Good stay for 3 days wonderful staff

Mon séjour s’est très bien déroulé. L’accueil a été excellent : j’ai pu obtenir ma chambre rapidement, même en arrivant avant l’heure de check-in. La chambre était très bien. J’ai été un peu surpris de constater qu’il n’y avait pas de douche, seulement un bain avec un pommeau, mais ce n’était pas un gros inconvénient. En revanche, j’ai eu la bonne surprise de découvrir que la piscine était ouverte et chauffée — un vrai plus pour le séjour

Tudo impecável. Só senti um pouco de dificuldade com o chuveiro, mas eu sou bem alto e não ajuda o processo. Destaque aos atendentes, todos SUPER educados e super disponíveis! Adorei e voltaria com certeza.

Ideal spot, near public transport. Lovely garden. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. Very happy t have spent a week here.

Proche de tout à pied

It has character, quite well maintained for a hotel with decorations of the rooms that are not uniform and mainstream. Some bits / details in the room looked they need repair / restore / some attention (eg wall paper corners, faucets / taps). Staff young and friendly.

Rigtig fint hotel, med flinkt personale. Det fejler som sådan ikke noget, men det trænger alligevel til at blive renoveret. Alt fungerer som det skal, og er pænt og ryddeligt.

Very lovely quiet hotel to spend some days in Brussels. Very well located and close to multiple cafes and restaurants.

Le camere e la location in generale erano molto carine e pulite. La via dell'hotel di sera non mi è sembrata molto sicura.

Hôtel sympa avec piscine, bien placé pour un visiter Bruxelles même si les rues autour ne sont pas toutes très bien fréquentées (on passe de boutiques de luxes à des ruelles sombres). Très bon petit déjeuner, piscine petite mais très efficace surtout lors de cette canicule. La chambre était spacieuse et propre, même si il n'y avait pas la clim le ventilo était très efficace. Seul bémol on était au rez de chaussé donc un peu de bruit le soir

Das Hotel ist ein Unikat und wirklich unglaublich niedlich. Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Property is a bit old fashioned. Close proximity to shopping and dining was a plus.

Les personnes à l’accueil sont très sympas. Les parties communes du Rez de chaussée sont sympas et le jardin avec petite piscine très agréable. Mais des qu’on se dirige vers les étages, tout a été laissé dans son jus donc c’est vieux, sombre, pas forcément très propres. Am Ian a assez glauque en fait. Un bon coup de rénovation serait nécessaire pour en faire un endroit vraiment sympa. Et il n’y a pas de restaurant.

Poor lighting throughout the property. It was like walking iin dark. rest was Ok.

The hotel was lovely. I liked the Bohemia shic style of the place and the history of the building. The bed was the most comfortable beds that we have slept on! And the pool and the garden are were beautiful. The breakfast is extra but has a great selection. We really enjoyed our stay!

Ok hotel for a stay in brussels. Nearby metro (5 mins walk) makes getting around easy. The immediate locale of the hotel is a little rough. It's in a back alley with a Burger king at the end, so you have to wade through the crowd of Deliveroo drivers who loiter outside to get to the hotel. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and nice. All spoke good English. Hotel corridors were very dark. This is obviosuly the vibe they're going for - a romatic, boudoir type hotel. I nearly fell down the stairs getting out of the lift a couple of times though - so maybe not the safest. The room itself was clean enough, but dark and very warm. Even with all the lights on, i couldnt see in my suitcase - I had to use my phone torch to see in. There was no air conditioning so it was hard to escape the heat. There was a regular fan at least. There was a seating area outside, which had people talking and laughing loudly into the early hours. Even if I shut my window (which i didnt want to in the heat), this kept me awake on a couple of nights, even 4 floors up. Also the cold water was sporadic on whether it came out warm or cold. So I was sometimes having to drink warm water in a warm room. Not ideal. Bed was comfy - good firm pillows (which was a relief coming from Germany where the pillows are just flops).

El hotel está bien situado para visitar la ciudad. Destacar el patio con la piscina, ideal para relajarse un rato. La habitación era sencilla pero cómoda. El lavabo era pequeño. Creo que hay dos tipos de habitaciones y nosotros estábamos en las clásicas.

Endroit atypique qui etait l'hotel historique des amants et des infidèles bruxellois. Les chambres gardent encore les caractéristiques de cet etablissement unique. Une déco d'origine, des murs et équipements anciens. Il y a le wifi et la tv pour rappeler que nous sommes au 21e siecle mais c'est tout. Amateurs de chaines d'hôtel, passez votre chemin. Ici tout est authentique et vieillot.

To begin— the biggest issue for us was that the sink was leaking out of the back and onto the floor for the first day/evening/and next morning, and took 24 hours to be fixed after being reported only a couple hours after our check in— meaning we had to brush our teeth/wash our hands/wash our faces all in the bathtub. Essentially, when the tap was turned on, all of the water and liquids that went down the drain just came out the back and onto the floor. (I asked for a partial refund, even for a small amount, and was denied) I booked the Superior Double room, which was way more antiquated than anticipated, and also looked completely different from the photos and was floor to ceiling covered in floral yellow wallpaper instead of the black/dark one that is shown in photos for the Superior room. There was no shower as well (only a bath) or kettle/coffee/tea in the room, unfortunately. The shutters also didn’t open more than shown in the photo, so there was no “city view,” as advertised. The pool and outdoor area was the redeeming factor, as it was beautiful and super well maintained. Overall, quite disappointed since I expected more from a hotel quite far from the city centre also at this price.

Wonderful garden and pool area! Only thing to complain about was the very small toilette, couldn't close the door (and I'm short).

Voici une photo de la « vue sur la ville » mentionnée dans la description de la chambre pour laquelle nous avons payé un supplément. Résultat : vue sur un mur, nuit noire toute la journée dans la chambre. Hotel soi disant complet donc aucun geste du personnel ni aucune excuse, rien du tout. Par ailleurs la salle de bain était sacrément affreuse, miroirs cassés au niveau de la baignoire, taches qui ne partent pas, (cf photos) … mais les photos du site ne montraient qu’un morceau du lavabo, évidemment, seule partie potable de la pièce. Bref, si vous aimez la lumière du jour et la modernité, ne venez surtout pas ici.

Wifi non fonctionnel et quartier tres bruyant mais accessible à la ville.

Cutely outfitted boutique hotel in Brussels, the room was very petite to say at best, yet the bed was comfy, the shower and bathroom worked and I had a quiet and relaxing night. I like the formula of the place, when I get back to Brussels I'll consider coming back here to find out more about the history of the place.

It's not bad. Bed is comfy! Convenient location close to Metro. The downside is the lighting in the room and the reception it's dark. Also, you have to leave your room keys in the reception everytime you go out since the keys has a big metal keychain that you don't want to carry around when you're touring the city.

I like the location and the hotel. It is very practical and next to the city, has what you need. There is no TV and no mini fridge at this room. The hygiene is OK. The reception is beautiful.

The location of the hotel is great. The staff was friendly. However, I would say the rooms are quite outdated and bathrooms are poorly designed to accommodate comfort. The common area and bar is cozy.

Hotel itself was not what i was expecting. Although all staff were very friendly and helpful

It was nicely cleaned hotel, shower and bathrooms were very nice. I just didn't like the fact it was lot of noise and commotion that could be heard from the window and the entire hotel was dimly lit, it felt like walking in dark even on a brightest day.

The location of the hotel is good , just 10 walk to the station, it is in the side alley so when you walked alone back in the dark it would feel a bit dangerous but the local here look fine and i felt safe all the time. The sound proof of my room is very poor, i always heard ppl talking outside or in their room and it only would be quiet until 0100 am. No air conditioner at all, but i can see heater inside the room(not sure it worked) And the room is quite dull, even i try my best to turn on all the lights in the room , still very dull. maybe that is romantic to some ppl but defintely not for me. bathroom is clean , have heat water but sometime just not very stable. TV is tiny but that is not quite important..no freezer in the room.

The location was excellent, round the corner from a main shopping street, five minutes walk from a metro station and walking distance from the Grand Place. The hotel is full of character and the staff friendly.

Great little hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a 24 hr front desk. Very typical hotel in Europe. However, because its an old hotel there is acutal keys for the doors. Which was fun but with how big the keychain was it wad nessecsry to leave at the front desk while out during the day. With that, there is not identification system to get your key back. You could ask for any key. Otherwise, everything was great!

Staff was really helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel was so cool, I was able to look up at the stars and swim. The hotel room was clean and spacious.

Not my favorite

Admittedly this is a relatively budget hotel and I'm factoring this in to my comments. It's a relatively narrow building with a narrow, wooden panelled stairway all the way up to the top floor (there is also a small lift). That narrow staircase appeared to be the sole fire escape and being on the 5th floor, I felt distinctly uneasy at what I perceived to be the unsatisfactory provision of safe escape routes in case of a fire.

Easy enough to check in late amd the luggage area was key to store our luggage before our train to london. Conveniently located near BK and common reatil shops like H&M. Some of area within 10 minutes walk was a bit dodgy, we returned one night to several blocks blocked off by police.

I loved the vibe at le berger with the low lighting and the wonderful wallpapers and decor! I'll return!

I unfortunately booked here and the day before my trip I was told by the airline that there was a national strike in Brussels. I tried all different solutions, such as Eurostar from the uk etc, but everything was so much more expensive. I requested for the hotel to either refund my booking due to the extreme circumstances or even change my booking to the next week, they declined both. They also wouldn’t even offer as much as a voucher to make it a little bit cheaper to rebook. I personally think this is just awful customer services and if you’re staying here be prepared for them to have 0 empathy!

Et ok hotel for en forretningsrejse eller et weekendophold i en storby som Bryssel. Ligger i god afstand fra Parlamentet og tilbyder en ok morgenmad formedels 15€ - dette behøves ikke i forvejen, men kan købes lige inden man går til fadet. Til familie eller kærlighedsture vil større, lysere men også dyrere hoteller nok være bedre, selv man reelt ikke mangler noget og ethvert rum virker ens når kyset er slukket

Veldig hyggelig personale, morsomt hotell. Kunne ikke lukke døra til WC fordi rommet var så lite. Veldig kaldt rom, fikk en oljefyr på hjul, det hjalp litt. Fin frokost hvis du er litt tidlig ute.
