A clean and elegant hotel with friendly, attentive staff. I first stayed here during COVID, so I didn't get to enjoy many of the facilities. This time, it was a completely different experience. The amenities are excellent, and the garden is beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay.

What a gem!! 2 families travelling together as a group of 10. (KIDS Aged 3-20) Great location, super clean and great sky bar pool area! We had lots of inclusions in our booking such as foot massages for adults, breakfast and dinner! Made it hard to leave! What made this hotel though was the exceptional customer service. By far the best we have experienced in Vietnam in 3 weeks- Quan and Tony went above and beyond helping us. Always smiling. Offering genuine tips and advice and entertaining toddler while we were organising things with reception etc. There is a gym which was great for early morning risers like myself to avoid waking the whole family! Cannot recommend this hotel more highly. We have decided to return for 1 more night at the end of our stay!

Excellent hotel in a great location with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Service was outstanding throughout my stay, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The team's attention to detail and genuine hospitality made my visit truly memorable. Highly recommended, and I would gladly stay here again.

Location was great. Walking distance to the Market, but far enough away it was quiet. Food was delicious. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of food. Dinner was also fantastic. Staff was very helpful.

I wasn't a fan of the breakfast layout. Over three interconnecting rooms with steps between two and the buffet was spread out over the three rooms although some items were in all three. Steps up into the Hotel were difficult if you are disabled, my wife has had two knee replacements and they were awkward to negotiate however the doorman always came to help.

We had a good experience at the Alagon d'Antique hotel (5 nights). It was attached to another Alagon hotel and shared dining space and roof areas. The front desk service was extremely polite, attentive, and helpful. Both check-in and check-out were pleasant experiences (and we were provided tea and candies at check-in). The location is in district 1 and conveniently located for walking to the palace, museums, the markets and malls, and the Bui Vien walking street. The front side of the Alagon is on an active street but it is not crazy busy and the there wasn't much street noise. The rear entrance does go to a much busier street. I liked the location since we could get around to major things without having to cross some of the larger roads. I felt very safe walking around at all hours, even by myself in the middle of the night. The room was very nice with a comfortable (medium firmness) king size bed, chaise lounge, desk, robe and slippers, safe, mini-fridge, and coffee/tea station with an electric kettle. The bathroom had a large tub. When we were there, the water pressure wasn't great but it was functional. As with much of Southeast Asia, they do ask that you not put tissue in the toilet. They had some nice touches like providing fresh cut flowers on arrival. Three people would definitely be comfortable in the room if you are traveling with others. We made a lot of use of the roof top offerings. There are multiple layers depending on whether you want to swim, use the hot tub, eat, sunbathe, or lounge around and talk. We used the hot tub a lot and the view on to the rotary and up the streets was nice. We received a number of coupons on arrival for meals, drinks, and a 30-min foot massage. The breakfast buffet was satisfying and offered both international and Vietnamese dishes. It had enough variety and they changed some of the dishes every day so it never got boring. The Vietnamese pastries were really good (the croissants still need some work) and they had a soup station. Some dishes were definitely better than others so you kind of have to find what you like. The massage coupon comes with an upsell. The spa in the hotel is not owned by the hotel but I suspect that a lot of their business comes from Alagon clients at the attached hotels. They were reluctant to book without an add-on of an additional 30 mins for another massage type. So, we got an hour massage for about the same price as you would get an hour at a place on the street (caveat all the massages we tried in Vietnam were about 50 mins even when they said an hour). Lots of restaurants in the area, we particularly enjoyed Hong Phat next door. It took about 30 mins to get to/from the airport. Grab taxi was about $6 for the airport each way.

Pool could have had more umbrellas and the cold water pressure was too low for a comfortable shower.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Alagoan. The staff are excellent. The location is great. Everything we needed was promptly provided.

Das Hotel kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Ausstattung war super und das Personal mega freundlich. Das Zimmer war zwar ohne Fenster, aber frisch renoviert und sehr schön eingerichtet mit allen möglichen Extras.

Ich hatte ein Zimmer ohne Fenster und direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl, der einigermaßen laut war. Aber dafür habe ich mehrere Gutscheine für Essen trinken und Massage erhalten. Und ich war müde genug, dass ich trotz der Geräusche schlafen konnte.

What we didn’t realise before arriving was that breakfast is served across separate dining areas and the pool and social spaces are a bit of a rabbit-warren to navigate, but once we worked it out we really enjoyed the whole experience together.

We ate at the restaurant twice (which also caters for the rooftop bar) and on both occasions the food was very nice. I had a foot massage whilst there, which was really relaxing. The design of the hotel is a bit quirky - there are lifts to certain rooms in the restaurant and when you go to the rooftop bar there are a few different areas.

The hotel and the room are exactly as shown on booking.com. i want a unique and beautiful place to stay and i got one! The coffee machine in the room is a nice little touch. The foods are delicious!! We booked to include breakfast, to our surprise we also received complimentary meal which we redemmed for our lunch, its Japanese bento box menu. They were superb!! Staff are also wonderful and very helpful.

The bathroom is quite small and the position of the toilet bowl is so close to the vanity. The fan from AC is annoying, blowing cold air to our face, couldn't sleep that well.

Breakfast was great . Pretty central, walk to many things.

They kept messaging asking for our arrival time and when we did arrive we still had to wait until 2pm to get a room The room had no window, the aircon was a bit erratic. There were loads of staff but they didn't seem to do much for customers . Some on mobiles.

Dobra lokalizacja. Śniadanie w porządku. Dostaliśmy dodatkowo zaproszenie na kolację sylwestrową, co było miłym gestem. W cenie mieliśmy masaż stóp, z którego skorzystaliśmy i było bardzo fajnie. Matthew z recepcji bardzo pomocny przy organizacji wycieczek fakultatywnych, chociaż nie należą one do najtańszych.

Malutki pokój, ale poza tym wszystko super. Restauracja na tarasie też w porządku, chociaż basen i jacuzzi powodują, że wszędzie jest mokro i trzeba uważać. W czasie śniadania czasami trudno znaleźć wolny stolik.

Great location, nice vibe, very pleasant staff, great pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop, breakfast with enough variety, welcome drink in the skybar was a nice touch. Free foot massage was not really good, but that’s a pretty common in the hotel spas in my experience. Better to look for massage salons with good ratings.

We loved pretty much everything. A minor negative: I think it’s a shame that the airport transfer that hotel offers is way above market price (Grab).

Great Hotel in the middle of the busy city good location to explore, eat and buy stuff on the markets. Breakfast was good, but spread over three buffets. The included massage was great.

Die Lage war central und doch recht ruhig. Das Personal war außerordentlich freundlich und bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen.. Das Frühstück war hervorragend in einem sehr ansprechendem Ambiente. Alles war sehr sauber.Der Pool war eine willkommene kleine Ruheoase.

Die Badezimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, leider ohne Dusche , dafür eine Badewanne mit Duschvorhang. Das Hotel ist über mehrere Häuser . Durchgang über Dach (Pooll/ Spa) oder Frühstücksraum bei der Lobby. Keinerlei Info als Orientierungshilfe. Wir sind wieder auf die Straße gegangen und dann in dem anderen Eingang hinein, um zu unserem Zimmer zu gelangen.

Beautifully presented hotel with antique styling but with modern facilities. Great roof top bars and pool which was peaceful with the sound of traffic 10 stories below. Great food in the restaurant and great breakfast buffet. Well located in the heart of the city.

Bed was abit hard for our liking, shower to get to the correct temperature was difficult and frustrating. Also roof pool area smoking allowed so being a non smoker was difficult to enjoy.

Disappointing experience regarding room security. After housekeeping serviced the room, a brand-new bottle of perfume purchased duty free was taken from my daughters luggage. I reported this to hotel management, but the only response was an apology and a statement that they would investigate. No offer was made to compensate or replace the stolen item. This incident significantly impacted my stay and confidence in the hotel. I would advise future guests to secure all personal belongings carefully, as items may not be safe when left in the room.

Понравилось: приятный персонал, готовый помочь в решении возникших проблем. Завтраки были хорошими и разнообразными. Влажная уборка каждый день, кровати так же хороши как и ванная комната. Отличное расположение в самом центре Сайгона.

Не понравилось: маленький номер в котором не открывалось ни одно окно? Бассейн тоже очень маленький, есть какие-то лежаки, старое и ужасное покрытие на полу, местами пластмассовая зелень,,,,,в общем, вся эта зона требует капитального ремонта. Все три ночи сверху над головой был сильный шум, спать нормально не удалось. Так же, все что происходило в коридоре в любое время суток, было хорошо слышно. Все это сильно смазывает впечатление от проживания.

We loved the coffee workshop, Anna and Nicholas were amazing. The massage was lovely too. The free lunch we had on the first day was absolutely delicious! Most of the staf were great, especially Nicholas! He is such a nice guy!

We loved staying here. Fantastic location. Staff super friendly and helpful. Products in room. Cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast was well stocked and lots to choose from. Lots of amenities. Some great complementary experiences. Foot massage was so welcome.

Great spa and pool and rooftopbar area. Our room was very big. Breakfast was plentiful. We ate there twice and had cocktails twice. The service from all the staff: reception, bar, restaurant, spa and breakfast was 1st class. The free extras were very welcome. The airport shuttle worked smoothly (which is not always the case). I wish we had longer there. I would definitely have had another massage.

Bardzo dobre śniadania. Bardzo mila obsługa: na recepcji, w SPA , osoby sprzątające, restauracja. Bardzo dobrze sprzątane pokoje. SPA - bardzo fajne masaże w dobrej cenie, korzystaliśmy z masażu nóg i masażu całego ciała. Hotel w dobrej lokalizacji, komunikacją miejską można wszędzie dojechać. Wzięliśmy opcje z lunchem, do wyboru były 4 zestawy (smaczne), jednak dla osób, które są na dłuższy pobyt mogą być zbyt monotonne.

Na zadane pytanie dotyczące transferu z lotniska ( trzy razy ponawiałam pytanie) hotel odpowiedział dopiero po tym jak recepcja z hotelu w Hanoi zadzwoniła do nich. Po tej interwencji kontakt był już idealny. W jacuzzi zielona woda, co spowodowało, że nie baliśmy się z niego korzystać.

When we first arrived we were given a room with no window. This is a trap. Make sure you request a room with a window.

The hotel is very elegant and functional. The location is superb, you can easily walk everywhere in the CBD. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. A special mention to Quan, the doorman, who welcomed us everytime with a smile and helped us with bags/pram/etc.

Very nice hotel with a five star feel. Nice details such as fresh flowers in the room and a complementary foot massage. Nice rooftops with good views, and good location in the tourist center.

The organisation of the breakfast, we had to wait for free tables and the staff did not seem to have it under control. Only one elevator in the lobby which led to long waiting times.

We are the family with 1 child 15 y.o. Stayed in the room with extra bed. Design of the common areas and breakfast are very good, also location is great. The hotel corresponds 4*. Feet massage was very good.

If you book half board, please be informed that only one dinner is included. We only got one dinner (set menu) instead of two for our two-night stay.
