Only a trickle of water from kitchen tap. Loud plumbing noises. Traffic noise. No subdued lighting. No reception staff. It's reasonably cheap, but I recently stayed in a hotel in Peterborough which was fractionally cheaper and so much better

No reception no staff. Room wasn't replenished with tea toilet rolls, no one to ask. If felt very impersonal.no bar. No where to have breakfast in hotel.room floor wasn't cleaned. Made a note when booking it was my 5 year wedding anniversary no personal touches. Room small felt like we was dealing with A I . Corridors had bad stains on carpet. Very disappointed stay.

Being close to the venue I attended.

The quality of the room was very poor. There was damp on the wall beside the bed, and the room was not properly cleaned. There was also a knife missing from the cutlery set, leaving only a fork and spoon. There were no staff around in case of an emergency. During heavy rain, water came through the wall and ceiling, soaking my bed and the wallpaper. That during the remaining days of my stay I had a few asthma attacks. The fire alarm system was not suitable for guests with disabilities or additional needs. The shower floor was rusty, and the shower unit was positioned too high for shorter people to reach comfortably. The microwave was also installed far too high for me to reach safely. The TV were too high up for shortsighted people and if subtitles were on still couldn't follow. The list of complaints goes on.

The location and kitchenette also the staff were excellent and bent over backwards to accommodate my husband and I who has hearing loss and was dealt with in a respectful way.

No snakes and drinks available to buy in the past they had. Staff not easy to find any. In the past there was a larger seating area with a large TV to watch in the reception area.

As we were early we wished to leave bags.Despite numerous attempted phone calls and an e mail it took an hour and a half before phone was answered, Had to make another payment to check in early as there was no facility to store baggage..After a long train journey and the heat this problem marred the beginning of our break.. Difficult to get problems resolved as staff don't always answer phone or e mails. No baggage storage for early arrival (said there was on website). No housekeeping at all (said daily housekeeping on website). Step of approximately 12 inches to step up into the shower,awkward and slippery when stepping down to get out. (no rubber mat in shower).

We have stayed at this hotel before, but this time it was for a sad occasion, as we were there to attend a funeral the next day. But we have been there on Happier times and enjoyed it

Very clean both inside the building and inside rooms. It was a good location to stay if you want to go to local attractions such as Dudley zoo and castle as it was opposite. There was a kitchen in the room with a fridge so this was handy although we did have breakfast in the town which was a 5-10 min walk to Witherspoons.

It was unusual not to have staff onsite, but it was easy to access the building and room with security numbers. Felt Safe and secure especially with cameras onsite so this wasn't a real problem

Very clean and well maintained, for the age of the building its interior in the rooms has been modernised well but still keeps the old fashioned look throughout. Amazing staircase! Filled with history. Large car park with easy access. Close to local attractions. Sinatra suite well worth the money, lots of space for a large party of people

Easy to access and great location to the Black Country Museum

Check in process was really easy, the online questionnaire is easy to complete. We are happy with parking , plenty space easy to park and to check in with generous allowed timw. Although the hotel is unmanned, but we have all the instructions and amenities we need for our stay. The room was clean and bigger that we thought. Overall we are happy with our stay and will repeat next year.

The bed is a bit small for a couple and really hard firm, but still ok for short stays. Bins without a lid, can easy catching flies , I would suggest to have bins with lid instead. If possible a iron and iron board can be provided either to the room or communal area for guest to borrow and use. Eg. ( Laundry room or main reception area)

Upon arrival at our stay my partner turned on the television and it was broken the screen looked like it had been smashed. The shower head was broken the water sprayed over the shower, There were blood stains on the bed base. The kettle in the morning when my partner went to make a cup of coffee smelt that bad it made him Sick, and was full of limescale. I have contacted booking.com and the hotel about this matter, and received NO communication back.

Everything about the hotel is fantastic. The check in process is excellent. If you have any issues, the staff is on hand to help.

It was great to have free parking and an easy self-check in. The bed was comfy and it was great to have a light switch next to the bed.

Having not been there before, the hotel name was slightly different to what was given, so made me unsure that I was in the correct place. There was a dirty bathmat/towel on the floor when I arrived, but the rest of the room was clean and tidy.

The place was lovely and clean, with absolutely everything you need, great place to stay!!

We paid to upgrade to a certain room but when we arrived somebody was already in there! We were then told to stay in a different triple bed room which we did not need. I asked for the extra £40 to be returned and was told I may get it back i may not????? I am still waiting. Really really bad management and communication.

There was no breakfast here and no staff around. Felt very empty and took a little while to find our room. Value for money, basic accommodation. Good location, but busy and noisy.

Have someone to meet you when you arrive. TV could be bigger, size of computer screen.

Clean, cheap and central

There was nothing to like about the hotel now there is no bar or restaurant and no staff on site felt unsafe while outside having a cigarette as 2 gentlemen was trying to get into the property they had no code for the door they continued to wait for a guest to open the door.

heating element under the sink was making a loud noise all night so only slept from 4:30am to 6:30am.

Kitchenette equipped with basics in room so able to make simple meals, cook own breakfast, bring in a takeaway. Self check in with codes. Large car park (register car on arrival for free parking)

Double room would have benefitted from bedside tables, tea towels and an extra kitchen stool to sit at work top when eating. One appliance emitted a high pitched buzzing noise which disturbed our sleep but we eventually found out where it was coming from and switched it off.

Was cleanish and tidy. Room was what id expect for price paid. Booked the room for its haunted reputation, and although no ghosts were spotted ots an atmospheric place. Slept well 😌

Absolutely zero staff, no room keys so had to keep putting codes into the door lock, which if you were coming in from a night out would have been difficult. Some areas like the stairs could have done with a hoover. Also no ghosts made themselves seen 🤭

Located at a busy roundabout and as the hotel lacks soundproofing, the noise is extremely disturbing. Hotel has no staff present and uses codes for entry, code to room consits of 12 digits on a keybad that has seen better days. Hotel lacks all form of ventilation and the heat alone forced us to change hotel the first day... sorry to say, but avoid at all costs.

There were no reception staff at all. Did not know how to get in the room, had to search the hotel to find another guest and ask the question... they had same problem. The bed was so uncomfortable definitely needs upgrade on a mattress.

Jó helyen van, Dudley központja kb 5 perc sáta, állatkert kb 2 perc, buszmegálló 5 perc, éttermek, élelmiszerbolt is közel van. Három ágyas szobában voltunk, elég tágas, jól felszerelt, az ágyak kébyelmesek. Főzési lehetőség van, de a mi szobánkban lábas, serpenyő nem volt hozzá.

Foltos volt a törölköző, hiányzott a serpenyő.

I had an amazing stay at the station hotel ans banqueting. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean, they exceeded my expectations. Very secure and safe place to stay. The staff are very easy to get in touch with and very helpful nothing was too much to ask. Would highly recommend this hotel, will definitely be staying again in the future.

The location of hotel was ideal for Black country living museum and the zoo which we visited. Lots of food outlets nearby as well. Nice and flat to walk. Hotel had clean sheets and coffee and tea and milk sachets.

No staff at hotel. Must hotels I stayed in have staff you can ask. No idea which room on which floor, a notice would be nice along with taxi numbers and list of food outlets close by, as google did not list them all.

The hotel has some great history.. was nice to look at all the nostalgia in the hotel.. rooms are a great size and have everything you need.. the beds were super comfy and we had a great nights sleep.. will definitely return soon., thank you station hotel

Zero staff on ‘reception’ like solving a puzzle just trying to get in the front door. Not just us, all guests looked to be in the same boat. Full automation’ is sort of ok but what if you can’t get in (phone numbers given were not answered)? What if you run out of loo roll…? Problematic
