.

Our stay was great! The staff at the front desk were terrific. Front lobby and bar were comfortable and welcoming. Parking was easy in the underground lot, which is clean and brightly lit. I also liked that the garage was secure. The room was newly renovated, clean and the beds were so comfortable! There is a room on each floor with an ice machine, and a locker with extra towels, bedding and some toiletries. This was so helpful for when we needed extra towels. No need to call housekeeping! We used the gym and were impressed with the type and amount of equipment that was available. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub. Overall very impressed with this hotel!

We absolutely loved our stay. This was the last stop of a 9 day, 4 city road trip and we saved the best for last. The hotel has such a cool vibe. We loved the game room and pool on the 12th floor. Even the restaurant was phenomenal. We cant wait to go back.

Amazing!

This is very nice hotel with some great amenities such as a pool, sauna and multiple lounge areas. We love the trendy decor and overall feel of the place. We do see some of the growing pains with a new hotel and some areas that the builder of the hotel could have improved upon. The swimming pools and hot tub don't were nice but the water felt a little dirty with clumps of hair floating. Don't get me wrong, I would stay here again but I wish they could pay a little attention to these details. Just want to finish by saying the staff were are very pleasant and we loved our stay.

Brand new hotel, lots of construction around. Everything was in great condition, there was a few stains on the walls that could of easily been cleaned up.

Small but new, friendly staff, cool Atmosphere . Maybe offer coffee in lobby in the morning

Great hotel with great staff and amenities. Strongly recommend
