The Light Exclusive Villas and SPA

We really enjoyed our stay at The Light Exclusive Villas. The staff were absolutely lovely—always friendly, welcoming, and happy to check in with us throughout our stay. The location was great: tucked away in a nice, quiet area, yet only a 10-minute walk to the main strip of shops, cafes, and restaurants. There were also spas, minimarts, and dining options even closer. Our villa was very spacious with a great-sized private pool. Housekeeping was excellent, leaving the place feeling fresh and tidy every day. We were also pleasantly surprised by the included breakfast. While it's a smaller selection compared to a large resort, there was a good variety, and the cooked-to-order eggs were a delicious highlight each morning! Overall, a comfortable, peaceful base for our trip.

The villas are quite dated and could use a little love and updating. The bed frame was showing its age, and the mattress was much too firm for our preference. If you plan on cooking regularly, keep in mind that while the kitchen is reasonably equipped, the cooking utensils are fairly limited (though this didn't bother us as we ate out). Lastly, the area is nice and quiet at night, though we did hear a fair amount of cats making themselves known overnight

The location was perfect, 15 min walk to the center and beach. We booked a 1 bed villa with private pool and it was the best thing for us! The size of the outside area is very spacious, same for the room and bathroom! Loved the private pool as we spent most of our mornings and late evenings there which it was very relaxing! But the one thing that makes this place is the staff, I don't have words to describe how nice and kind they are! It made a massive impact on us their kindnesses and lovely chats every day! There is a saying: People bless the space! And it was 100% true here!

Начнем с позитива - заселили раньше, пошли на встречу, тк после 12 часового перелета ждать заселение тяжело. Теперь по текущей ситуации: виллы не новые, но не убитые в хлам, но все же сильно уставшие...подушки, постельное, матрас, полотенца - все сильно б/у, банные полотенца когда -то были белыми, теперь имеют темно-серый цвет, местами рваные... Посуды на вилле толком нет - надо просить, но принести то принесут, а на следующий день заберут и все начинается сначала.... Даже мисок под орехи/чипсы вы на вилле не найдете - так что кто рассчитывает на полноценную готовку на вилле -забудьте. 1 вилка на виллу, 3 тарелки и 2 чашки... А при заказе из ресторана еды - часть заказа просто не принесли. И будьте внимательны - при расчетах нам вписали как платную услугу трансфер из аэропорта - пришлось разбираться, тк она бесплатная. Апогеем стало выселение и проверка виллы (позор для отеля уровня 4*) - нам стали предъявлять претензии за стаканы которые на 4 -й день проживания забрала команда уборщиков... Да, завтраки - ужас, выбор минимальный, соответствуют уровню отеля 2,5*... хотите нормальный завтрак - и тут персонал предлагает ПЛАТНОЕ меню завтраков.... Единственный плюс отеля - персонал. Приветливы, улыбчивы, помогают.

В отель этот я не вернусь - до океана не близко (минут 20 пешком), норм супермаркет - 15 мин на машине, уставшее состояние всего... Единственный плюс - персонал.

Location, great staff

Breakfast had very limited choices, so we ended up eating out most mornings. We paid for a romantic candlelight dinner but my wife is vegetarian and some of her dishes were cold and one dish was simply uncooked tofu with a dressing, we could have had a much more extravagant meal in the restaurant a couple of doors down. We also booked a driver for the day and discovered we needed to be more specific where we wanted to go as we asked for the Tegallalang Rice Terrace but he instead took us to Alas Harum Bali which is listed as a recreation centre and is more suited to Instagramers and somewhat more costly than the UNESCO fields we wanted to see! Our room was closed to the front and it can be noisy with other guests returning and traffic during the night

Location was great.staff very friendly in fact I reckon the manager is probably the happiest man in Bali.

The food options weren’t fantastic, breakfast was by far the best meal of the day. The SPA facility, we used it twice- but, sadly the therapist was on her phone during my husband’s massage. Which obviously ruined it for him, as she put zero effort into his treatment.

Lovely villa complex very friendly and helpful staff a good level of service and great location.

The in room TV was very old only supporting YouTube streaming and no live tv. So when you wanted to just chill with a movie there was none 🙁

We had the most amazing stay at this villa during our honeymoon! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and always kept very clean. Housekeeping did a fantastic job and cleaned the room whenever we wanted, which made our stay even more comfortable. The floating breakfast was absolutely incredible—beautifully presented, delicious, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Most importantly, all the staff were truly wonderful. Everyone was so kind, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home and made our honeymoon even more special. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We had an unforgettable time and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Bali. We can’t wait to come back!

Спасибо большое персоналу виллы, без вас отпуск был бы не очень но вы ребята его дополняли, будем по вам скучать и спасибо вам большое за всё❤️ Номера очень чистые, бассейн каждый день чистили, вайфай так же отличный. Вообщем все прекрасно, надеемся что вернемся в ближайшее будущее к вам опять :)

The staff were super lovely - we had a couple of issues with the rooms which they sorted. Shame we weren't there one more day to enjoy the perfect villa. Close to a few great restaurants. Breakfast was included (although a buffet - one day we came late and it was empty so they let us order off the menu)

Rooms close to the front/reception are older & noisy. We were orginally in 102 and asked to move because of the road noise. Plus the deck was broken in a few places and the pillows were awful. Moved to room 226, which was much quieter. Only issue with room was the shower pressure - which they fixed by removing the filter so then the room was great. Sadly we were leaving the next day. Breakfast buffet was average but okay.

Wir hatten eine absolut traumhafte Zeit in dieser Villa! Das Haus ist wunderschön im balinesischen Stil eingerichtet und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besonders der eigene Pool war ein absolutes Highlight – einfach herrlich, um dort zu entspannen. ​Es war alles blitzblank sauber, perfekt aufgeräumt und extrem gepflegt; man merkt wirklich, mit wie viel Liebe und Sorgfalt hier alles instand gehalten wird. Auch die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen; wir hatten alles, was wir für einen perfekten Aufenthalt brauchten. ​Ein weiteres Highlight war das Frühstück: Es war unglaublich lecker, immer frisch zubereitet und abwechslungsreich. Ob frisches Obst und Gemüse oder die riesige Auswahl an À-la-carte-Gerichten – es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. ​Was unseren Urlaub aber erst so richtig unvergesslich gemacht hat, war das Personal. Wir wurden so herzlich und liebevoll umsorgt, dass wir die Mitarbeiter richtig ins Herz geschlossen haben. Wir sind unglaublich dankbar für diese tolle Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder! 💖💖💖

The staff were truly exceptional and went above and beyond to meet our every need, always with warm smiles and outstanding professionalism. A special thank you to all staff. The breakfast was fantastic with both buffet and à la carte options, offering a great variety each morning. Our villa was beautiful, spacious, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean throughout our entire stay. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, making it the perfect Bali getaway

Didn't like that we told them we was getting tattoos gave us an old sheet to put on ourselves but still got ink on the other sheets and had to pay extra $150 for it. The flooring around the pool needed some work as there was broken boards and lifted boards too

Older villa but still amazing and comfortable

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always with a beautiful smile as usual Balinese. General Manager Mr Madee does exceptional job to make sure guests getting appropriate services. The breakfast was excellent, plenty options and the menu changes slightly everyday so gives you more options. Close to all shops and Seminyak village.

Fine villaer, dejlig stor pool. Personalet er virkelig søde, og gør alt for at finde en løsning hvis man har et problem, det gør virkelig ens ophold rart at personalet altid gør hvad de kan for at man er tilpas.

Der manglede en del i villaerne med henblik på køkkenet. Tog lidt tid før man fik sin morgenmad efter bestilling.

Lovely staff and service - great location walking distance to most place such as beach shops and markets - would advise to bring own pillows - and my only issue (not complaint) the entrance to the room is not undercover so when it rains you get drenched walking from living area/kitchen to the bedroom, would have been nice if the door to the bedroom was undercover as well - but otherwise great

The villa was beautiful. Very quiet & tranquil. The private pool was fantastic. Breakfast was great. Staff will cook eggs any way you like, bacon, pancakes...all wonderful. All the staff are beyond friendly & polite. Nothing is too much trouble.

10/10 place. We came here for our honeymoon and everything from the staff to food, spa and villa was amazing. We like to travel a lot and we always try to book a new place but honestly this is the first place that got us thinking to revisit in the near future. If you're looking to book a driver we also definitely recommend Kadek, he's a very nice person, drives smoothly and is very knowledgeable.

During our eight‑day stay, we were consistently welcomed and cared for by the staff. They were always available to help in any way we needed, and they never missed an opportunity to greet us warmly or chat with us about our plans for the day and how our adventures turned out afterward. The buffet was a great start to our morning, which ran from 7-11 am. One gesture that truly stood out was their flexibility with our departure. Knowing we had a late flight, they allowed us to stay three hours past the 1:00 p.m. checkout time without any extra charges or hassle. Their kindness and attentiveness made our experience with the staff exceptional.

During our stay, we were surprised by the condition of the room, especially given the property’s high rating. The entryway had significant mold—or at least a black substance—around the edges. Inside the bedroom, the paint on the walls was peeling badly, with obvious patches of touch‑up paint that didn’t address the underlying issue. The ceiling also had large water stains that appeared to have been painted over rather than repaired. The bathroom was no better. The concrete tile walls near the tub flaked off a powdery substance when touched. The air conditioner struggled to cool the room and frequently shut off during the night, even on the lowest setting. The mattress was old, and the wooden bed frame was extremely worn and squeaked with every movement. Whether it was the mold, the flaking walls, or something else, I experienced breathing issues every night from the first day. If I were the owner, I would be embarrassed to have guests stay in a room in this condition. I won’t list the room number because, based on what we experienced, I suspect other rooms may have similar issues. The stay had the potential to be wonderful for my spouse and me, but the unacceptable condition of the room overshadowed everything else. To add to the frustration, the internet connection was extremely weak. With the router located at the front of the building, Wi‑Fi in our room and even in the patio area was consistently poor. With some investment and proper maintenance, this property could easily become a top‑tier destination. Unfortunately, as it stands, the room conditions made our experience far from what we expected.

The light was a beautiful stay. It’s our fourth time to stay there . Staff are so attentive to everything for a perfect relaxing holiday. Breakfast crew are all fantastic. Hubby’s breakfast cooked to perfection. I really loved my Bali banana pancakes make for me every morning. I’m Abit fussy with my tea so I do a byo tea bag to breakfast every morning the staff always provide hot water in a tea pot with freshly cut ginger nice way to start the morning. Reception staff always at call 24/7. As we have stayed there before staff remembered us no nam mam or sir “always greeted with our names “ . As I am disabled with knee joint issues . Staff always there helping me on the front steps & getting in & out of the grab taxis. Staff at hand always for directions to good food places & attractions. Cleaning crew - room cleaned every day. Always striving for the guest to have the most beautiful experience & relaxing villa to stay in. Fresh ginger to our villa every day for that nice cup of tea. Cold wine glasses in fridge on arrival which I asked for . Comfy bed with a variety of different to pillows for a great night sleep.

Breakfast is great and delicious. Even though the buffet table is looks like big, it contains lots of various and amazing foods! Swimming pool is also pretty good. Everything is clear. Our kids were having fun times in the pool. The most impressive thing is, in my wife’s birthday, three staffs take a cake to knock our doors and sing birthday song to us! It’s an amazing surprise for us and gave my wife a wonderful birthday!

An International Power Sockets is a bit loosing in 1F desk. Otherwise, everything is very good!

Im Prinzip hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen. Die Villa ist sehr schön und bietet viel Platz. Außerdem wird die gesamte Anlage gründlich gepflegt und gereinigt. Was unseren Aufenthalt einzigartig gemacht hat, war die aufmerksame und extrem freundliche Versorgung durch jegliches Hotelpersonal. Sie haben sich um jegliche Anfragen, Sorgen und sogar Krankheitsfälle mit überragender Fürsorge gekümmert. Besonders bedanken wir uns bei Ega, Tini, Madi, Logis und Wayan. Und bei vielen anderen, dessen Namen wir nicht mehr erfragt haben.

- Zimmerausstattung: Matratze durchgelegen, sehr wenig Platz/Ablagemöglichkeit für Klamotten - Außenbereich: Outdoor-Dusche wäre super gewesen und der Pool hätte sauberer sein können - Frühstücksangebot hätte größer sein und variieren können
