This unassuming little hotel right opposite Ben Thanh market is a hidden little gem. Like with all hotels, you will have negatives. What makes this place exceptional is the STAFF. They are not seasoned professionals with years in hospitality, but teenagers. Every member of staff greets you with a smile and some take time out to talk to you. I was trying to find a fault with the staff or service but failed. I have stayed at 15 hotels in the past 4 years, (the likes of Hilton. Hyatt, Sheraton, Marriott etc.. all with their grand entrances, but very little after that). I can honestly say, I rank this hotel Number 1 above them all. Thank you to all, especially Frankie, Mary, Levi, Simon, Andy and Laura.

New hotel, really nice and courteous staff with everything you ask for. Central location and close to everything, delicious breakfast! I should mention that I paid extra for a suite and received confirmation when booking, but upon arrival at the hotel they told me that there was no suite available and gave me an upgraded room.

The room was spacious and clean and matched photos on the website exactly. As a vegetarian I have found the breakfast very good and filling (non-vegetarians shouldn't complain either with several meat-based dishes available). The staff was fantastic and extremely attentive, communicating via WhatsApp regarding arrival, early check-in and late check-out. Thank you Kelly for all your help - I really appreciate it. Overall, superb hotel in great location for exploring the city. I'll definitely be staying there next time I visit HCMC.

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with a nice drinks. staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome ( this is our second time to stay in this beautiful hotel) Everyone was genuinely friendly, professional, and attentive – they truly made our stay feel special. Kati made sure that our room is ready before we even arrived. I told Kati that I need a spa after a long day and she made me appointment right away and she even called me to reminded me for my spa appointment. She is very attentive and made you feel at home. Room is very clean and cozy perfect place to unwind after a busy day. The amenities were absolutely fantastic. From the well-equipped fitness center and relaxing spa (must try) It’s clear that the hotel team takes great pride in providing exceptional service and creating a memorable guest experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, stress-free getaway!

Her persona and willingness to go the extra miles was infectious and she was a beacon of light. Lastly, Levi was spectacular and took great pride in his work, and his passion took center stage. If we decide to go back to Vietnam, we have a home to stay at because Kati made us feel at home. I travel a lot, so I've stayed in countless hotels. This hotel exceeded my expectations and was perfect. Everything about it was perfect, that's all I can say. It's the only way I can describe it. I want to visit Ho Chi Minh City again because of this hotel. I'd like to thank all the staff, who spoke English fluently and were incredibly friendly.

This boutique hotel was so lovely. Gorgeous furnishings and decor. Bed was extremely comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. The staff are incredibly well trained. They cannot do enough for you. Kelly was very helpful and extremely informative about the area. She was fantastic! Breakfast was top notch and served the best coffee. The location is perfect. Grand du lac was amazing !!! Staff were lovely special mention to Kelly and Levi who could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at this accommodation. Buffet Breakfast was the best we have ever had and our room was freshly renovated and very comfortable bed. Staff and accommodation are excellent definitely 5 stars!!

We had a lovely stay. Close and walking distance to markets, shops and local food. The hotel was clean and had everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was accommodating to gluten free. Staff service was fantastic, going above and beyond. Especially Kati who helped us organising our stay and ensuring we got to the airport safely.

This was the second Du Lac hotel I stayed at during my trip to Vietnam. Like my review of their hotel in Hanoi, this one was the same. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional. My stay and comfort mattered to them. The breakfast was plentiful and my room was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants etc nearby. Upon check out, I was spoken to by one of the mangers who knew I had also stayed in Hanoi. The staff took the time to understand my needs and my trip and this meant a lot to me. It made me feel like a guest and not a number. I will forever remember my time in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh cities and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending these hotels to anyone. Their approach to customer service and satisfaction goes far above and beyond.

Since I worked early mornings in the lobby, I really appreciated the thoughtful service from the lobby staff who would regularly offer water and coffee, making sure I was comfortable without even needing to ask. I didn’t get to try lunch or dinner at the hotel, but the breakfast was top-notch. There was a great mix of international staples and traditional Vietnamese dishes. The staff was quick to offer refills—especially when it came to my americanos, which were always spot on. If you’re visiting Saigon and want a place that combines boutique charm with exceptional service, look no further.

We spent 3 nights here on a tour of Vietnam in July 2025. This is not a big hotel and some minor work was still going on whencwe arrived. We had a Junior Suites for 2 adults and 2 late teenage children, which were absolutely fine. Everything was modern and clean as it had just been through a refurb. We tried the spa for a massage on the last day as it had just opened, which was great. We used the rooftop bar on 3 occasions, great service and excellent views across the.city over to the River Saigon. The location of this hotel is superb, immediately opposite Ben Thanh market with so many souvenirs, shirts, etc. Many of the major sites (Imdependence Palace, War Remnants museum,etc) are walkable. The breakfst was very good and the staff could not do enough to help. It was a good hotel but all the staff from the doormen, reception staff, breakfast team, bar staff,.everyone! They made this an excellent stay.

From the moment I stepped through the charming door to the hotel I felt very welcome by Kati Ng and her colleagues. The procedures are working even though it’s a brand new hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Mi. Then it were also amazing to be able to dip in the rooftop pool after a 48 hours travel. So the hotel has my warmest recommendations.

Great hotel in the middle of HCMC

A gem right beside Ben Thanh, surrounded by so much good food. New hotel with great facilities and a wonderful breakfast spread - you can choose from the buffet spread AND order from a menu where your food is freshly prepared. From the front door, you can look inside Ben Thanh! I loved how they contacted me before my stay and offered airport transfers which were ever so slightly more than Grab. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is right across the Ben Thanh Market. It’s surrounded by coffee shops, massage parlors, restaurants and the like. Please take note that this is a boutique hotel so it’ll be small compared to the others. Make no mistake though, the service is outstanding (kudos to Ms Kati, Ms Anna and the bellhops that I forgot to ask their names), the breakfast is excellent. I think the only thing that I would ask is for the bacon to be cooked a bit more.:) We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely consider staying here again when we get a chance to come back.

Nous avons payé 99e pour la chambre exécutive double et avons été surclassés dans celle avec balcon. Le personnel est plus que charmant et attentif à tout! Le petit-déjeuner était excellent et surtout de qualité! Il y avait plusieurs choses proposées en buffet et un menu à la caerte avec soupes, omelettes… Je recommande vivement cet hotel qui est vraiment au top

The room was as described with a wonderful view of the Ben Thanh market. It’s in a great location with many attractions within walking distance. We loved it so much that we’re rebooking this hotel after we returning from travel in the North. (Oh, and the breakfast selection is phenomenal.)

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, making it extremely convenient—just a few minutes’ walk to restaurants, cafes, shopping areas, and popular streets for strolling. The space is new, clean, well-equipped, and modern. Although it only opened about two months ago and is not yet 100% complete, everything is neat, organized, and thoughtfully maintained. What impressed me the most was Ms. C. Linh, the manager—very professional, attentive, and experienced in the hospitality industry. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade and an early check-in upon arrival, which made me feel truly valued. Building work so loud had to move rooms. To use pool u have to cross building site with workman ogling you. Cost me 200 aud to extend checkout time had to pay for a whole extra day. Price does not reflect stabdard

The highlight was most definitely the staff. Really accommodating and super friendly. My friend wasn't well and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that she was well looked after medically. Cannot rate them high enough. The facilities weren't all available. No gym and sauna as the hotel only just recently opened. We booked this hotel before it was officially opened, but we were attracted by its interior design and the convenient location. We decided to give it a try even though there was not a single review yet. Our four nights' stay turned out to be the best experience we ever had in HCMC. This was a birthday trip. We got an upgrade from the basic no window room to a room with a view of the Benh Thanh Market. Streets nearby are busy in the day but quiet at night. The room is spacious and well equipped. The bed is exceptionally large and comfortable. The free breakfast is very good, though not a very big variety of selections, it is decent and delicately served. The staff are very attentive and helpful. They started communicating with you since you booked the hotel and catering your every needs with politeness, making you feel like you are staying in a 5-star hotel! I will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.
