Reviewed Aug 4, 2026When I arrived they had no room for me. I only had 12 hours to enjoy Rome, and after 2 hours trying to work something out with the front desk person I ended up booking another hotel nearby. Things they did right or were out of their control: The person at the desk advised the previous room residents checked out at 10 and left an uninhabitable room. He offered another room at distance. He provided a bottle of water. He called a service number and waited on hold and I was refunded the room.
What didn't go right: I wasted over 2 hours at this property due to continuing miscommunciation with the front desk person. He brought over someone else to help translate but even that didn't work out. After 2 hours, I thought there was another hotel still available while he expected me to go book another room. He finally advised Booking.com would call me to offer another room, they did not. They sent an email 3 hours after this ordeal started. I would have been stuck with my bag that whole time. In the end, I started my sightseeing at 1pm instead of 10am. I lost 25% of my total time in Rome. The new hotel at 3 min walk was cheaper, nicer, I checked into a room right away, and included breakfast (it was booked last minute so maybe why cheaper).

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026We had the deluxe double room which was very comfortable and spacious with nice bathroom. It was very close to Termini station and easy to get to with luggage. Location is great to get to all main historical sites but not particularly nice street given its proximity to main train station. The foyer of apartment could do with a fresh paint job to present itself worthy of the price they charge for the room. Overall for a quick stopover in Rome it worked perfectly for us.
The foyer and stairwell looked dirty and walls could be cleaned and painted to make it look more inviting. The street was a bit grotty given it is very near the train station. Not a nice view from window.
