Ótimo hotel para quem faz questão do quarto Pokémon, para outros nem tanto pois é caro e não oferece café da manhã (há um serviço de contratação de café no quarto como uma marmita, de um restaurante parceiro). Tinha dos melhores recepcionistas dos hotéis que fomos, boa localização, mas realmente preço inflacionado!

The staff was great. Always doing the extra mile and room was as very comfortable.

Easy to get to the centre of Kyoto. The room was spacious for the five of us and very clean. Loved the shower room and bath which was great for soaking sore feet after a big day.

The beds were quite firm and I woke with sore hips each morning, but that's probably more personal preference.

Our Family room was Huge! The beds were so comfortable and really clean. The staff, especially Mac on reception were so helpful. Mac actually overheard me worrying about getting the train with luggage to our next destination and he gave us local knowledge even down to which exit gate Osaka side to save us trekking on stairs. The location was perfect for a little walk after dinners in the busier parts of town.

We stayed in the Pokemon room as a surprise for our children - who really loved it! They had great fun trying to find all the Pokemon and got a kick out of using pokemon plates, cups etc. The kitchen facilities were small but good and meant we could cook our own breakfast which was convenient, also a large table to sit at. The location was good, a short walk from a subway station, but its tucked behind a building (with a supermarket which was super handy) so there is no natural light in the room. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great.

Keep in mind these are considered apartments, not a hotel so there is no room service. A TV that had something in English would be good for quieter evenings.

Banquette trop basse par rapport à la table de repas dans la chambre. La signalétique sur les murs sombres dans les couloirs n’est pas très visible… mon réseau e sim ne marchait pas bien dans leur hall pour commander un Uber et l’accueil ne pouvait pas commander de taxi pour plus de 4 personnes (je n’ai pas compris pourquoi).

Excellent rooms and able to fit family of 4 comfortably. Apartment was spacious, well kept, and had everything we needed. Friendly, respectful and very helpful staff. I even managed to get a run in in the fitness room during my stay. Location of the hotel has a Fresco supermarket near which is very convenient.

La limpieza de la habitación, todos los días no la limpian entera, las camas te las hacen cuando llevas más de dos días. Si cambian las toallas todos los días si lo prefieres y te quitan la basura.

We stayed in a themed Pokémon room, which our children loved! The hotel is well kept and the room was so spacious and comfortable. It offered many places and hangers to hang clothes out for drying, which was helpful in the rainy season we visited in.

I had made an error in booking (I booked a room that was designated for more people than was needed) but the wonderful staff helped to fix that. Throughout the process, they offered various options and were transparent with any associated costs with changes. I ended up getting an appropriately sized room for my family and was able to stay in the same room for the duration of our visit with no change fees. Every interaction with the staff was helpful and warm in both messaging and in- person. They gave wonderful food recommendations, gave clear directions in getting to our destinations, and called us a cab expeditiously each time. We stayed at two different MIMARU locations during our visit to Japan; one in Tokyo and one in Kyoto and they were both wonderful.

We did not have breakfast as an option at this accommodation. The location was excellent.

There was no plug in the kitchen sink to wash dishes etc.

The hotel is in a quieter part of kyoto, which we loved and had lovely walks along the Kamo river and the little streets. We had the Pokemon room, which had a bunch of art work, and a giant snorlax pillow that the kids loved, the room was big and comfy. The staff was amazing and the luggage forwarding service worked like a charm

Two toilets in our room which I’ve never seen before! Separate bedroom which was great. Room divider for the kids space, large couch for sitting and having a meal or watching TV. Laundry right by reception, cute kids play room. 15 minute walk to large shopping and food market. Luggage forwarding was all digital and fast compared to some hotels were you fill out forms by hand. Conbini nearby.

Lots of families so laundry was always busy and my l items were removed and taken to front desk when I was maybe 5 minutes late getting out of washer - odd experience. Minimal amenities only instant coffee in lobby none supplied to room.

Excellent large modern tidy apartment room layout and accommodations in a new modern apartment hotel building in Kyoto; great responsive staff; great bathroom and shower; very good small kitchen with pots pans dishes; bright and airy; very comfortable twin beds (plus bunk beds we did not use). Great for long stays of a week or more. Wonderful location near Kamogawa River, city bus routes, grocery store around the corner, lots of eateries nearby. Onsite laundry washer&dryer a blessing.

WiFi was spotty at times (mostly fast but then would cut out then return); Dinner table seat pads were too soft for comfortable dining or relaxing for over 20 minutes; AC hard to adjust at times.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Mimaru baggage delivery makes travel easy. Plenty washing machines and dryers with option of either cash or cashless. Spacious room with affordable price.

The carpet starting from the hallway up to room were a bit smelly. A few areas in the room were not that clean (accumulated dusts). We don't really like that all of the beds have wheels so they got easily moved unintentionally - especially bad for people who have a bit OCD.

A truly fantastic hotel! The staff went above and beyond—they were incredibly efficient, helpful, and welcoming. The location is absolutely perfect, situated just a short walk from both the subway and major bus lines, making it incredibly easy to explore Kyoto. On top of that, the amenities are amazing: having a gym on-site was a huge plus, and the playroom was fantastic for keeping the children entertained. The room itself featured the excellent, high-standard equipment that Mimaru is famous for. Everything was clean, modern, and perfectly thought out. We loved our stay here!
