Well located in the heart of the historical city.

Breakfast room is located underground and we do not really see the house foundations.

The front desk the day of the check out they say it was a mistake they charged with a breakfast I never had. But I see they went ahead and charged my card Go see the camaras. I never walked into the breakfast area. Unbelievable

לא אהבתי שלא היה אוכל טבעוני בארוחת בוקר למרות שהצהירו שיש אופציה כזו , שילמתי על ארוחה טבעונית ולא אכלתי כלום לא היה מה לאכול ולמרות שהודעתי על כך בקבלה לא זכיתי לקבל זיכוי, קצת מאכזב .

De kamer is veel te klein je kon amper rond het bed lopen, je kunt niet in en uitladen voor de deur en we hadden best veel bagage. Bij aankomst zat er maar 1 receptionist wat irritatie opwekte bij de andere arriverende gasten. We konden ook niks vragen daar was geen tijd voor. De bedden waren kei hard of je op een betonnen plaat lag.

La colazione è ottima, sia in versione classica che internazionale, c'è anche il chia pudding, frutta secca e succhi e ottime torte artigianali. Bonus: è presente un'area benessere con piscina, sauna e palestra e in camera c'era una piccola bottiglia di porto con dolcetti.

Me gustó mucho la ubicación, muy céntrica así como la limpieza y la comodidad de las camas. Creo que calidad precio, tratándose de una estancia de dos habitaciones en pleno agosto se ajusta bastante.

El tamaño de las habitaciones no es demasiado grande , es cierto, pero están perfectamente equipadas y renovadas.

The location was great.

The size of the room was very small. Food choice not great for a vegetarian. We were in room 1116, located beside housekeeping supply closet. Every morning after 7.00 am there was so much noise, glasses or bottles being banged together, a door screeching every time it was opened hoovers on super early but worst of all the staff roared at each other all the time. The housekeeping wasnt great, they never dusted anywhere and they never restocked the coffee and milk, I had to look for it almost every day , so disappointing.

L’hotel è davvero bellissimo, in una posizione super e comodissima per visitare tutta Porto. Le camere sono molto belle, accoglienti e curate.

A malincuore, però, devo lasciare un punteggio non del tutto positivo a causa di alcune problematiche di organizzazione. Abbiamo avuto dei problemi con il pagamento che, a detta della struttura, erano dovuti a Booking. Sono cose che possono anche succedere, ma quando abbiamo segnalato il problema per la prima volta e si sono accorti dell’errore, non ci è stato nemmeno chiesto scusa per l’accaduto. Credo che un semplice gesto di attenzione avrebbe fatto la differenza. La piscina aveva l’acqua davvero molto fredda. Non sono assolutamente una persona freddolosa, ma era praticamente impossibile utilizzarla. Durante il soggiorno è arrivata anche un’altra coppia che ha avuto la stessa impressione e si è lamentata proprio per questo motivo. Per una mia necessità avevo chiesto del latte di avena o di soia caldo, ma mi è stato portato del latte normale. Anche in questo caso, secondo me, bisognerebbe prestare particolare attenzione alle richieste degli ospiti, soprattutto quando riguardano esigenze personali. Mi dispiace davvero lasciare questa recensione, perché la struttura ha un potenziale enorme ed è un hotel che, per posizione e bellezza, meriterebbe sicuramente una valutazione molto più alta. Non sono solita fare recensioni di questo tipo, ma credo che siano proprio queste piccole attenzioni a fare la differenza e a trasformare un soggiorno bello in un soggiorno davvero impeccabile.

Loved the location, in the middle of everything. On arrival in the room we received 2 macaroons and a bottle of port wine, which was lovely and on check out we were given 2 pastel da nata’s which again was a lovely touch

The only full length mirror was at the side of the bathroom door, with a bedside cupboard in the way so you couldn’t actually check yourself on the way out. We asked the bar taff to change the tv channel in the bar area to a news channel instead of a recurring hotel video, this was ignored

The hotel was beautiful and in an excellent location right in the city centre. Our windows faced the inner courtyard, so we couldn’t hear any noise from the busy street. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

I would have appreciated having a small coffee machine in the room. In my opinion, instant coffee is not really suitable for a hotel of this standard. Lower pillows would also have been much more comfortable.

No parking. I had to pay 85 Euros for 3 day at SABA parking. No one helped me and my wife carrying my luggage. We had to figure it out ourselves while taking care of child.

The staff provided exceptional service, especially when I needed guidance on transportation and figuring out the Metro station and stops to my destinations. They were always willing to help and very effecient! The location was perfect, located on the main Rua de Flores with shops and cafes close by.

The shower water never seemed to get to hot.

Hotel w świetnej lokalizacji. Dość kameralnie i czysto. Cichy pokój od strony dziedzińca. Bardzo dobra i pomocna obsługa.

Śniadania ogólnie smaczne, jednak wybór warzyw był dość ograniczony – dostępne były właściwie tylko świeże ogórki i pomidory. Brakowało również podstawowych dodatków, takich jak choćby oliwki.

Fantastisk sted midt i Portos gamle bydel - og alligevel roligt om natten. Det lå tæt på alt, hvad der er værd at se og lige midt i en utrolig livlig og stemningsfuld gade. Dejlig morgenmad og dejligt værelse med kager og portvin som velkomst :)

Top location in the center of Porto in a walking zone

The room on the street side are a bit noisy ( window isolation could be better to block out the street noise especially late in the evening). The rooms just above the garbage bins are to be avoided: the collect the garbage with a lot noise in the early morning between 6 and 8 am ( three times every day!)

Location is excellent. The room was clean and they left a cute welcome gift and little hammer for St John’s festival which was the day I arrived.

Room was quite small and we had to do some Tetris to find places to keep our things and put our suitcases away.

Situated in Ribeira District and within an easy walking distance to major historic sites, the metro, and the ⁠Douro River. The bedrooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally comfortable. The bed provided an amazing night's sleep, and the bathroom felt like a luxurious spa. A wonderful morning buffet featured fresh fruits, cakes, and plentiful continental options that perfectly set us up for city exploration. The staff went completely above and beyond, greeting us with authentic warmth and delivering flawless hospitality from check-in to check-out. We had a truly unforgettable holiday and will absolutely choose this hotel again when we return to Porto. Highly recommended to anyone looking for the ultimate guest experience!

No view from balcony window made the room feel a little claustrophobic. There was no built in wardrobe space. Sure there were places to put clothes and hang some clothes but I personally prefer a built in wardrobe. It's a minor thing really.

Perfect location - on the main street so easy access for walking around the City. 10mins to the bridge to get across to Gaia, found lots of restaurants on quieter streets which were fantastic. TimeOut Market and Mercado do Bolhao definitely worth a lunchtime visit so that you can try lots of dishes at once!

Veldig sentral beliggenhet mitt i Gågata av Porto. Generell rent og fine rom. Hyggelig inne- basseng, stor nok for å kjøle litt ned og svømmer noen runder. Koselig å sitte ute på gata for en kaffe eller et glass vin om kvelden og se på folk og hører på noen av de mange musikanter. Gode Restaurants og barer i nærheten.

Frokost i under etasjen var litt hektisk og trangt. Den siste koppen kaffe tok vi heller ute på gata. Kanskje litt mer oppmerksomhet i baren/ute om kvelden kunne man ønsker seg.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location. Comfortable rooms, great choices at breakfast and would definitely stay here again. Mauro at breakfast, and the whole team were really good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The ladies at reception were delightful, my guestroom was comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast was a generous selection of delicious food. A special thank you to Mauro who ensured that the coffee kept flowing and that everybody enjoyed their breakfasts.

Pousada Porto is a delightful hotel in an amazing location. Directly outside the beautiful lobby is a friendly pedestrian street with access to the river and the train station Sao Bento. My room was beautifully appointed and had doors opening onto a little balcony allowing fesh air and sunshine into the room. The pool and sauna were a treat as was the breakfast buffet with daily variations. All of the staff were helpful and friendly and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointing experience overall. The room characteristics did not correspond to how they were presented on Booking.com. Due to room images that created an attractive architectural impression but did not accurately reflect reality, along with incomplete and misleading room descriptions, I ended up reserving a room that was not suitable for me to stay in — something I only discovered at check-in. More concerning was the way the issue was handled. What initially appeared to be a friendly and solution-oriented approach proved, in reality, to be misleading to the customer, followed by inconsistent statements and unfulfilled verbal assurances. This created a serious loss of trust and raised concerns regarding transparency and professional conduct. Furthermore, my subsequent correspondence with senior management made it clear that this was not merely an isolated issue in staff communication, but rather reflected a broader problem in the hotel’s institutional approach to customer relations and professional conduct. Although the hotel’s presentation on Booking.com is quite appealing from a marketing perspective and its location is convenient, I believe there are far better accommodation options in the surrounding area.

This is a very well located hotel great for all the visitor needs, with good English spoken by the staff. We had booked a city view with mini balcony through easyJet holidays, what we got was a room on the lower ground floor looking out over the alley beside the hotel (with no balcony). Which meant if we didn’t draw the blinds, passersby would be looking in. Obviously you get a bit of noise for same reason. It’s not the hotels fault , it was just wrongly advertised by EasyJet. The rooms were very clean and had fresh towels each day. Our room was very cosy. We had to turn sideways to get past the end of the bed and the TV on wall. Breakfast buffet was very good and varied, with excellent service the food was fresh and they cooked eggs to order. With good air conditioning, the room also had a free room safe (unlike some hotels in Europe these days) and there was a large bottle of water, which was replaced each day. They have a small bar area in the lobby. We were going to sit here and have a drink one night when back from a day walking, but it was full a coach party group who were staying at the hotel. However it is a nice hotel, with a small cozy swimming pool and is a shortish walk to main train station and metro.

We had a very enjoyable stay for 3 nights at this hotel which is centrally located in the old town and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions and the river. We had breakfast in the hotel which was very nice with good choices. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants in the area for dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was more spacious than we had expected. Although the building is obviously old the interior decor is contemporary and fresh.

We stayed at the Pousada Porto for for nights on a short break to Porto - what a lovely hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and a lovely pool and and sauna. It is ideally located for access to the river, cathedral, wine caves, and located on the Rua Das Flores, there are loads of places to eat and drink. Definitely recommended

The staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. Our room was at street level with the only window looking directly out onto the street so we had to keep the blinds drawn all the time for privacy and that made the room dark, even at midday. The room was clean and attractive but small. There was not much space for luggage or unpacking. There was also no work space (desk). The hotel location was very central and we were able to walk to all of the places that we wanted to see, although a taxi was easily available the one time we did not want to walk. We did not eat at the hotel except for breakfast, which was fresh and well-prepared. We would stay again, though probably ask for a room on a higher floor, or looking out into the inner courtyard.
