We had a fantastic stay at Metland Venya Ubud and would highly recommend it. What really made the difference for us was the team. Everyone was incredibly kind, warm, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. They genuinely care about their guests and made us feel very welcome from the first day to the last. They also had some lovely personal touches that made our stay particularly special and memorable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities and a stunning pool surrounded by nature. The location is peaceful and relaxing, while still being a great base for exploring Ubud and the surrounding area. We also really enjoyed the activities and services organised by the hotel, which were very well arranged and added a lot to our experience. Overall, a beautiful hotel, excellent service and, above all, a truly wonderful team. A big thank you to everyone at Metland Venya for making our stay so special and memorable. We would happily come back and recommend it without hesitation!

This hotel is worth every penny! The place is absolutely amazing you truly feel like you’re in paradise. The cleanliness was excellent, and the service was exceptional. Everyone made us feel like royalty and genuinely cared about our comfort. We were initially worried that the hotel would be too far from the center, but it wasn’t far at all only about 10 minutes by car. The hotel also provides free transportation to and from the center. Even the short drive is enjoyable, as you get to see beautiful villages and forests along the way. Thank you for the wonderful floating breakfast, the delicious afternoon tea, and the special photoshoot. A special thank you to Indra, our photographer, for capturing such beautiful photos. You pay for your room and receive so many complimentary experiences that we actually didn’t have enough time to enjoy them all! Don’t hesitate to book this hotel it is truly worth it. I highly recommend it, as it will add so much to your Ubud experience. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay one of the most beautiful experiences of our trip.

Everything was incredible except the villa was little bit old but the thing that I like is the view.

Options at breakfast were great and the staff were excellent. Diubud had one of the best dinners we ever had in Ubud (specifically the Udang Bakar with different sambals). Location of the hotel is great, away from the hustle and bustle and the free shuttle into Ubud Centre made it easy to travel to and from. The Venya Spa was exceptional, would highly recommend!

The villas are a little dated and could use a refresh/renovation, they weren’t as clean as expected. We changed rooms to a suite in the main building after an incident the first night (bugs in our villa that came out all over the bed when the bedhead light was on). Understandable to expect bugs being in the jungle but it was definitely too much compared to ‘normal’. The staff were very helpful and understanding of the situation and the new room was a lot better.

What we especially loved was the hospitality of the staff, as well as, of course, the beautiful surroundings and the nature all around us.

Tout était parfait ! Je voyageais seule et c’était mon premier hôtel à Bali. Dès mon arrivée, le personnel m’a accueillie avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de chaleur. Je me suis tout de suite sentie très à l’aise. Tout le monde est souriant, attentionné et toujours aux petits soins. L’hôtel est magnifique, la piscine avec la vue est incroyable, les logements sont très propres et le petit-déjeuner est varié et très bon. Une superbe première expérience à Bali, je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

The bathrooms need some serious refresh and it’s a shame when everything else is so nice.

L’Hôtel est magnifique, très bien décoré, entouré de végétation au coeur de la jungle avec une vue à couper le souffle et une piscine géniale. De plus le personnel de l’hôtel est très accueillant, toujours souriant et efficace. Nous avons pu échanger avec de nombreuses personnes sur place pour avoir des conseils et découvrir la culture balinaise. Les prix aux restaurants ou bars sont très correct vis à vis de la qualité. Le petit déjeuner combine un buffet et une carte avec des plats plus sophistiqués

I read a few reviews before going commenting on how lovely the staff were and I 100% agree. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. It was the little things that made Metland so beautiful. Every day when we came back to our hotel we had an adorable towel bear or towel dog sitting on our bed. We were collecting wooden ducks and came back to them decorated around a towel duck. Breakfast was also amazing with a huge range of options. We had dinner at the restaurant multiple times and they had a sax player who was absolutely marvellous. The pool was also stunning and the spa top notch. Everything was really well priced. If we felt lazy we could have a golf cart buggy drive us up the hill which was always fun. Being at the resort itself felt like an activity.

They are very friendly, a professional, and special things to Ms Nita in the restaurant was very helpful lady special thanks to the front office, ladies ( Ayu Sri , mei , Elvi , Dewi ) For their support and smile during my stay .

We had a wonderful stay at Metland Venya Ubud. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and very well located, making it a great base for exploring Ubud. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the facilities and, above all, the friendly and attentive service. A special mention to Nico, from the restaurant and breakfast team. He was incredibly nice, welcoming and always had a smile on his face. He really made our mornings even more enjoyable! 😊 We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The pool view is amazing. The staff is great and always welcoming with a smile. They were very accomodating and communication was great even before our arrival.

Cleaningless of the villa can be improved especially the bathroom. Private pool water is also not very clean as it has no water pump. The staff can however come clean it on demand.

We love the hotell!! The facilities, super private and a more curated everything and deliciously crafted for guests. The rooms are incredible, we were on our honeymoonn and they prepped a very special welcome to us in the decor-beautifully decorated. we loved the floating breakfast by the pool, down by the elevator, where you have a breathtaking view of the forest- (the pool was one of my favorites spots). The SPA is a must do when in Metland Venyaaa Ubuudd! It is turthfully the best spa we have ever experienced in our lives (we ended up booking 2 sessions-and did the incredible flower bath). The best part about our experience was the staff- never have we been so well treated in our entire travelling experience (which is not small). Everyone was soo genuinely nice and helpful and amazing. We will definetely be backkk

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic stay here. Everything was genuinely 10/10, from the beautiful room and daily cleaning to the incredible food and the wonderful facilities. The room was excellent and kept spotless every day. The staff were always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. The pool area was fantastic too, with excellent food and drinks served right to you. The location was perfect for us — lovely and peaceful, away from the hectic centre of town, but still only a short drive away when we wanted to go in. That said, the real star of the show was the staff. They were, without a doubt, the friendliest, kindest and most welcoming hotel staff my wife and I have ever come across. They made our trip feel genuinely special, and honestly, the holiday wouldn't have been the same without them. It was a pleasure seeing them every day and getting to know them. We actually found ourselves looking forward to breakfast and dinner partly because we knew we'd get to see them. By the end of our stay, it genuinely felt like we were saying goodbye to friends rather than hotel staff. We'd especially like to mention Rai and Nico, who were incredibly kind, warm and welcoming to us every single day. Their friendliness really stood out, and we feel like we made two friends rather than simply meeting members of the hotel team. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough, and we would absolutely love to come back. 10/10 in every respect!

The water was not hot enough for the bathtube and also for a long shower. I informed the staff, but unfortunatelly they coulnt fix it. I guess the water heating was set on a lower temperature or something. My friends were in a villa and the water there was perfect, so i guess it was a problem only with our part of the building. Still I couldnt take a long bath which i really love and vacation and which was the reason, why i choose the room :/ Also, the TV had only few channels with bad quality.

Smuk beliggenhed med udsigt til junglen. Supersøde og venligt personale der er meget behjælpelige. Min datter havde fødselsdag og de kom med kage og sang til hende. Jeg havde glemt noget i byen og de fik arrangeret transport med Grab. Jeg fik følelsen af at de ville hjælpe med alt for at jeg dik der bedste ophold

Værelset havde en lidt fugtig lugt men da jeg nævnte det blev det løst med en affugter. Man bor trods alt i junglen .

Gerçekten iyi ki seçmişiz dediğimiz bir konaklama deneyimiydi. Odalar tertemiz, çalışanlar güler yüzlü. Shuttle hizmeti var, shuttle kullanmazsanız 100-150₺ gibi bir fiyata otele gelebiliyorsunuz. Sabah kahvaltısında a la carte olarak 1 tatlı 1 tuzlu seçilebiliyor oldukça başarılıydı. Tam bir resort deneyimi sunuyor. Havuzunu mutlaka deneyimleyin ve Ubud’a gelecekseniz hiç düşünmeden tercih edin.

من أجمل المنتجعات التي اقمت فيها كل شي كان يُقدم بشكل احترافي ابتداء من الاستقبال، مرونة التعامل والضيافة الترحيبية وصولا الى الغرفة كانت نظيفة جدا وهادئة وبها عدة مطاعم للعشاء والافطار ، العشاء كان مميز جدا والافطار كذلك بنظام المينو سأعيد التجربة مره اخرى بكل تأكيد

Un hôtel splendide, niché au cœur de la nature. Les espaces communs comme les chambres sont décorés avec beaucoup de goût, dans un style raffiné et apaisant. L’atmosphère est calme et sereine. L’hôtel est situé en pleine forêt ; il est donc tout à fait normal d’entendre les animaux qui l’habitent. Loin d’être dérangeants, ces sons contribuent au charme des lieux et créent une ambiance unique. Le personnel est tout simplement exceptionnel. Je n’ai malheureusement pas retenu tous les prénoms, mais un immense merci aux équipes de la réception, au personnel du restaurant (avec une mention spéciale pour Tria) ainsi qu’aux chauffeurs. Leur gentillesse, leur professionnalisme et leur bienveillance sont remarquables. La cuisine est raffinée et le petit-déjeuner à la carte est absolument délicieux. C’est sans aucun doute l’un des plus beaux hôtels que j’ai eu la chance de découvrir en Asie. Merci à toute l’équipe du Metland Venya Ubud pour cette expérience inoubliable. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Le lieu où est implanté l’hôtel est magique et c’est la force principale de l’établissement. Mais jusqu’à quand ? Car des constructions apparaissent juste en face (les travaux font d’ailleurs du bruit). Le restaurant est plutôt sympa.

Les « villas » et l’ensemble de l’hôtel sont vétustes et mériteraient un sacré coup de neuf. C’est limite honteux de recevoir des clients dans ce contexte. Des odeurs d’égout régulières sont à vomir. Le SPA est vraiment catastrophique. Mais pour tester encore faut-il avoir un rendez-vous. Un bon conseil à fuir. Les petit-déjeuners ne sont pas à la hauteur. La politique commerciale et la relation client de l’établissement ne sont pas à la hauteur. Vous devez par exemple déposer des cautions successives au lieu de payer ce que vous avez consommé à la fin de votre séjour. Non seulement cela témoigne d’un manque de confiance vis à vis de la clientèle mais en plus n’est pas très intelligent commercialement car cela ne pousse vraiment pas â la consommation.

The location is beautiful but note it’s about a 20 minutes ride from downtown Ubud. The breakfast, pool and spa services were excellent

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They gave good recommendations and helped us arrange our purification ceremony. Tery was exceptional at taking us for our ceremony. The cleaners are very friendly. Opi was also very helpful at reception and very friendly.

The Inclinator to the swimming pool was not working, so the walk down and up consists of many stairs. We got stuck in one lift because it was also not working properly. I also didn't like that there seemed to be language barriers between us and the staff. There also seemed to be some miscommunication regarding our late check out.

otel çok güzel, merkeze yakın. her sabah muhteşem bi manzarayla uyanmak harika hissettiriyor. çalışanlar düşüncelerinize önem veriyor. çok memnun kaldık. evet ubudtaki diğer otellere göre pahalı ama fotoğraftakinden bambaşka çıkan otellerde kalmaktansa tercih edilir. arkadaş tavsiyesi üzerine tuttum zaten ve pişman olmadım. odalar gayet temiz böcek falan yok. sadece ilk geldiğim gün banyodaki tezgah üzerinde karıncalar vardı, bildirdim ve ilaçlandı bir daha aynı sorunu yaşamadım. kahvaltı güzeldi. merkeze belirli saatlerde giden shuttle var. kurtarıcı olabiliyor. 75.000idr tesiste kullanmak için çek verdiler ama işe yaramadı pek, o fiyatta alabileceğiniz bir şey yok. diubud çeki veriyorlar ücretsiz kahve içebiliyorsunuz ve fotoğraf çekimi yapıyorlar ücretsiz bir şekilde isterseniz geleneksel kıyafetlerini de kullanabiliyorsunuz sağlıyorlar. fotoğrafı dijital kanallardan size ulaştırıyorlar. anı kalsın istedik fazla zamanınızı almıyor değerlendirin bence. biz konaklamaya başladığımızda daha önceki günlerde yaşanan bir fırtınanın etkisiyle havuz çok kötü haldeydi. fotoğrafını ekledim. temizlenmesi 2 günü buldu ve kullanamadığım için üzüldüm. havuz açıldığında ise içerisi hala çok kötüydü. böcekler ve yapraklar falan vardı havuzda. sadece fotoğraf çekinmek için girip hemen çıktık. normal zamanda da mı böyle bilmiyorum. karşıdaki ağaçlardan dolayı mı havuz böyle ama bizim konaklamamızda durum bu şekildeydi. havuzun tadını çıkarabilmek isterdim. onun dışında her şey harikaydı. her şey için teşekkürler.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The location was peaceful, surrounded by nature, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped with excellent facilities. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, and the afternoon tea was a lovely addition to our stay. Thank you to the Metland team for making our visit so enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff were great. The food was reasonably priced.

The pool doesn’t look anything like the photos, the pool was not full to the top so it looked old and not at all like the photos. When house keeping did our room they made a dog out of a wet towel and left it on our bed which made our last stay there not so pleasant with a wet patch on the bed. Not sure if the towel they left on our bed was clean as it was very wet.

10.000 km yol yaptık ve bu oteli tercih ettik. Havuz kapalı, küvet bozuk. Odalar bakımsız. Madem havuzu müşteri varken tadilata alacaksınız, müşteriye bilgilendirme maili atmak zorundasınız. Konaklamayı yarıda kesip başka otel aramak zorunda kaldık. Çünkü insanlar bu kadar parayı otelin imkanlarından faydalanmak için veriyor, oda kahvaltı için değil.!

A beautiful location, the swimming pool villa was so nice, the staff were all so lovely, a free shuttle bus into Ubud was brilliant. The food was exceptional and afternoon tea was a lovely. The spa treatment was so relaxing.

Overall, the hotel was very clean and well maintained. As we were visiting for our honeymoon, the hotel kindly upgraded our room free of charge, which we greatly appreciated. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. However, the main reason we chose this hotel was the swimming pool, which unfortunately remained closed during our stay. Considering that the hotel is priced above average, this was quite disappointing. At check-in, we were informed that the pool would reopen within two days, but by the time we checked out on the fourth day, it was still closed. Had we been informed about this situation before our arrival, we would not have chosen this hotel. Greater transparency regarding important facilities would have helped us make a more informed decision.

We really enjoyed our stay at Metland Venya Ubud. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The best part was definitely the infinity pool, the panoramic view, and it was such a nice spot to just relax and take everything in. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were also very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, it was a really lovely experience, and we’d happily stay here again.
