The hotel was beautiful, the stone work of the building was stunning and the rooms were immaculate. And the staff were so friendly and helpful from the minute we entered the hotel.

Ästhetisch ein Traum, wie ein Khmer Tempel, sehr sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück und ein kleiner, aber feiner Pool zur Erfrischung…fantastische Lage nahe zu einem Food Market vor der Stadtmauer gelegen - alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

ABER: die Geschäftsleitung verfasst bereits gleich mit der Buchungsbestätigung ein äußerst seltsames mail, wo sie darauf hinweist, dass man kein gutes Service wie in einem großen Hotel erwarten könne?!? …beim Einchecken wird man dann sehr eindringlich darauf hingewiesen, dass man nichts stehlen darf ( es wird im Zimmer alles gezeigt, immer mit dem Schlusssatz: das gehört dem Hotel und sie dürfen es nicht mitnehmen) und man bekommt eine große Tafel mit Fotos gezeigt, was im Zimmer alles verboten ist und welche Strafen darauf stehen.. so ist beschmutzte Bettwäsche mit 1500 Baht zu bezahlen. Ein aufgekratzter Insektenstich und der daraus resultierende Blufleck führte bei uns zu dieser Strafzahlung…. ein etwas seltsames Gebaren für ein Hotel?

Location, very friendly staff, amazing manager

Towel charge for stains even though there were none. After the manager explained they use eco friendly laundry service for the environment we understood. Maybe mention it at check in why there is a charge. Facilities are a bit outdated. Breakfast was meat heavy for a vegetarian.

Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a fruire del servizio laundry per un problema di fornitura della zona e cmq l'hotel non ci ha trovato una soluzione alternativa. Sono cose che possono capitare, si poteva forse gestire meglio.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Phor Liang Meun Terra Cotta Arts Hotel. L’hôtel possède une architecture authentique et pleine de charme, qui s’intègre parfaitement dans l’ambiance de la vieille ville. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal pour découvrir Chiang Mai à pied et profiter des principaux sites de la ville. La chambre et la literie sont confortables et agréables dans l’ensemble. La piscine est également parfaite, très agréable pour se détendre après une journée de visites. Mais le véritable point fort de cet hôtel reste sans aucun doute le personnel. Toute l’équipe est exceptionnelle : souriante, polie, gentille et toujours disponible. Nous avons notamment été très bien conseillés pour organiser nos visites et excursions autour de Chiang Mai. Leurs recommandations étaient pertinentes et nous ont vraiment aidés à profiter au maximum de notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner est également bon et propose un choix satisfaisant. Une très belle expérience, avec un personnel remarquable et un hôtel plein de charme. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

סך הכל היה בסדר גמור. החדרים נחמדים אך הריהוט מעט ישן והמקלחת חשוכה ומיושנת. ישנה גם מדרגה בכניסה לחדר המקלחת שעלולה להיות מסוכנת כשנכנסים בלילה כשחשוך. הארוחת בוקר היתה דלה אך סבירה. השירות היה טוב אך בכל פעם שהזמנו אטרקציה דרך המלון הם דרשו תשלום במזומן וזה היה פחות נוח. לאחת האטרקציות שהזמנו דרך המלון הגיעה מדריכה שדיברה מעט מאוד אנגלית ונהג שלא דיבר אנגלית כלל. באופן כללי, היה נראה שהמדריכה והנהג רצו רק לסיים את היום והמדריכה אפילו שמה כיסוי עיניים והלכה לישון בזמן היום

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans la Villa Terra Cotta et la villa est vraiment magnifique. Elle possède énormément de charme, avec une décoration typiquement thaïlandaise, très soignée et pleine de caractère. La literie est également de très haute qualité et le confort général est excellent. Le personnel est adorable, disponible et vraiment aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. L’emplacement est également idéal pour découvrir Chiang Mai à pied, avec le marché quotidien situé à seulement quelques pas. Le seul véritable point négatif pour nous reste le bruit. La villa se trouve de l’autre côté de la rue par rapport à l’hôtel, directement au bord d’une route extrêmement passante. Dès très tôt le matin, la circulation devient importante et, même avec des boules Quies, il nous était malheureusement impossible de continuer à dormir. C’est vraiment le principal défaut de cette magnifique villa et il faut en avoir conscience si vous avez le sommeil léger. Nous avons également séjourné pendant la saison des pluies et n’avons donc pas pu profiter autant que nous l’aurions souhaité de la petite piscine/jacuzzi, l’eau étant un peu fraîche à cette période. Malgré ces deux points, nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour. La Villa Terra Cotta est superbe, dépaysante, très confortable et idéalement située, avec un personnel remarquable. Si le bruit de la rue ne vous dérange pas, c’est une très belle adresse à Chiang Mai.

Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel avec une équipe très chaleureuse et accueillante. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Petit déjeuner bien varié. Tout autour de l’hôtel à 2 pas, plein de restaurants et bars bien agréable, ce qui est un plus car l’hôtel n’en a pas. La piscine est un vrai atout, en plein cœur de ville!

L'hôtel est splendide et magique la nuit. Les chambres sont spacieuses (même si les éclairages ne sont pas très pratiques). La totalité du personnel est extrêmement attentionné et prévenant (un merci spécial au jeune homme qui a appris quelques mots de français pour nous faire plaisir !) Nous avons adoré notre séjour ici, l'emplacement est très bien situé dans la vieille ville et permet de se balader à pied sans souci

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas mauvais mais pas top non plus. Le choix est limité et rien de très transcendant n'est proposé si on ne mange pas local le matin (ce qui est mon cas) Mon fils de 20 ans semble y avoir trouvé son compte en revanche Les horaires sont pourtant très larges ce qui est intéressant Nous ne l'avons testé qu'un seul jour (sur quatre nuits) C'est dommage car la salle utilisée est aussi très jolie et pourrait servir à d'autres moments de la journée

We loved everything. We had a ground floor room opening on to the pool. Great location. Good breakfast. The staff was what made it so special. They helped us with everything like booking tours, recommending great restaurants and helping us with transport. Such lovely people.

Séjour parfait dans un très beau lieu. L’hôtel qui est stylé comporte de beaux espaces verts. Il est très bien situé près du marché de nuit, nous avions une chambre 308 donnant sur la piscine, au calme, avec balcon. Le petit déjeuner est très complet et tout le personnel est attentionné et charmant. La piscine est superbe et à une température parfaite pour tous.

Huis bestaat uit 3 losse hotelkamers met 3 losse sleutels, geen keuken en niet sfeer van woonhuis. Plunge pool is zeer klein en geen gebruik van gemaakt.

A beautiful hotel filled with artworks and a pleasant atmosphere; the staff is warm and welcoming. Samita arranged our trips to Pai, and the food was delicious. It’s just two minutes from a local food market and close to the Saturday market. We booked a room with direct pool access ❤️ Thank you for a wonderful stay 🙏🏻 we will be back.

We stayed at the house (separate building) and unfortunately checked out early due to frequent and severe smell of sewage in the rooms. Staff very supportive with extra cleaning but smell would simply come back via the bathroom drains.

We had a very relaxing stay in a deluxe suite with pool access. Staff are extremely friendly which gives you a homely feel. Check In and out was a breeze. A 7 Eleven is nearby as well as numerous eating options. The local markets and night markets are very close. We used the Grab app for a ride service which is excellent. If in Chiang Mai again we would definitely stay here.

This is a truly gorgeous property and a hallmark of the neighborhood's picturesque brick buildings that feature decorative Thai/buddhist elements (I remember taking so many pictures of it when I first came to the old town several years ago). The rooms are large and well appointed with generous amenities. If possible, try to score one with vaulted wood ceilings for extra charm! The staff are attentive and helpful (even which checking in/out at odd hours). Breakfast is diverse and tasty---I appreciate the expertly cooked a la carte egg dishes.

The property is a little expensive but you will not regret spending extra after the trip. The pool is a little awkwardly located and could use some more greenery to enhance the setting but it is fine overall. A very small request (probably only from coffee snobs like me) would be to more delicately aerate the cappuccino foam in the morning so it is velvety with microbubbles rather than dry with larger bubbles.

Skøn stor pool med saltvand. Morgenmaden var fantastisk! Intet mindre! Alt ved dette hotel var skønt. Beliggenheden super - gåafstand til alt. Vi var i et fitnesscenter 200 meter herfra som var super og billigt.

Can’t think of one thing!

The staff was attentive and thoughtful. They were so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in helping us finalize our itinerary. My friend had an injured knee and staff was able to give detailed info about tours and locations so we could determine what activities worked. Breakfast was a treat of Thai foods and some non Thai options for those who may want them, including perfectly cooked eggs and choice of coffee drinks and teas. They warn that they are a small facility and can't accommodate all requests, but they truly went above and beyond for us. The facilities are gorgeous with a lovely pool. It was so close to everything we walked most everywhere. Youd be crazy to stay anywhere else if you can stay here.

Only get two bottled waters, but they offer tea, snacks, filtered water, and cute activities in hotel.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und gut gelegen. Der Weg zu unserem Zimmer als auch das Zimmer selbst haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und auch das Frühstück war wunderbar.

Our room overlooked what appeared to be an open commercial kitchen. Not a negative for us, but the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant for lunch or dinner.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel, Martin and the team are so friendly and attentive! I felt so at home and i didn't want to leave. This hotel is a traditional tropical paradise showcasing its many beautiful wood carvings and ornaments. It's in a great location, close to the market and many amenities. I will definitely be visiting again. Amazing value for money and amazing hospitality. Thank you so much.

There are beautiful terracotta art pieces and panels all around the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently situated inside the old city.

The room is lacking a comfortable chair to sit on. There is enough space to accommodate an armchair or small sofa.

Staff are so welcoming, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The open feel of the hotel is lovely.

My friend and I shared a twin room. There was only one place to hang a towel - one peg on the back of the bathroom door. Please provide more hanging space for towels, and your hotel will be perfect.

Wir hatten vom 8. bis 10. Juni 2026 einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Phor Liang Meun Terracotta Arts Hotel. Die freundliche Ankunft war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Das Personal war zu jeder Tageszeit unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und stand uns in jeder Situation zur Seite. Das Hotel ist wunderschön im traditionellen thailändischen Stil gestaltet, genau das, was wir in Thailand gesucht haben. Es befindet sich in einem relativ ruhigen Viertel Unser Zimmer und Balkon waren sehr schön gestaltet und das Bett war bequem. Der Pool ist sauber gestaltet mit Pflanzen und sogar Eichhörnchen, die ihn noch charmanter machen. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl an Speisen. Es ist jedoch erwähnenswert, dass es 350 Baht kostet, wenn es nicht im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen ist, was meiner Meinung nach etwas teuer ist, wenn man es mit anderen Frühstücksoptionen in Thailand vergleicht. Das Hotel bietet auch Ausflüge an, die man direkt vor Ort buchen kann, und sie holen einen sogar direkt vom Hotel ab. Insgesamt können wir das Phor Liang Meun Terracotta Arts Hotel wärmstens für einen Besuch in Chiang Mai empfehlen.

Very nice design, cozy room, spacious, good location, descent service, kind and caring staff

The staff were super friendly and helpful with good English. They helped us book tours and their breakfast was excellent plus their had a really nice large pool. (at least 40m long maybe longer) The decour and architecture of the hotel was beautiful and well designed, our bedhead alone was this beautiful terracotta design and we had high pitched wooded ceiling that were surperb in our room. Highly recomment this Hotel thats staying in Chiang Mai.
