Pas de serviette fournie et aucun ménage ne semble avoir été fait pendant les 3 jours où je suis restée. Le dortoir (très petit) est littéralement dans le hall de l'auberge donc si vous avez besoin de dormir dans le calme, passez votre chemin

Non che Semporna abbia molto da offrire in sè come città ma la struttura si trova in un'ottima posizione per fruire di ristoranti e servizi essenziali. Camera non molto spaziosa ma pulita e dotata di un letto comodo!

la struttura non presenta purtroppo un ascensore/montacarichi per portare le valigie al piano superiore dove ci sono le stanze. Un pò come in tutta la malesia, il bagno è sempre un compromesso (nel nostro caso doccia e wc stavano nello stesso vano senza piatto doccia ne eventualio tendine per separare)

Camera pulita. Posizione ottima per le escursioni che partono da Seafest Jetty (10min a piedi). Si trova in mezzo ai locali sul porto, quindi ottimo per uscire la sera per andare a cena.

La camera senza finestra era davvero minuscola, anche se aveva tutto l'indispensabile. Le camere non sono ben insonorizzate. (Colpa anche delle persone maleducate che urlano nei corridoi).

Camera pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario. Posizione ottima per il Seafest Jetty e per i locali dove cenare la sera.

Struttura molto bella, la camera era super, ci hanno anche aiutato a organizzare i tour in barca. Soddisfatti!

Perfetto per fare island hopping e vicino ai ristoranti

Je ne savais pas qu'il n'y avait pas de fenêtre. Je dors la fenêtre ouverte et donc, je n'ai pas bien dormi. Il faudrait bien préciser qu'il n'y a pas de fenêtre.

The beds in the shared room were really good, you have your own fan, light and mirror inside your pod. The hostel was very clean and well located (close to the Jetty).

I booked for three nights and then added another two because my room was so comfortable and the location is so good, close to restaurants and shops and food stalls. A lot of thought has been put into the planning of the rooms so that the guests have everything they need. I was very grateful for the shampoo after snorkelling. Also there is a welcoming shared space downstairs with a fridge, a water filter and plates and cutlery.

The staff were lovely, but did not know that I had to ask to rent flippers for snorkelling. If you want flippers, make sure you hire them when you make your tour booking.

A clean room with a comfy bed. Also a great location - very central. The shower seemed a bit improvised, but was fully functional.

Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff was disappointing. The employees I interacted with consistently came across as unfriendly and lacked basic courtesy. Simple greetings such as "hello" or "please" were absent, information was provided reluctantly, and even brief interactions felt unpleasant. Hospitality starts with respectful communication, and I would encourage management to ensure that staff are trained in basic standards of politeness and customer service.

i come here every year for my dives. i like that it's right at the front. where most dive centres are. at least the one i commonly dive with, just a few doors away. i wake up for a quick breakfast at one of the coffee shops beside and head for my dive. coming back after a day's dive and tired and salt watery, i can get straight into the shower. so location and convenience is a plus for me.

Room was small and there was a fire in the middle of the night, the fire alarms didn't work. The staff had to knock on the door to inform us

Great location, close to the restaurants and diving centres. Very friendly staff, comfy bed.

The smell from the street once you leave the room. No window- but not really a big deal if you only sleep there. The air-con was leaking though and the lights above the bed were not working.

Absolut pragmatisches Hostel mit nettem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung. Dorm war sehr klein und eng, aber Preis/Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

La struttura si trova in una zona un po' affollata e non molto bene frequentata, ma per entrare occorre un codice e questo è molto rassicurante. Il concierge è sempre presente e quando abbiamo aspettato la macchina che ci veniva a prendere è uscito per assicurarsi che nessuno ci infastidisce. La camera con vista mare è molto bella. Peccato che il bagno non sia un granché.

Semporna non è bella. Soggiornarvi serve solo come base per andare a visitare le isole vicine che sono un sogno.

There was a power outage since four days before my arrival which was expected to last for at least 8 days, but they told me only when i wanted to check in and it was already too late to book another accomodation. All other places had installed power generators, but this hostel decided to not do anything. They didn‘t even give a discount! So you had the noise from the generators of the neighbours, but no electricity. Do not book a trip to the islands with them unless you are chinese, since the company who runs these trips has only chinese customers who will insult you all day long and don’t know how to behave. The tour operator doesn‘t care about you! I was also set on another tour than i had booked….

Some noise from the street at night

Place is very comfy and clean, staff is friendly, hot water, AC, close to so many good restaurants. Every evening coming from the chaotic Semporna city, it felt like an oasis of comfort and good vibes. Staff helped us book an island hoping tour very last minute and a minivan to airport. We did laundry through a local service provided by them and it came back smelling so nice.

We liked everything.

Die Zimmer sind originell gestaltet, zumindest jenes, das ich hatte. Die Lage direkt am Hafen ist perfekt für die weiterreise. Ob das allerdings den Preis gerechtfertigt, sei dahin gestellt.

My room didn’t have a window which I don’t remember being clear when I booked. There was no laundry service and no tumble dryer like stated

L’odeur à humidité et le fait qu’ils envoient quelqu’un à surveiller (peut-être) les installations mais que nous n’étions pas au courant et ça fait bizarre de voir rentrer un homme vers minuit rester dans le salon ou faire des tours.

Es ist sehr hellhörig und wir hatten eine Nacht einen heftigen Sturm, der durch die Lüftungsschächte extrem laut zu hören war und wir deswegen kaum schlafen konnten.

Molto comodo sia per le partenze alle escursioni sia per tutti i servzi, Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una camera con vista mare, grande, pulita e con piccolo terrazzino.

Attenzione ad altre tipologie di camere che non hanno le finestre.

Praktisch für eine Übernachtung

Lage

Personale gentile e disponibile. La struttura è molto carina, la hall è confortevole per una pausa di relax. Abbiamo preso una camera senza finestre che era di dimensioni molto ridotte ma con le comodità essenziali e pulita. Le camere con vista mare sono molto belle.

1. position is just, fabulous, for most cases. lots of restaurants to choose from, close to the fish market, close to many scuba/plongee diving providers 2. the room is designed in a way that is still acceptable, with considerably good conditioned amentieis and facilities inside the room.

1. noisy. the building next to the hotel is under construction and is producing a unbearable volume of noise, from around 8am to 6pm. 2. room is just, small; price is too high in the town. 3. quite dirty outside the hotel - it's still quite good within the hotel though 4. it provide a balcony for guests to hang their clothes on, but, smoky restaurants will make your readily-cleaned wet clothes .... into .... tasty food?

Great location right in the port. Only steps from where the boat let us off. Small room but clean and tidy. Big balcony with a nice view of the busy waterway.
